I wouldnt advice any PCM to touch osun with a ten-foot-pole, at this point i rest my case.. Goodluck! i'm from the south-south part of the country.

thank u very much sir for u contribution, this will really in a long way in helping some pcm(s) here in graceland. And this lack of industries in some states practically renders the state irrelevand dormant. I heard the governor is responsible for the lack of payment of state's allawee. The voodooism aspect of the whole issue is practically everywhere i guess.

Trust me, all what i have said regarding the state r true, i wasnt biased with my assertions.. Just so u knw, nothin is cheap in ife central except for transportation obviously, i mean within the metropolis.. Accomodation aint cheap in ife central where u hv abt 3 tertiary institutions, if it happens u gt a cheap apartment then it is for sure a cesspool.. As for food stuffs, dt aint cheap mehn.. The only stuff i cn say is cheap are fingers of plantain buh na only plaintain u wan dy chop ? The state of power supply in ife generally is crap except one stays close to oau where they dnt hv dt much of an erratic power supply.. For the record, jst dont choose d state nt dt i hv rancour for the state or any personal vendetta against the ppl or something buh i am jst been realistic, nt dt i knw ur preferences tho..

I am currently serving in osun. For what its worth, when the time comes for you to choose states for service year, just dont choose osun.. Reason being that nothing is clearly working out in the state.. Mind you i am actually referring to the major cities in the state most especially ile-ife (ife central) to be precise.. Cost of securing accomodation is on the high side especially if the janitor in charge gets to figure out you are a corp member; furthermore, 90% of corp members take up teaching jobs which invariably shows that there r no industries neither are there companies in the state, no state alawee for serving corp member.. To cap it all up, voodoo is the order of the day in the state.

for some time now i have been considering the state that will be suitable for service. Suitable in the sense of weather condition, way of life, productivity, and possibility of opportunity. After considering these factor coupled with my little research online, ogun state then seemed to be topping my list. Why am i writting this long epistle self? Ok! i stumbled on a post listing the best states to serve in 2016. The states were:
1. Lagos
2. Ogun
3. Plateau
4. Akwa ibom
5. Enugu
6. Rivers
7. Cross river
8. Osun
9. Niger.
Yes, the list looked cool right? But what is plateau doing up there cos its the only unusual state listed. So i'll like to know whats your take considering these states. Where is kano self?

You should discard osun from the list.. Osun is one of the worst states for service year..

Accommodation very cheap, electricity- i'm still looking 4 a state in naija dat has more stable electricity than osun, state govt promise 2 pay 5k @d end of service year. Indigenes are accomodating bt most are Muslim sha. So I think osun is very cool(low cost of living) things cheap die esp food(plantain na excess)

For crying out loud, Be sincere with these people.. Nothing is cheap in osun state except one is being posted to one of those remote areas which is an alternative no one wld opt for.. And as for the state alawance #ForgetAboutEverGettingPaid#..
