One word 'Yes' it can be used in Nigeria if its a 4G Verizon device but will be limited to 2G/3G, no LTE.

It's important we clarify what is posted here so some innocent people won't be misled by your earlier hazy conclusions, thinking that "Verizon is a global network provider" and as such all Verizon phones will work in Nigeria. You also mentioned that 4G Lte will work here in Nigeria whereas Verizon never unlocks 4G Lte on their devices on global mode. Don't you think so?

Verizon is a global network provider; which means whilst their phones were made for use in USA, they can actually be used outside the USA just like any other phone without any need to unlock . . . Just slot your SIM Card, go to settings and choose Global Mode . .
then you can choose between EDGE 3G or 4G normally as the case maybe. .
Wireless Band : Network: LTE, Global Network: EDGE/GSM (850/900/1800/1900), HSPA/UMTS(850/900/1900/2100.

You're right in your statements but Verizon is not a global network provider. Verizon's devices are global phones. Verizon's devices are CDMA locked to Verizon but GSM global ready/factory unlocked because the FCC gave them some conditions before granting it the present 4G license. One of those conditions was that their devices will be unlocked for int'l use. the implication of this is that if you purchase a 3G Verizon phone it won't work on Nigerian GSM network because it will be purely a CDMA phone and not a global phone.

my dear, i am not a lawyer and i need not be one to know that he who presides over a case, or chairpersons a panel can influence the decision of the panel. they call decisions of such people "lead judgment". (as a lawyer u shouod know). other judges may have dissenting views nonetheless. besides, a corrupt judge on a panel raises questions on the credibility of the panel. all he needs to do is to sway the others, with whatever material things he was swayed with. we know how it works. we Nigerians are not foolish.

as noted earlier, this same judge presided over similar decisions where justice was obviously crushed. is it not obvious? one neednt be a soothsayer to see that justice and honor are alien to this judge.

Decisions are reached by majority opinion/judgment out of five judges sitting on the panel. Our of these majority opinion, there's usually a lead judgment. So, can sit on the panel and still give a dissenting opinion in theory. However in practice, interested parties write these judgments and send to the judges to deliver, you may not agree but that's what's obtainable. A typical example is the issue of 2/3 of 19 states, the judge who have that judgment never participated in writing that judgment. Again, I don't expect anyone to agree with this view.

There are lots of reasons OP, not just the MediaTek factor. Note that MediaTek is just another SOC manufacturer. Couple of years ago, IDC said the impact of upstart Chinese players in the global smartphone market will be reflected in a race to the bottom when it comes to price.

Experience is the best teacher, but it is better to learn from other people’s experience. I hope people learn from my experience.

This is not justice because there was/is a subsisting wrong against goldtooth which is left without a remedy. The sum that was paid to goldtooth was/is his rightful funds. I followed this case silently ever since the issue came up and Mikky's attitude to this issue was appaulling. If were Mikky, I'd publish a one page unalloyed apology for goldtooth, though he deserved more than that. But dragnet has done well, I think he and others are limited in some way though.
