maclatunji:y Op, why is this protest all about 2face. I have said it before that 2face is not a poor man by any stretch of imagination. He can afford not to care like a lot of our so called "prominent people". But posterity will be the judge at the end of the day. The reason people think 2face should keep quiet is the very same reason why i think he should use the platform God has given him to make his voice heard. |

I wonder the type of so called lecturers we have in this country. In other progressive countries, lecturers and indeed the academia are usually at the fore front of social crusades to bring about positive change in the society. While not holding brief for Tuface, i believe he has every right to mobilize people to protest against what he perceives as injustice in the society. To question his moral right for demanding a better society now and not when Jonathan was in power is just being simplistic. In that regard then we all should be held accountable because we benefited from lower petrol prices despite the massive corruption that was going on in the country. So now that inflation has reached an all time high of 18.6% are we to be silent because we all took part in fuel subsidy with the previous administration of Jonathan claimed to have spent heavily on. By all standards Tuface is a rich man but as the saying goes you are equally poor if you are the only rich man in the midst of poor people. |
Op, i thot we would see pictures from different parts of town to buttress this story. Showing pictures from just one location does not tell very much |

I wonder what pact PMB has with the SFG that will make him stake his reputation on this man....or could it be a case of birds of a feather flocking together? |

9jakohai:@op well said!A lot of people are not aware that we have good quality products being made here in Nigeria. The other day i ordered for a pair of shoes on Jummia made by O'tega shoes and the quality was really good. So on a personal level, i have resolved henceforth to patronize only made in Nigeria goods unless and except where they are not available |
[quote author=winkmart post=52468478]Controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo wants you to know she is more beautiful than these 25 year old h**e around town. So tell your girlfriend to begin to look like Ms. Kemi, since she has claimed to be cuter than them all. It's time less attention is accrued to this woman, who seems to always be under the influence of some sorts of substance anytimes she decides to write on social media. A govt that has "Lie"Mohammed as spokeman will always "lie". They were just testimg the water to see how Nigerians would react to the price increase. And now that the feedback is negative they have conveniently denied every ordering the price increase in the first place. PMB and co, how market? |
I bought an Airtel Mifi modem at Slot store, Simbiat Abiola way, Ikeja on 2nd November 2016. I was told by the Airtel agents at the shop that the modem cost N20,000 and comes with 30GB data valid for 60 days. After making payment, i was asked to pay another N1,000 to activate the simcard, making a total of N21,000 i paid. The line was activated late on that day but i noticed the data there was only for the N1,000 i paid. So i called up one of the agents who gave me his name as Hazan who promised to check and get back to me on why the 30GB was not credited to me. He later called to inform me that he was told the 30GB was a promo offer and it ended on the 31st of October 2016. I asked him what i was supposed to do now since it was unthinkable for me to have paid N20,000 to get just a modem without any free data. He asked my to call the customer service line and make a complaint which i did. I was told by the customer service agent that she could not give me any information on the reason why i was not given the 30GB or if there was any promo which ended on 31st October. Right now i feel defrauded and very upset. Why do our companies act like this. When there is a situation, the consumer is left on their own. So i now have to go to Slot to go and fight with the agents who sold me the modem when the organisation should have been the one to look into the case. |

Why is it that anybody caught for petty crime is suddenly reported as a "notorious armed robber". Agreed these hungry looking girls committed a crime and should be made to face the music, but I just don't subscribe to this unnecessary sensationalism attached to every minor arrest. |
Most of the roads in Okota Isolo need to be on that list. Especially Okota road that leads from Ago round about to cele express. Also Dr Fasheun avenue right from century bus stop to the end is deteriorating very fast. |

@poster for your budget I'd suggest you go for sonyericsson xperia neo v. It comes with android 2.3 which can be up-graded to 4.0. Am so loving this phone right now. Sonyericsson make a lot of quality even if under-stated phones. |
First time i tasted this so called cassava bread, i poohed for a whole day. I totally agree with those who say it should be left to choice for people to decide what they want to eat. We are not in a command economy. If there is demand for cassava bread, am sure our bakers know what to do. |

@patwolex, i wish i had an answer for you. I started this thread to try and get answers myself because my own passport has been with them since on the 10th of April. From the feelers am getting, this seems to be the trend. Just continue to hope my brother. |
@Ojdollars thanks bro for your response. I just thought this would be a simple process but as i have now realised it is turning out to be anything but. I just have to keep hoping and waiting. |
@Scoby911 I've been tracking it online and they keep telling me it's under assessment. My concern is it's taken 5 weeks already.Even visas to UK and US do not take this long to be processed. |
@TayoTFC thanks for d reply. I actually submitted my documents on the 10th of April and am yet to hear from them, today being the 14th of May. Am just surprised it takes so long to get the visa. That is why I wanted others to share their experiences with me if they equally had to wait this long. |
Hello everyone, pls does anyone in the house know how long it takes to get a first time visitor visa to South Africa? |
I bought at Total filling station, Toyin Street Ikeja this evening at N140.5/litre. It cost me N5,660 to fill my tank with just below half tank inside previously. |
As the proud owner of a brand new $25million Gulfstream4 luxury jet, Pastor Eunuch Adejale need not be concerned if his aircraft is "accidentally" filled up with cooking kerosene rather than with jet fuel, since Big Daddy has already invented a car whose engine reportedly ran for 200 miles with NO fuel other than prayer. With such a proven background in alternative fuel MODALITIES, similar prayers can easily be deployed as needed by Pastor Adebole, for the purpose of converting into Jet-A1 fuel ANY liquid piped into the tanks of his bird. From the above any wonder why our students are always failing their NECO and other exams. |
