@ poster since you live in PH, I suggest you try Direct on Pc. In my opinion they are the best ISP in their locations of Lagos, Abuja and PH. The initial set up cost is about N15150, which is 12k for the modem and 3150 for 50hrs of browsing valid for 30 days. Believe me when I say they are really and truely reliable.

The topic of this thread was about Intercontinental Bank and suddenly it has veered to which bank is better than which. I just think we should stay focused  when we make our contributions to any topic. My opinion is that there is no justification for Inter to wait till the very last day of the month/year to lay off staff. It is wicked to say the least. And the point that some other staffers were promoted does not still make it right as we all thought the dark days of sacking were behind and the bank was poised to move forward. This action only sends the signal that all is still not well with Lai Alabi and his crew!

I have read some of the comments posted here and must confess some make a lot of sense while others are utter rubbish. From the story, Pastor Tunde Bakare himself has come out to say they were not offered bribe, but only given transport fare. Yet some people still have a problem with that explanation. I want to believe you offer some body bribe in other to induce them. In this case nobody has come forward to say that was the purpose. And for those who say $50,000 is too much, i beg to disagree with them that even if is was N2,000 that was mentioned they would have still had a problem with that.
As for SAHARAREPORTERS who carried the story, i have since written them off as a bunch of clowns. The other time they wrote that Mrs Obama snubbed Patiance Jonathan in the US, only for her PA to disprove the story by providing pictures Mrs Obama took with Mrs Jonathan.
If SAHARAREPORTERS was not an online forum, i would not expend my one kobo to buy their lies.

@poster, this is the dumbest post i've read on nairaland for a while. So what if your "first son" is left handed? Instead of worrying about what hand your son is using, you should be grateful to God that he can even use his hands in the first place. I agree with those who say this list is not different from what Amodu would have drawn up. I know there is no time for Lagerback to go in search of un-tested materials, but for Gods sake what ever happened to Nedum Onuoha who clearly expressed his desire to play for Nigeria?We are really lacking in our defence line and that ought to be of great concern to Mr Lagerback. Except Lagerback knows what he is not telling us about the likes of Onuoha, Victor Moses etc, the list is depressing to say the least!!!!!!!!!!!

With all due respect to Amodu, i think he is wrong about Lagerback. I feel sorry for Amodu though considering the way he was used and dumped by the NFF. Throughout his tenure he was caught between a rock and a hard place. Whether to go for new and untested players, even from the local league or to stick with the same set of players he was used to. And knowing our penchant for instant gratification, he took the easy way out to save his skin.But with the benefit of hind-sight, we all agree he should have taken a risk and tried out new players like the Ghanian coach did at the last nations cup. So from what we are hearing Lagerback wants to do what Amodu could not or refused to do. Therefore, Amodu rather than predicting doom,should wish the man and the team well!

My 2001 Mazda 626 American spec caught fire in the engine. I have tried without success to get the wires replaced, but so far i've not been able to get the correct wires. The common ones in the market(Ladipo/Owode) are for European spec.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

@poster, i am not familiar with Mtn but i can say that Zain has not cancelled family and friends. With the new Zain default platform which is Zain Jolie, you have as one of the four options - Jolie paddy. If you choose this option, you can add 10 F and F numbers and pay as low as 25k/second or N15/min for call to those numbers. I tell you my peeps, Zain Jolie offers the cheapest prepaid rates in Nigeria at the moment. If you are already on the Zain network, dial *210*10# or simply buy a new Zain Simcard to start enjoying these cheap rates, believe me!

My little contribution seeing that am not an expert as some other posters, would be to go for Direct on Pc. Like some people have said it might depend on your area though . I also had a very frustrating time when i was using multilinks dial up. I live in Okota in Lagos and since i started using Direct on Pc, i've not looked back.

Do not let your class of degree be an obstacle to your achieving your goals in life. It is quite unfortunate that most Nigerian graduates come out of university only to seek paid employment. Why can't we take a cue from these Lebanese people who come to Nigeria to establish businesses? I want to put the blame at the door-step of the kind of education we receive in this country which does not give you the basics on how to be an employer yourself. We all cannot be job seekers!Until we have a paradigm shift as regards what we want to do after university, it will continue to matter the class of degree you come out with. After all Bill Gates who is the current third richest man in the world did not complete college.

I will therefore encourage you to think of a business you can start, and who knows you might end up employing all those your classmates who made 1st class and 2.1.
