IPTV is really giving DSTV run of their life, The truth is that the world has gone digital , even if DSTV slash to 2k naira on premium package it cannot be compare to numerous entertaining channel on an Internet Protocol Cable TV.

Life is about time and chance . Yesterday was DSTV

KingAzubuike:
The dissolution of SARS will harness more harm than good. Yahoo boys and armed robbers will start having a field day. Yesterday driving through Yaba, I saw a well known Yahoo boy protesting . I just dey laugh inside. 90% of protesters are into one crime or the other. The remaining 10% have affiliates, benifit from or are linked to the protesters .
I have been a victim of SARS harassment twice, firstly was for driving my uncle's car , second time was for driving my own car during lockdown after identifying myself as an essential worker they still did not release me, Guess what? they arrested some yahoo boys that same night but they were to release after transferring some amount of cash to them, one of them even open his car and gave them bottles of wine,

SARS does not have issues with Yahoo boys because they always negotiate their way out.. They have issues with working hard citizen, They believe you cant live a better life without committing crime

Cyberterror:
To me, the project is just a waste of resources because basically the proposed route of this new bridge is same as the third mainland bridge. It will even "flyover" the third mainland bridge!! So it is more of an ego trip than a necessity. That 2.2 billion dollars will be more beneficial if it is used to pave the many unpaved roads in the satellite towns of Lagos State.
3rd mainland bridge will get you to lagos Island.. but the proposed 4th mainland bridge start from Ajah.. Ajah to Epe axis will become the next business hub in lagos(sea port, airport, refinery etc)... This is the best time for such project

CareerHome Automation - Smart Human Smart Home by Ciscogod(op): 10:15pm On Aug 30, 2020
*Overview*

Architectural designs and features for houses and gated estates in Nigeria have evolved to include satellite tv installation, conduit electrical wiring but not data network installation. We are living in the golden age of technology development and involvement, owing a smart home is no longer luxury but a necessity. A house or estate without pre-installed data network installation is a ‘dull’ house. Global-IT Automation services, is a Nigeria Information Technology Company with expertise in the Internet of Things (IoT) that turns ‘dull’ houses, hotels, and estates into smart homes.” What is Internet of Things (IoT)? IoT refers to ‘objects that talk to each other’ the interconnection via the internet of computing devices embedded in everyday object, enables them not only to send and receive data, but perform their primary function without requiring human-human or human-computer interaction. Examples of IoT compliant objects found in homes and estates include CCTV, air condition, blinds, sound systems, lighting, censors, satellite TV, doorbells, and access control.

*What is a Smart Home ?*

“A smart home is an Internet of Things (IoT) enabled home. In a smart home appliance are connected into a common network that can be independently and remotely controlled. For example occupants of a smart home can control their doors, alarm systems, audio speakers, lighting, blinds, home security- access controls and more all connected into a common system through the internet and intranet, which can be controlled from your smart phone from anywhere in the world, using a mobile or other networked device. Home automation technologies have features such as: control of home temperature(heating, ventilation and air conditioning) , appliance control, lighting system, occupancy-aware control(it is possible to sense the occupancy and activities in the home using smart meters), remote surveillance of the security cameras over the internet.

A smart home technology consists of multiple automation systems. These systems connect controlled devices to a central hub or gateway. The user interface for the control of the system uses either Mobile phone Apps, tablet, desktop computers, wall-mouthed terminals, remote, and voice control.

*User Interface and their features*
I. Mobile Application : A centralized application will be installed on your smart device(Phone, Tablet or Tablet), The application will seamlessly centralized all smart solution in the LAN for monitoring, control and accessibility, with the application client can gain access to their smart home solution remotely, In global-IT we believe smart humans needs smart home

II. Remote: With the use of remote you can swiftly control your Play-station, Netflix, Cable TV, this will also give visitors access to some functions in the house without disturbing our client

III. Wall-mounted terminals : this enables users to control their home solution on the control terminals installed in the house, this also serve as perfect solution for the elderly or visitors that are not tech savvy

IV. Voice Control : with amazon alexa or google, We can actually control the smart home solution locally with our voice without a touch of button.

*Why choose a Smart Home ?*

We have discussed components of a smart home, we are going to share some of the basic reasons why you should turn your home into a smart home.

I. Convenience factor; A smart home allows you manage all your home devices from one place; all that is required is to learn how to use one user interface on your smart phone and tablet, and you will be able to tap into countless functions and devices throughout home.

II. Comfort: Your home should be your most relaxed place, smart home automation make your life more comfortable and saves you the stress of moving around the house to perform certain function. With a smart device you can perform all functions while sitting on a sofa.

III. Maximizing home security: incorporating security and surveillance features in your home can skyrocket your security. For examples, home automation system can connect motion detectors, surveillance cameras, automated door locks. A motion detector can send signals to your mobile device, notifying you of any activity in your home.

IV. Control of home function: smart home occupants are able to control their home functions from a distance. You can check to see if you left your lights on, turned off your media, you can have the shades drawn automatically at a certain time.

V. Improved appliance functionality: smart homes can help you run and manage your home appliances better. A smart home theatre and audio system can manage your movies and music collections effortlessly.

VI. Home management insights: You can monitor how often you watch Tv, use your thread mill, cook a meal. The list is endless

VII. Accommodating new devices and appliances: a smart human automation will integrate new and existing appliance seamlessly. You do not have to bother connecting the new appliances.

Thank you very much. Well to the best of my knowledge he's ready to learn in fact if not because of the lockdown situation in the country he may have started already but is good we get things cleared up now than regretting later. So you are saying Network administrator is better than data analysis right?
I never said so, He should find his passion and go for it... Both are very broad and can fetch him good money as far as he's good at what he does

The lockdown should even be an added advantage for him to study.. Let him register with cbtnuggets.com or ine.com
PoliticsRe: Between Data Analysis And Programming Network Administrator Which One Is Better? by Ciscogod(m): 9:26am On Apr 06, 2020
I'm an IP engr working for an ISP,

*First Question*

if there is any difference between Network admin and Cisco Engr. The answer is easy.. Just like when someone ask of there is any difference btw toothpaste and close-up? Cisco is just a networking company that produce networking devices just like Junipa, Huawei, Nokia, UBNT , etc. all those companies engr are called Network Engr/ Network Admin,

For the second question:

The world is going into automation , When you ask about Network programming, I'm currently studying python for network engrs but believe me you.. You still need to grow your deep into how TCP/IP works first before going into network programming

Load of rubbish!.

Are you in anyway saying most of these unemployed graduates are unqualified? What an ignorant thing to say... You have no idea what you are talking about.

A lot of people who graduated with first are stuck with menial jobs. The good jobs are almost non-existent(except if you are from an elite family)

The fact is the shit hole of a country has failed its youth. Its glaring.

Its easy to sit on your sofa and type nonsense when you are completely out of touch with reality.
