That's what some peers said and they spent 12 years in medical school
I know what you are talking about.
Let me explain to you.
Those folks entered when there was no accreditation(kind of a gamble), because by then it was easy to enter due to less competition. So during their final exams when they were to receive full accreditation, they failed it(the accreditation process) and had to wait till the next routine accreditation exercise(which is in five years), thereby making them spend eleven years instead of 6. But they got full accreditation now.

Noted fellow.
#Team mbbs

I still recommend you surf the school info website to see it your self. Also take note that some websites on the search engine like google are yet to be updated
What you see or hear, doesn't matter. The only valid info is what you see on the official MDCN website

Imo state university is not accredited for medicine but is on your list of accredited schools. Don't you think that website is fake? Or outdated? For the record, I am from imo state.

Bro changing your school is quite okay as long as you can ace their postutme or meet the school special pre requisite requirement.
One crazy things about we aspirant is that we tends to have a taste of choosing a school that is very competitive and has large applicants attached to small alloted quota of theirs when pursing mbbs. Know your strength and weakness, don`t choose a school because your friend choose and this has done many aspirant more harm than good. My point here is that you should be wise, change to a school that you can easily beat their department merit cut off mark or it previous.
Thanks man.

Bro irrespective that AE FUNAI is a new school it has gotten its full accreditation from the Mdcn and Nuc. Do your research well.
I don't talk blindly, Attached below is the list of all accredited medical schools as at March 2022,
gotten from the MDCN website. AE FUNAI is not even among the partially accredited schools.

You have to look at your options bro. Seems like you're beginning to grow cold feet concerning UNIPORT. I don't really know much about their PUTME, but if you're certain you can ace it, why don't you give it a try? Just believe in yourself and start earnest prepping soonest. If I recall rightly, you had 300+, all you need to aim for is 85 and you're in.

On RSU, if you have no issues with paying their school fees which I suppose should be more expensive than UNIPORT's, no qualms then. At this point, I guess you've got to make the decision. My advice is: sit for UNIPORT's PUTME first if it comes earlier than RSU's, and pray it does. Aim for the best, solve their PQs and link up with other aspirants and seniors (Donpre and Chukwukapromise are in already). I understand some scary talks and 'what ifs' are beginning to get to you (been there before). But just give UNIPORT all your shots and get in. RSU or some other school could be a plan B if otherwise happens and I pray it won't. Finally, commit it all to God. Tell Him to crown your efforts with success. Believe deep down that He owns your school of choice and He definitely cannot fail to pave way for His own son. Dunno if you're following, I don't mean to preach to you. There sure is enough time to prepare adequately for the PUTME. Please play your part and you will have the last laugh

Just my piece of advice to a brother in need.
~Impossibility is Nothing
Thank you brother. Appreciate this.

Bro i choosed Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu Alike Ikwo (AE-FUNAI) in Ebonyi state Though for aspirant to be eligible to write post utme in the school, such person must have scored up to 250 and above in jamb examination. Nah one mark spoil everything for me.

The federal university in my state (unizik) their departmental merit cut off mark seems to be in the range of 310.5 ..thats why i didnt choose it
AE FUNAI is not even accredited for Medicine.

Partial accreditation means that they have passed the full Accreditation for preclinical studies. They are yet to pass the accreditation for Clinical studies. It's either they tried and failed or the accreditation team is yet to visit the school. It takes years + stages to get full accreditation. It comes only after the first set of medics have graduated successfully.
Thanks for vivid explanation. Appreciate it.

Chairman pls I'm confused ooh, I mean when you checked with the SMS via UTMERESULT you had 296 now you went to print original jamb results you saw 242 how come?....has anyone also experienced this anomaly from jamb?
No, read his post again, he said someone checked for him.
The person probably lied to him. And again the guy requested for 500 naira for an sms that cost 50 naira. Sounds like a crook to me.

Amen...thank u sir.pls do u know what month the post utme exam might be?
As you know, federal universities are on strike, so you can expect the post utme 1-2 months after the strike is called off.

Thanks sir.. pls like what should i target in the post utme
You were the one on the JAMB thread, sorry bro.
I don't really know much about their post utme, but if they go on a scale of 400, then you should aim for 300-320, and if they go on a scale of 50 then 40-45 should be your target.
God bless you.

So i decided to go print the original result since the score was nice....to my greatest surprise my expected 296 was reduced by 54 marks...i saw 242 i refused to believe it was my result...after i've been celebrated by alot of people for the initial 296...i'm currently down my depression...i thought about changing my course to Med lab or Pharmacy, but i'm afraid i don't have the passion for any of those...pls someone should help me, can 242 get medicine in unical? and what score should i aim at in the post utme pls...MY ADVICE TO EVERYONE IS: look before you leap..
I feel your pain bro. But my advice to you is that Great men don't sulk in the face of adversity, they pick themselves up and go with everything in them. Dust your books and start reading ferociously for the post utme. I believe you will make it.
God bless you.

Pls unical medics can 242 earn me a spot in unical medicine and surgery and pls i want to know about their post utme subjects.thanks
Not a unical medic, but with 242 your chances are quite low, unless you can pull off a very high score in the post utme

It was actually ABSU Medical college that lost accreditation and wont admit students this year.

Hello everyone!

Is it true that Uniport Medicine has lost accreditation?
Not true
MDCN Only asked them to apply for re-accreditation of UPTH because it has elapsed.
Also they were not the only ones affected.
But the medical college didn't lose accreditation

To tell you the truth, there is nothing like uniport past questions, from what I heard the questions are jamb standard, so Jamb past questions are your go-to materials and your texts also.
God bless you.

Trying to figure why "??large vaginal tears" would kill the lady. The best that may happen should be abrasions due to poor lubrication. Abrasions are superficial lesions. No major bleeders expected here.

Even if they used objects to amplify their sexual stimulation, this is still unlikely.

Even terrible bleeders from episiotomies are well controlled and there's no haemodynamic compromise.

Medically speaking, this story is unlikely to be true.

Medically speaking, this story may not be true.
