Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, has successfully delivered Epe Local Government to the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari and the party’s candidates for the National Assembly.

In the final results collated and announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, on Sunday the APC polled 17,710 votes across the 19 wards in the local government, while the PDP got 13, 305 votes.

The breakdown shows that the APC showed its strength, winning in 17 of the 19 wards in Epe local government.



Ambode successful won his Polling Unit 033, Ogunmodede College in Ajaganabe Area, Ward A5, Epe, where APC polled 131 votes as against PDP who got 116 votes in the presidential election.

It was also victory songs for the APC in the Senate and House of Representatives elections, as the APC candidate for the House of Representatives, Hon Wale Raji will be returning to the Green Chambers, as he polled a total of 18,326 votes to beat the PDP candidate, Oye Ayantuga, who got a total of 13,250 votes.


The result also showed that the APC Senatorial candidate, Bayo Oshinowo scored 18,728 votes to defeat the PDP candidate, Abiodun Oyefusi who polled 13,134 votes.

Senate President Bukola Saraki has yet again lost the Ilorin East Local Government to his closest rival, Ibrahim Oloriegbe, of the All Progressives Congress.

Mr Saraki, candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, polled 14, 654 while Mr Oloriegbe polled 30, 014.

PREMIUM TIMES reported how Mr Saraki lost Asa local government to the APC candidate.

There are four local governments in the senatorial district including Asa, Ilorin West, Ilorin East and Ilorin South local governments.

While Asa and Ilorin East local governments results have been collated and announced as at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, the two other local governments are being awaited Sunday afternoon.

In Ilorin East, the returning officer gave the number of registered votes to be 149,177 while accredited voters were put at 47,174.

President Muhammadu Buhari is in an early lead across Kwara State as results of Saturday’s presidential election begin to trickle in Sunday evening.

Mr Buhari, candidate of the All Progressives Congress, is edging his closest rival and former Nigerian vice president, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party.

From results of nine local governments announced thus far in Ilorin, the Kwara State Capital, Mr Buhari has won in eight LGAs.

His closest rival, Mr Abubakar, has won in one local government thus far. There are 16 local governments in Kwara State.

In Asa local government, results announced thus far showed that the APC polled 15, 976 while the PDP polled 10, 705. In Oyun Local government, the APC polled 11051 while the PDP polled 4, 904.

In Ekiti local government, Mr Buhari polled 6, 662 while Mr Abubakar of the
PDP polled 5397.

However, Mr Abubakar’s party won in Oke-Ero local government as the
APC polled 6079 while the
PDP polled 6242.

But in Irepodun Local government, the APC resumed its winning streak as it polled 14395 to beat the PDP which polled 10232. Similarly, in Moro Local government, the APC polled 17534 while the PDP polled 7598.

In Ilorin East Local government, the
APC garnered 31,039 votes while the
PDP gathered 12820 votes.

In Offa Local government, the APC won overwhelmingly by polling 23,685 votes while the PDP gathered 4540. Similarly, in Pategi Local government, the APC garnered 14791 while the PDP gathered 3493.

Results of other local governments are being awaited. They include Baruten, Edu, Ifelodun, Ilorin South, Ilorin West, Isin, and Kaiama local governments.

Believe me that''s the beauty of democracy, When i was leaving NYSC, It was time to appoint new CLO for my local govt, I suggest to my LGI that we should appoint someone that can do the job perfectly well.. But the man said he prefer people to elect their leaders.. Should they elect bad leader thats their choice.

The founder doesn't exploit members of the pilgrimage center to build his schools, he doesn't increase his fees that no one can afford, even payments are made in pieces which no other private school will accept

He doesn't want politicians to invest in the school and later use for campaigns

We were the pathfinder of Akpugo campus.. Each semester you pay for Library and Equipment .. Do calc it for Engineering and tell me the cost.

We slept without bunk at Akpugo.. We graduated and awaited for a year just to see our result.

NUC still comes for periodic check, They did approve Akpugo cumpus even with no proper infrastructure for learning and accommodation.

A think a visit to the school will make u rethink

Madonna was a nightmare, School infrastructure is zero, We pay over 150k as library fee with no books to read. The school was built to exploit students.. NUC is a corrupt organization.. They only visit private schools when they need brown envelop..

I am working with devops guy everyday, I have not met anyone with even a CCNA. These guys are well versed in what they do. You will get a better ROI knowledgeable about Linux variants.

i work in an ISP.. My boss does not have CCNA... and he's very good.. but have never seen any of our job advert without requesting for certification

In this day and age, you dont need to have a CCIE to design a highly available and fault tolerant network environment on a cloud infrastructure. CCIE is a passing fad, cloud has taken over. Kubernetes and docker containers' skills are currently in vogue

Amazon will still ask for CCIE RandS before they land you a big role... Seriously u dont need CCIE to plan and implement big network,, but its always a passport for bigger jobs.. I'm writing mine in March sha

Mehn, I have been stranded couples of time during my university days, But i do find good Nigerians to help me out in every situation,

I schooled in the east, often time i do find it hard to transport myself back to the west whenever we are on break.. There was a day i entered one chance bus at Onitsha going to Lagos, I was being skeptical of the bus thou, But just because the transport fare was cheaper compare to other buses , I decided to proceed, Only for the driver to Stop at Ore(Ondo-State) and told us that''s the last bus-stop.. to cut long story short.. I met a young man that assisted me , He accommodated me that night and gave me transport the next day..

Funny experience again, i was stranded in Ondo state, I met a security man(bank guard), I narrated my story that i was coming from the east and I'm on my way to Ekiti.. They man took pity and told me He's also from the East, As poor as the man was, He gat a golden heart.. He took me to his one room apartment and i continue my journey the next day.. The funny aspect was that the yorubas brothers i met in Akure before the man that helped me, actually robbed me of my phone that night before meeting the man..

Again in PHC, no enough cash to pay for transport to Ekiti.. Someone just paid my fare for me..

Mehn.. Anythime i see or hear of anyone being stranded.. I dont even wanna know maybe its real or fake.. i assist immediately .
