Just want to use this forum to testify of the goodness of God to me.I lost my job on exactly 31st July of this year and since then has been roaming everywhere and spending hours upon hours on the internet trying to get another job.God finally blessed me with two jobs(though i rejected one of them) just yesterday.I got a very mouth-watering offer at Notore Chemical Industries Limited(former NAFCON) in just a week after my interview.As i was basking in the euphoria of my new "Bigger boy" status,another call came thro to me from Sendquicker Limited in PH(the offer I rejected due to it was a stipend/commissioned based job).I have a very bright future at Notore and it is the 1st time i will get a job based on my course of study-Agric Economics.Now I can relax and build a career with a salary that was 5times my former salary.I simply God's gift that he dropped on my laps! i still remember last wedenesday when we went to Onne for the Notore interview and suddenly they brought an unexpected test of maths and english.They said after the test, the remaining pple who made it where the people who would now go ahead for the main interview(lesson-be always prepared!).

I have some piece of advice for those of u that r still hoping on God for a new or better job.

1.)Be aggressive in ur applications.I almost applied to all the companies in PH,whether they were recruiting or not.U need to see my email outbox!

2.)Never get tired of Tuesday Guardian cos that is where I got the Notore advert(nobody's connection or IM) and never get tired of browsing daily on the internet.Visit online job sites such as nairaland and many of them that we hv now.The Sedquicker offer i rejected was gotten thro nairaland.

3.)Never get discouraged when u apply and apply and seems nothing is happening.Sometimes u will normally get discouraged,but u trudge on and keep applying.When u get tired to apply might be when u wuld hv gotten something.

4.)Pray and fast about it.Very important.God is the only connection.I tell u,all ur so-called uncles,friends,relatives,will do nothing for u cos it is really not their headache.Only u and God can do it.Therefore 4get all of them and struggle on ur own with God!

Mmmmm,wht else! Make do with above pieces of advice for now cos i gave them from a personal experience angle.GOD BLESS US ALL and grant u ur desired jobs in Jesus name.Ameeeeeeen!!!

Zain Nigeria has launched an exciting and novel package designed to suit the lifestyle, needs and aspirations of young adults.

Tru Package, as the new product is called, allows pre-paid customers to enjoy low tariff from Monday through Friday and at weekends as well as make tariff-free calls at night.


Speaking at the launch in Lagos, Zain's chief executive officer Bayo Ligali said Tru Package comes in two special packages , Tru Talk and Tru Txt, and both come with the short message service (SMS) bonuses, Credit Me, Call Me Back service, and wap/internet services as well as other unique offerings on the Zain pre-paid package.

Explaining the mechanics of the product, chief marketing officer Norman Moyo said, "With the Tru Talk option, which is designed for those who desire a low-call cost, Zain customers will have the opportunity to make calls to a maximum of 10 friends for as low as N0.25k (25 kobo) per second from Monday through Friday (between 8.00pm and 5:59am) and for N0.21k (21 kobo) per second during weekends (from 4:30am through 12:29am)."

"In addition, customers on this tariff plan will enjoy free all-night calls daily up to 10 registered numbers from 12:30am to 4:29am," he said.

A statement from the public relations manager of Zain, Mr Emmanuel Otokhine, said: "The Tru Txt offer allows customers who love sending SMS enjoy a special low rate of N4.50 for every SMS sent to all Zain numbers on weekdays and N3 for every SMS sent during weekend.

"Customers on this package will also have access to all-night calls every day between 12:30am and 4:30am for up to 10 registered numbers," the statement said.

Moyo further explained that the launch of Tru Package will provide the GSM firm the opportunity to satisfy the yearnings of Nigerian youths and the young-at-heart, empowering them to fulfil their dreams.

"Tru Package" is designed for customers who desire more value for their voice calls and yearn for a cost-effective SMS service as a medium of self-expression. The package delivers greater benefits to customers than any other package in the market apart from offering the lowest SMS tariff in the Nigerian mobile landscape," he added.

To enjoy the service, Moyo said, "What phone users with Zain number need to do is to migrate to the Tru plan using a short code, *141*708#, to switch to the Tru Talk option and *141*709# to switch to Tru Txt option."

According to him, customers who want to enjoy the benefits of the package need to recharge their phone with a minimum of N100 and N50 for Tru Talk, and Tru Txt options respectively weekly.


"To register the numbers of friends or family members for the Tru Talk service, customers need to use the short code for registration: *141*2*Zain phone number#. The registration is free", the statement said.

u plle shld stop making things difficult all cos of no job.I finished all my credit calling busayo or whatever on how i shld go about the whole thing in Port HARCOURT after she texted me and yet till now it doesnt her to even call for a second or reply the last text i sent her after my credit finished.I reached their PH office and met very unfriendly security men who even after helping finish my credit talking with the busayo, still did not help me in any way to meet anybody for profiling as the busayo said. Busayo,this is to u,pls u shld know how to organise this kind of thing next time and not to waste people's time and credit.U work in a telecom company and yet i had to finish my entire credit on u without ur conscience touching u to call back someone that has been calling.Bye

why must the only available job these days be mostly commssion-based marketing? Why must companies need marketers yet are not able to motivate them well with a salary just as banks do? it get more annoying when u waste ur time and take their aptitude tests only to be told at the end that they do not pay salary,but commssion.Commission my foot!
