CelebritiesRe: Wizkid And Linda Ikeji Reconcile by cjayy(m): 10:55pm On Apr 18, 2016
Linda had to put things straight since a lot of inexperienced people on NL have failed to come to terms with the reality of life; there was no way Wizkid wouldn't have tendered an apology or written an undertaken in such matter.
CelebritiesRe: LindaIkeji: Wizkid Honors Police Invite by cjayy(m): 6:01pm On Apr 18, 2016
One thing you guys fail to reason is that Linda did the right thing by going to the police.

There is no way Wizkid would report to the police and leave without at least writing an undertaken, being responsible for anything that happens to Linda. This is the practice. Of course the police must not lock him up afterwards.

If you openly threaten someone that is highly placed and well informed, the person goes all out to invoke the law against you.

So the picture does not matter.

PoliticsRe: "Keep Quite" Saraki Tells APC Senators by cjayy(m): 5:55pm On Oct 07, 2015
Did you expect Saraki to reject the petition? How would it have been in the eyes of the public? Ofcourse the petition has to be received as long as it had been tendered.

The same objection today would repeat on the day of screening and nothing would be against Amaechi since all the allegations have not been proven in a competent court of law.

This is politics and I see Amaechi sailing through.

Christianity EtcRe: Give Your 'Tithes' And Offerings To The Less Fortunate In Church by cjayy(m): 6:36pm On Mar 03, 2013
@osifred

'The poor will alwayz be there for you to give to them but I won't alwayz be there.' Jesus responding to his disciple when a lady wanted to wash his feet with oitment against the wish of the disciples who thought the substance could have been sold and the proceed given to the poor.

There is a 100 fold return on blessing for paying tithe while there is 30 fold return for giving to the poor.

So I rather give to God for 100 folds return

I feel Jesus Christ here was talking of 'physical presence' because He knew He was going to die soon and ascend to Heaven. Which means 'physically' the poor would be more evident in our presence. If the Bible acknowledges the poor always being there (which is physical), why not give to them more now that Jesus Christ is in Heaven because the Bible says if you provide for the poor you also provide for God. Am not talking about tithe here but only logically trying to throw light on osifred's comment.

But Nigeria's games have always been this way. Most times the Super Eagles win matches, they don't play exceptionally better.

PhonesRe: What Blackberry Phone Has The Longest Battery-life? by cjayy(m): 5:39pm On Sep 14, 2011
How your BB Ba3 drains really depends on how you use it. They key to a lasting Ba3 life is to Close All Applications when not in use. If you download so many Applications that always Run in the background, then your Ba3 wouldn't last long.

Always Boost your BB Memory and Clear Logs. Network Fluctuations too drain Ba3 Life cos the BB uses more Energy/Power @ this point.

Remember that too much of pinging, typing and press press (and a lot more) is synonymous with BB Users, so that's just that.

Happy Pinging!
SportsRe: Odemwingie Remains Banned. He Needs To Apologize - Siasia by cjayy(m): 1:53am On Jun 12, 2011
@aribisala0,

If you want to make a comment, just comment and leave, donot insult me ok! It is my own opinion, you have yours but dont insult me.

Osazee cannot just carry his bag and leave camp without first seeking permission. He's not crazy. What we can say is that his permission was not granted before he did.

READ MY POST VERY WELL.
SportsRe: Odemwingie Remains Banned. He Needs To Apologize - Siasia by cjayy(m): 1:25am On Jun 12, 2011
I dont support indiscipline but let us reason what must have really transpired between Osazee and Siasia.

For Osazee to have walked out on Siasia or the team, an arguement must have likely ensued after he must have sort permission to be excused from the team. Osazee plays for West Brom and this club pays him as their employee. They might have given him condition to travel to Nigeria. In as much as he wants to play for his country, he also wants to keep his job. Every player faces this. Most times, clubs dont even want to release their players. And when they do, some condition(s) might be attached which the players themselves are aware of. If Osazee has explained this to Siasia, he ought to have pondered on it and given him a fair hearing. Maybe Siasia didnt give him consideration, maybe both of them dared themselves and he had to leave.

What am saying is that, Osazee must have sort permission (he didnt just walk out) before leaving camp and was not granted the request. Its indiscipline to leave a football camp without the consent of your boss. As humans, when we feel our reason is genuine on a humble request and we are ignored, we often want to go ahead and pursue our goal. If Siasia were to be Osazee's employer, there would have been more limits to his action but West Brom is. Moreover the match in question was just a friendly and he felt others could equally execute the task. Maybe that was why Osazee decided to walk away. Maybe O!

Osazee was disrespectful but since Siasia didnt grant him his humble request, he just had to go back to his employer at the time he was needed most. Although Nigeria also needed him but not necessarily as much as his club which needed to be out of the relegation zone did.

Osazee did wrong leaving the camp, he should have called Siasia to apologize directly but we are told he didnt (maybe he couldnt due to the exchange of words between them before finally leaving-we are all humans and we know people have pride). If he did apologize thru the media, then it was a pre-emptive step he took.

In conclusion, Siasia should have pacified the punishment meted out to Osazee. He is the Head Coach so he should know his players and how to handle them.

I pray for peace amongst the Super Eagles players and the technical crew.
PoliticsRe: Madam Jonathan And Her English by cjayy(m): 5:56pm On Dec 26, 2010
@ Ikandah

In your statement : ''Is GEJ and Sambo not a quiet people''

Look at this statement critically, it is correct english since GEJ and Sambo have common interest in 2011. They are even a pair. They are one two individuals, people or persons.

Or should we have said : ''Are GEJ and Sambo not quiet people'' ( It could also be correct) but when we consider the two persons involved (with common interest), the first statement is also correct.

In conclusion, @ POSTER, Madam GEJ is not wrong o!

Thats my own opinion.
PoliticsRe: Madam Jonathan And Her English by cjayy(m): 4:09pm On Dec 26, 2010
IS IT NOT CORRECT TO SAY : ONE PEOPLE?

IF IT IS CORRECT THEN MADAME GOODLUCK JONATHAN IS CORRECT.

PoliticsRe: Madam Jonathan And Her English by cjayy(m): 4:04pm On Dec 26, 2010
THE STATEMENT:

" MY HUSBAND, DR GOODLUCK JONATHAN AND SAMBO IS A QUIET PEOPLE, "

ANALYSIS:

* DR GOODLUCK JONATHAN and SAMBO are referred to as one people because they are in the 2011 race together.

Therefore the use of 'IS' is correct.

THEREFORE, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG IN THAT STATEMENT. GO ASK ANY ENGLISH PROFESSIONAL.
SportsRe: I Need 3 Years To Rebuild Eagles -siasia by cjayy(m): 7:43am On Nov 21, 2010
Siasia should not give such an excuse of 3 years. Its not as if we are just starting in the game of football. We have been there and done dat. We have Nations Cup Qualifiers, we have the Nations Cup proper and likely friendly matches to encounter and all these are to be encountered within 3 years. Nigerians dont expect him to fail in all these. He is trying to save his head if he fails, then that doesnt mean he is a good coach. He has to be confident. If he fails in all these, millions of Nigerians would call for his head and he would then be a failed coach. We must qualify for the Nations Cup and even reach the Semi-final stage. If Siasia does not achieve this (all in the name of he re-building a team in a space of 3 years), then he has failed. The next World Cup is also imminent, is he saying that he would not qualify us for this within these 3 years? There is no excuse that would be accepted by millions of Nigerians and we all know this is the truth.

Amodu (the most successful coach in Nigeria-judging by his records:World cup qualifications, Nations Cup qualifications-Most times within the first 3 successful teams in the Nations cup) was not given more years yet despite his achievements, he is hated by millions of football-loving Nigerians, what would happen to Siasia if he achieves nothing (until after 3 years) all in the excuse of being given 3 years.

Abeg my brother Siasia, you have to go all out there and achieve results, even though we are dwindling in the game of football, we still have a standard. You must be successful in the rest of the Nations Cup Qualifying series, Nigeria must qualify, Nigeria must reach the Semi-finals, you must also qualify Nigerians for the next World Cup (all within 3 years or thereabout). Anything less than these (within these 3 years would not be acceptable and "THIS IS THE TRUTH" .

Thankyou.
