I will got to be know that the guy register on Facebook as Bukola Francis but there is no enough information about him THERE. I also got to know that he had done it to others before. There was a complaint posted on Feb. 6 about that same number.

What we can do now is to copy the Op post, add the phone number as well as the bbm. Post it in all groups on WhatsApp as well as Facebook so that we can make the number known to people. We should also encourage people to call the guy so that he can feel the heat

This reminded me of ogakpatakpata Dubai scam back den, I was a major actor on the thread den.....we did everything possible for the lady to get her mine back. I never thought I cld fall so easily. Fraudsters everywhere. I just thank God the money is not big like the lady in ogakpatakpata scam. Till today his name and picture is on google as a criminal.

Take his number to MTN customer care and the police station. They'll trace him using the sim registration details he provided. He must have done his BVN too, they can lure him via his bank. You can get justice if you want it.

Op, if you saved ur WhatsApp conversation and transfer u made to him, and if you brought this to our notice to bring this scammer down, then Police or EFCC needs some information. Send the details of the event to them, also send to Linda Ikeji, She will publish and security operatives do read her site.

These security operatives will simply contact MTN and info will be handed over for the guy to be apprehended.

Sometimes we actually suspect fraud but somehow, we want to give d oda individuals the benefit of doubt. But somehow dey show d evil side of dem. I'm very sure op is bigger Dan 3k....when bad things start happening to some people dey begin to run up and down looking for miracles in churches.

The situation you found yourself was a perfection one to take advantage of the www. You're totally in order. Instead, the cheap scam artist should look down on himself for sacrificing his online reputation for trifles. Please, is the scam artist on NL? Is kay his Nairaland username? Thank you for caring enough to report this, but kindly provide more info, let's help spread the word to discourage such useless trash. There are so many ways to make money than scams. Honestly, scam is now the more costly option online. Even if you go with monikers, eventually people trace you by other ways (like IP, phone contact, bank information, etc) and your online reputation is ruined for life. The bottom line is: you can't really be successful online by way of scam.
