Good afternoon. I want sincere advise . I got a US visa in 2016, I have used it twice . My family also applied and got it . We were to travel together last year December but my visa wasn’t renew . I was given a 21g letter for further interview . I was unable to see available date within the period . My family went alone and has since come back to Nigeria . I will be attending the interview by May 2019 . My question is this , the date I filled in the ds-160 I submitted has passed (December 2018) , will I give them another date for traveling if asked ? Anyone with similar experience can please guide me . Thanks

Good evening house , am new on this thread . I need help consigning my profile . I have bsc in electrical electronics with more than ten year experience with a reputable company . I had 2/2 at my undergraduate level . The issue I have is that most school I applied to in Canada didn’t give me admission saying my cgpa is below their standard . Am contemplating on these three things ;
1. Can I apply to college for advanced diploma?
2. Can I apply to start another undergraduate program
3. Can I get a university that can offer me admission with my 2.75/5.0 cgpa . I will be glad if I can be guided .

For Evaluation of Degrees - ECA for immigration is what you need

The main idea is to get the right body to correctly evaluate your degree to give a Canadian Educational Equivalence.

Apart from Doctors (MCC Pharmacist (PEBC).

Any of the other Bodies Accepted by CIC
WES, ICES,IQAS, ICAS, CEC can evaluate all other degrees however wisdom is profitable to direct
NB: Only WES evaluates Professional Certifications like ACCA, CIPM, ATS AAT...

ICAN itself is not equivalent to Any Canadian Educational degree for now so don't bother

That being said experience has helped to build knowledge base that not all these bodies evaluate degrees the same way.

Also considering speed and required documentations these are the recommendations.

Lawyers - use IQAS ( they would clearly state your LLB is equivalent to a professional degree which is same as Masters)

Nurses - RN and RPN, RM, and other post basic degree - use IQAS or ICAS to get 2 or more Certificates) IQAS faster

According to CIC you only need to evaluate your highest degree

PhD and MSC and Bsc - Only PHd

If you have BSC and MSC - only MSC

This rule does not apply if PGD is your highest qualification.

If you have Bsc and PGD evaluate both to get 2 or More Certificates.

ND and HND or NCE and HND - evaluate both

For all other degree you can use either of the ICES, WES, ICAS, IQAS or CEC...

If you are evaluating only foreign degrees - WES is your go to body.

Once a Nigerian degree is involved WAEC is a must (WAEC processes is pretty simple so nothing to worry about ensure to send a new scratch card)

ICES is fastest for now 4-6 - they don't need WAEC, your school can send transcript to them by official email and they don't reverify with your school like WES.

ICES evaluates each degree at $200 CAD unlike WES nonetheless[b] I recommend[/b] them even if you have 2 degrees to evaluate (cheaper on the long run I tell you)

NB: ICES do not send soft copy ECA - so i advice you use a US, UK or Canada address for delivery and get it scanned to you. NIPOSt are trying but docs still get missing in transit - or request for courier delivery

But yesterday he was sent a mail from no-reply@ustravelsdocs.com quoting his name and passport no that "your document(s) have been collected from US embassy / consulate. The passport number been returned is ....... You have chosen to have your documents delivered to the following address; " The passport no was also tracked with DHL and was showing that it is available for collection at the designated place. The question now is this,
could this be a mistake or what ? his passport was never taken on the day he had the interview and was never requested to bring the passport . i wish to be enlightened on what is happening . Thanks

. thanks for the response . I tracked it and discovered it has got to the DHL office . but my wife has collected for her own and her first son passport with the white paper . How do will collect the last one without the whit sheet given at the embassy ? I will appreciate your response

Good afternoon. My wife and my two sons attended interview on November 30th . Their visa were granted . My wife passport and my first son was returned but my second son passport was tracked to still be at the embassy . We are to travel by December 20, please how can we go about getting the last passport or how long does it take to return the passport since it is a group interview.
