MrBrownJay1:
again, i aint doubting that EVs in Nigeria is doable, i dont even doubt that some people are driving EVs in Nigeria today... i am solely saying THEY LIED TO US WHEN THEY TOLD US ELECTRIC IS BETTER FOR THE ENVIRONMENT and that EVs WILL BE CHEAPER TO RUN.

true but the power requirement to charge an EV car is too big for a powerbank to fulfill and only a big GENERATOR can charge an EV car... therefore check the cost of that and the cost of diesel that such generator would need.

so again, you have to look at whats the best economic move for Nigerians here and ask the important question: IS RUNNING A GENERATOR TO CHARGE A CAR or EVEN PAYING YOUR ELECTRIC BILL TO FAST CHARGE YOUR CAR (if there was constant electricity) CHEAPER THAN RUNNING A NORMAL CAR?
Okay.

No doubt, these are some of the possibilities for a developing country like Nigeria not to be able to make use of EVs. But the possibility is, just as filling stations is to petrol cars, Electricity stations is well available for EVs.

I think the world needs to re-evaluate how individual wealth is measured.

A man has a business idea, pitches it to venture capitalists and raises $200k in equity capital of 20%.

He sells 70% of his business in shares and raises another $700k.

The business is worth $1 million with founder owning 10% of the business or $100k.

He's called the world's richest man whereas he has only $100k out of the $1 million business value.
But thats not the only venture with that level of ownership.Musk is a genius. The analysis is true.

MrBrownJay1:
so the electricity that Nigerians can barely get, na that same electricity you want them to use for cars too? shouldnt you instead say that the gov should fix the power grids so that ALL Nigerian can enjoy electricity (at a decent rate) before remotely thinking that they should now start using power banks for cars too?
Okay.

Well, we all know that the government has been making lot of promises of creating constant electricity in Nigeria.
But so far it has not been possible.

It's not just me, Nigerians has been complaining about constant electricity. Multinational institutions has left Nigeria because of the high price of diesel.

The introduction of power banks is as a result of failure of constant electricity in developing nations including Nigeria.

If electricity should be the problem of making use of EV in Nigeria, then I believe power banks vehicles can still be introduced here in Nigeria.

Nothing is impossible, the dream is real.

MrBrownJay1:
you cant have an EV dream/future in a country where there isnt constant electricity... the electricity shortage of Nigeria must be sorted before anyone can remotely dream of having EV vehicles in Nigeria.

the electric dream has to be reviewed.... this is a bait and switch con, electric cars aint better for the environment.
Okay,
Electricity shouldn't be the problem.
It takes a little step to start a journey. The invention of phones and the massive usage of phone in Nigeria, means there is high possiblity that EV can be used here in Nigeria.

EV can make use of solar energy, and there is a good tendency that as we have power banks for our phones, provisions can be made to produce gadget that can save energy for the charging of these EV as Power banks are for phones.

It's very possible here in Nigeria. Nigeria should not be left behind.

The dream is real.

in country where constant electricity is NOT available, the above is a waste of time.

BTW if you check the price that people are paying today to fast charge an EV, then no wonder so many want to go back to using normal gas vehicle. in the real world, if you are fast charging your car today, it costs more than filling up your tank
Okay.

But How much did you pay charging your phone?

If is costly to charge EV, I believe with time it will be affordable. I don't remember paying huge amount of money to charge my phone. We need to develop. Nigerians should not be struggling because of this resources called oil.
AutosA Shift From Fuel Mobiled Vehicles To Complete Use Of Electric Cars In Nigeria by Clara16(op): 2:51pm On Sep 05, 2024
If the fuel price keeps going higher, why can't Nigeria move their attention to the importation of Electric cars. At least most of this cars are now in large quantities. We should shift our attention to the usage of electric cars. At least we will not again start complaining about the poor efforts of our government in making fuel cheep for Nigerians.

*Most times there wouldn't even be any need to lie, but I would just find myself lying up and down*

Recommendation:
Try not to talk too much. The moment you allow yourself to talk to much, you see yourself saying things you don't want to say.

Proverbs 10:19 (NIV) addresses the topic of talking too much:

"In the multitude of words, sin is not lacking, But he who restrains his lips is wise."

Leave politics out of this. Your economy is falling. There is nothing in production, inflation, all attributed to poor management of the economy.

I want to believe Mr president knows what he is doing but allowing foreign companies exit is no good thing for the way the country is now.

Policies should be put in place to create a conducive environment for foreign investments to thrive.

If we keep playing politics and allow ethnicity to blur sound judgement then we may not move forward as a nation.

Call upon God.

Believe me, years back when I was in school, I had the same issue.

At first I thought it has to do with my reading plan and how I read.

But I discovered that in life is not about how much you study, but only the grace of God.

Build a relationship with God, pray and study and read your Bible.

Take God first, and study your books.

On the exam day, don't cheat.

Before the exam day let God know that you are everything to Him.

Believe me, it worked for me and am glad to see the goodness of God, in the land of the living.🙂

Arsenal and England sensation Bukayo Saka has revealed he was close to playing for Nigeria ahead of England as he get set to round up his visit to Nigeria.

Saka is presently in Lagos as part of his holidays following the ned of the season in England, he has been soaking in the moment in Nigeria’s commercial capital and has also visited lots of orphanages to give support.

In one of the orphanages he visited, the 21 year old was asked by a staff of the organization why he decided to pick the English national team ahead of the senior national team of Nigeria.

‘I will tell you this. I was very close to playing for one of the youth teams in 2019. It was the wish of my father but things happen and you have to live with your decisions. I feel very much Nigerian and nothing can change that,’ he told OwnGoalNigeria.com.

Our contact also revealed he is likely to meet with the newly sworn in president of Nigeria Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Abuja before the end of his holiday in Nigeria.

‘A visit to the president is on their list but I don’t know if it will be possible. He looks quite a lovely lad and shy. At the orphanage we couldn’t believe who was next to us. So humble and down to earth’, staff of the orphanage home stated.

The earlier we realise the spiritual and physical effects the better for us.

The society may have blindly made us believe nothing wrong with it, but truth be told it is evil and can destroy it's victims.
