CultureRe: Who Are The Ancient Igbo People? by ckkris: 8:48am On May 31, 2013
Rossikk: The Igbos are descendants of the ancient Sumerians.
Were ancient Sumerians black? And how did they travel from the Middle-east to equatorial Africa?

EmperorOlu: Check my post and you will see how i protested against him.I am not an obasanjo fan but he was way better than Jonathan. Jonathan has taken us backwards instead of forward and corruption under him has become open and shameless. All i am saying here is that there are new kids on block .The OOdua Defence Force is an Armed Revolutionary Group that will fight for the secession of the OOdua Nation from Nigeria if Jonathan is relected as President. If Igbos want Jonathan to be their President ,they can have him.We Yorubas don't want him and don't need him.The Igbos and The naija delta can keep their oil ,we don't need it.What we need is freedom and the opportunity to elect credible honest and intelligent leaders who can make good use of all the resources available in Oodua land.

Unlike MEND and Boko Haram ,we will not attack innocent civilians ,we will only target politicians if need be and if the Nigerian Military chooses to get involved we will also engage them.We have a right to self determination and will not want to be led by Jonathan after 2015.This may seems like a bluff to many but come 2015 we will see what is happening.Ours is not an organisation of militants but a formidable force of highly trained tactical combatants with advanced weaponry and systems. We are well funded and our men are ready to die for the motherland. We have chosen to wait till 2015 to see how this all turns out but one thing that is certain is that Jonathan will not rule over Oodua beyond 2015.

But what's your point? Let it not be who's first or not. Its clear every town has been diminished since 16th-18th centuries.

This is interesting, especially about Adama and Ifikuanim.

Ilaje Omuro: How dare you compare Jonathan and Obama. The two not in any way close! I always laugh at your delusion when you compare this seemingly cursed country with America's. Whitemen may not be always right but they are bnot as crude as your folks here. They won't justify a flout of individual's right and describe it as politics. They won't rationalise intolerance and call it politics! They won't conduct an election of 35 voters and declare the man with 16 votes winner etc etc.
Really! They count ballots three times and their Supreme Court award unjustifiable victory to Republicans, that in turn award themselves unjustifiable defence contracts, and force everyone to pay tax to cover their fraud. Make I de write?

Aboki please don't derail this thread. Just go to Religion section.
abokine: Did I hear you say that Nigeria's major problem includes Islam? Well for your information with all the hate rate islam and muslims all over the world are facing yet the religion is the world's most growing religion. In the USA people keep poundring into islam same in europe and asia. So if you think islam is a problem then I say you better find a chair and seat to watch coz its not stopping until it dominates the world and no one is gonna force nobody to join. We muslims respect our religion so much that we do not seat and watch some one insulting it without protecting its dignity.
PoliticsRe: Akpabio, Rigger In Akwaibom, Rigger In Abuja by ckkris: 11:55am On May 30, 2013
Spiff20: Who told you akwa ibom people are returning to dere state? Dey ar here scattered all ova port harcourt doin carpentry nd resturant jobs, congesting our garden city nd making it dirty. How many industries ar in uyo, take a hike man
I am writing about people I know personally. It may be a trickle now, but Akpabio is making Akwa Ibom attractive. Do you still in doubt that Akwa Ibom is now attracting more non-Ibomites, especially as a result of consistent Govt efforts to improve infrastructure, and overall business environment?
PoliticsRe: 2015: Obasanjo Calls For Leadership Change by ckkris:
Gbawe: What is better than having the patience to see who is proven right? Even American analysts who do not live in Nigeria know more about how the Country is set up than the average Nigerian so what exactly is your point? When has domiciliary status alone ever qualified anyone to be an authoritative voice regarding the affairs of a nation?
Americans generally look down on people in order to steal from them to enhance their own lifestyle. Americans rigged George Bush twice into power. Nigerians also understand how to win election in Nigeria more than any American professor. You talk a lot of theories, but on election day you can't show your face in Bauchi, where Boko Haram will seize all ballot papers for Buhari. The way things stand TODAY Jona will win 2015, just like Obama won 2012 in spite of enormous distractions. Whitemen are not always right, especially in human relationships.

rooftech: which akwa ibom fraud state made by the press
Which press? Have you forgotten how Akpabio trounced Udoedeghe and his 70 SAN ACN Tinubu lawyers? You underestimate Akpabio at your own peril. And the man has appeared at the national stage, with a bang. A winner is a winner, anywhere, anytime. Just watch and see. Its exciting.

Does this Gbawe live in Nigeria? I wonder. If Gbawe lives in Nigeria and still writes the way he does, then Gbawe is naive, extremely naive.

This hilarious thread has been ruined by some miserable Londoner. Why can't they just come to Africa and steal beautiful diamonds, to put some smile on their faces for a change.

finebadtboy: I'm happy everyone now knows this man called Akpabio for who he is. who goes about town of his 'uncommon transformation'.
Akpabio is a winner, anywhere, anytime. Akwa Ibom people are now returning happily to their state that Akpabio has prepared for industrialisation. Uyo is now a destination for people from all over Nigeria, and beyond. Go to Akwa Ibom and see for yourself.

Let Obasanjo invest his own money in Jigawa State. Or who does Obasanjo want to deceive? If the State has good potential Return on Investment please let Obasanjo put his own money there.
Christianity EtcRe: Trinity: Why Is It Easier To Call Jesus God And Not The Holy Spirit by ckkris: 4:28pm On May 29, 2013
Jesus of Nazareth is the Almighty God. Jesus of Nazareth is the Word of God that became Flesh. The Word of God is Inside God, not outside of God. Trinity means ONE GOD, Deuternomy 6:4. The Hebrew word God is a plural Elohim. Thats why in Genesis 1:26 God, Elohim, plural, said let US make man in OUR image. Immediately in the next verse 27, God, Elohim, plural, created man in HIS own image, in the image of God created HE him. This is what Moses wrote by divine revelation. Anyone that claims to believe Moses, must believe this clear revelation that runs from Genesis to Revelation. This is what I believe, this is what I teach. Let the Most High, The One True God, be the Judge, in the victorious name of Jesus, Amen.
...huh??...swag in Nigeria??... wher the where Sun Glasses at Night? undecided
If the English people don't steal from around the world they would have started to death. From stealing from Spanish Galleons to looting India, Australia, South Africa, Ghanaian Gold, etc. Which Prime Minister's son was caught overthrowing an African Govt, in order to give himself oil wells? Enjoy electricity 24/7, but allow others to enjoy whatever they've got. Is anyone anywhere envious of England?

Godswill Akpabio is TRANSFORMING Akwa Ibom into modern, commercial, and industrial zone. People are generally upbeat, which is very important. Akpabio kind of sets the pace, the economy is picking up. Population is increasing in Uyo and environs The state is now attractive to investors. Before 2015 its possible for small businesses to begin to sprout up everywhere.
