Don't misunderstand me please. I commend His Excellency for the transformation of the state, even a blind man can see that and posterity will never forget that. The issue is his stand that no other aspirant should campaign in annang land. To me that is evil. If he is convinced that he has done well in Akwa Ibom, he shouldn't be afraid of opposition IMO

Babby.me
have u heard the latest. Those guys were hired-paid to burn down Ik while painting our beloved Gov black.
PoliticsRe: War In A’ibom • 5 Killed, Many Injured As Acn, Pdp Supporters Clash • Fuel Station, Houses, V by Clairette(f): 3:53pm On Mar 23, 2011
@Baby.me
I live in Uyo and i witnessed the crises live yesterday. It's not about GEJ, but Gov. Akpabio. He doesn't want other aspirant to campaign in his hometown and that is so not right. I witnessed the kind of chaos i've never seen yesterday,may God help Akwa Ibom and free us from Akpabio and his evil antics.

You sure prefer darkness. Akpabio has no evil antics. He's got the State at heart otherwise he wouldnt transformed d State within 3yrs. What else do u ask for
.Nt as i9f I'm supporting the uproar-however, what does anyone else(part from Akpabio) desire in Ikot Ekpene that was abandonned for over two decades?
Akpabio came in and in less than two yrs Ik. was transformed for better. Pls dont be biased, act n talk rightly.
PoliticsRe: Patience Jonathan: My Fellow Widows by Clairette(f): 8:27am On Mar 08, 2011
What we are looking for in Patience Jonathan is not her English but brains. There are people who speak little or no English yet they break grounds and deliver satisfaction.
Dame Patience Goodluck is simply innovative and very intelligent. If we have a woman president in this country with half of Dame Patience's
creativity, Nigeria would be a safer place.
Patience shows no pretense, she's real at all times. she's widely appreciated if you dont.
, stop criticizing her tongue, learn from her brains!

J'adore la langue francaise!! Et vous?

Mes amis de la langue francaise, Je voudrais savoir ;
Comment vous etiez appris la langue franciase, Si c'etait facile ou Difficile?
EducationRe: Where Can I Learn French? by Clairette(f):
My advice is for for you to buy a french-English dictionary, get some elementry/intermediate french books and video casset
Register at any of the french center(Alliance francaise) and learn french and use your dictionary and books for reference purposes.

Thereafter, spare your self one month, go to any of the french countries, In Togo u may not learn to express urself in french( i was there, they speak much of "fone" their local langauge).( Benin Republique is recommendable) and try as much as possible to put what u learnt into practice. My dear u can learn and know french langauge but without staying with people speaking the langauge u won't be able to express urself verbally, U can write but u'l lack verbal expression.

I'm a french graduate from UNICAL , i did my one year exchange program in Benin. 'm currently teaching french on Katsina State Television as a corps member(NYSC)

A Senator  collects #2,480,000 as basic monthly salary and still demands for Ghana -Must-Go, is it the policeman that collects #26,000 as monthly salary that will fight corruption?.

@ Londoner

I am guessing that these friends must live somewhere like Lagos??

-You can walk in Abuja 2am and noone harrasess you, its safe.
-If you lived in Calabar, would they be in a constant level of stress and alertness?
-people walk around in places like Abuja or Calabar all the time without fear of thieves or police.

Are these places not in Nigeriahuh

I can safely say that as someone living in London, I felt much safer walking the streets of Abuja alone, I never witnessed or even heard of much crime at all. You can walk safely in Jos (unless there is religious unrest ofcourse)

My boyfriend is Ghanaian and is in Ghana as we speak, he tells me of how he cant even go out at night because of armed robbers, he is not even in the capital city. He said the situation is very bad, he doesn't even want to stay in Ghana anymore. Yet, the people from Ivory coast who I met in Abuja, explained how safe Abuja was compared to Abidjan and how they marvelled at how people carried their phones visibly without getting robbed. They have lived there for five years!

Many Nigerians only know the city they grew up in (mainly Lagos), meanwhile people have been living peacefully in other parts of the country for years.
Did someone actually discuss Calabar wit u? I mean in wat sense r u defining SECURITY? I lived in Calabar for three yrs n Benin Republique for one yr. U dare not go on d street of Calabar wit ur hand-bag or call it "personal belongings" after d night has fallen. or travel into calabar late. I mean tell me what u'l be doing on Calabar Streets by 10/11pm that u'ld not be macheted for just a handset (even if it's a cheap Nokia phone).

Did i also tell u that armed robbers do visit UNICAL"s hostels as well as staff quarters?
Pls re-phrase your posting or u visit University of Calabar Teaching Hospital for clarifications of the state of Security in Calabar.
Neither Abuja nor Calabar is safe. If u're still in doubt----try a walk in Abuja n give me feedback.

My dear, even a Small country like Benin Republique is secured. I can remember i used to get back to my hostel @ 1am, 2 or even 3am in Benin Rep.

We're simply insecured in this 9ja
