There are certain selling skills that must be applied during a sales process, you can find these in free online courses and related blogs and articles. If the OP hones his skills very well, FMCGs will be running after him to hire him. I have consulted for 3 big FMCG companies so I know they are always on the lookout for good salespeople.

If MTN decides to move out, that wont be the end of it. They have 19 other countries where they operate. Instead of Mtn making a profit of $100, they would make $63, thats still significant. At the end of all this, Nigeria will be the looser than MTN, mtn will continue printing money in other countries whereas Nigeria will be left with a tag of "Investors unfriendly". In a country that needs a massive FDI to pull its poor population out of poverty, you dont become that harsh. All the potential investors are watching this, who is gonna risk their hard earned cash and invest it in an envirinment where there is no save gaurantees of their investments. It would be like throwing money into a bottonless pit. As it stands, its a slippery slope for nigeria, with crude oil price at its lowest, poverty at doorstep.

Naspers multichoice DStv is just a small business compare to the rest of Naspers businesses. So if nigeria forces DStv to pull out, it wont be felt by naspers $100billion Businesses, DStv only makes up 7% of naspers profit in the entire continent, so nigeria probably makes 1% of that. Once you start chasing investors away, the country suffers, ask Zimbabwe.

Went for 2 interviews for marketing posts today and I did well in the test and interview but the pay and condition seems ridiculous.

Company A said my basic salary will be between 25k and 35k and also commission on whatever customers I bring in but the worst part is I have to sign a year BOND with them and should in case I wann leave before one year, my guarantors will pay whatever is left to be met on my target...

Company B said my basic salary will be between 20k and 25k and also commission on sales or deals I get for the company... This one has no clause of BOND.

Tfare to either one I choose is btw 200 and 300 daily and I will be living in a place where I'd have to be feeding myself.

Please advise me on whether to wait for better opportunities or take one of the two offers.

What I'm about to share with you today is a true life story. This did not happen to anyone else but me.

I am the kind of person that thinks the beat way to get at you if I'm offended is to keep malice with you especially when I am accused unjustly or what someone did to me pains me deeply.

I use to keep malice sometimes for as long as 8 months even with my family members that live under the same roof with me, my mum and dad usually try to intervene but my stubbornness will not allow me to listen. 8months old malice is nothing compared to the one that happened recently where I kept malice with my elder sister for 3 good years. Alot of people intervened but I was stupidly stubborn but somehow we met in a family function and we settled. Lemme not forget to add that during that 3 year period I also kept malice with a friend for close to 6 months, thank God I also settled with him few weeks after I settled with my sister.

The disadvantages I noticed includes

1. Close doors...within that period of malice it was as if all doors were shut against me. It was obvious God was angry with me because I cldnt point to at least one blessing from God xcept keeping me alive, I am this kind of person that receives blessings of different manners, gifts, job and all that. All this stopped during this time.

2. High blood pressure.......somehow as young as I am I already ve a high blood pressure, different doctors observed it and asked me if there is anything bothering me but I pretended as if nothing but deep on the inside I know the cause. You can never keep malice and have a good blood pressure.

3. Prayerlessness creep in.......i noticed during this period I stopped or found it difficult to commune with my heavenly father, I just found no reason to pray.

4. Increase rate at which you carry out other bad habits.......I discovered I started doing things with impunity I found nothing bad in doing dem.

Somehow, I have prayed ernestly to the most high God, it was an honest and sincere prayer and thank God I'm a changed man today and again the heavens have opened up to me again because his blessings have being countless ever since. I have a big testimony coming.......i will definitely share it here.
