RenegadeX: I know all the tenets and principles of being a Priest And yet, I’m no priest
Can you see how silly you sound now? Get something better to do with your time Rather than scurrying around this thread trying to discourage persons who have a genuine passion to leave the world a better place than they met it Peace. |

RenegadeX: And who told you I’m not focusing on my life. Why should I be bitter? Because I’m not studying medicine? There’s more to life than medicine and surgery. The founder of this thread is not practicing hope you know that and I know many that have left practice and gone into something else.
To me medicine should be for spiritual people that really value the lives of humans with the fear of God. A doctor should be humble, attentive, not hedonistic, not materialistic, not given to lust, honest and not fraudulent. A doctor should be a father or mother to the fatherless or motherless, must be empathetic, must be able to control anger and utterances. How many of you are these? Mstcheew I want to save lives, I want to save lives if they see the live now to save they will be behaving lackadaisically. Abeg o You know all these You know all the tenets and principles of being a doctor And yet, you are no doctor Your obsession with this profession is very interesting |

Lordsagna: It's like unilag ain't forthcoming anymore .. same thing repeat itself over and over again, making me seeing myself as a failure. seeing people younger than me in medical school while I'm still here makes me sad .This time is gonna be different indeed, I need a federal institution that doesn't requires much Olevel with low tuition fees excluding UI . Please recommend schools for me please. I'm just frustrated here in engineering I empathize with you brother. I know this feeling. I have been noticing you for a while on this forum, and you have been hitting good scores. Your only issue has been from the schools you chose. I will recommend UNIPORT to you. I would have recommended my school, but you mentioned low tuition, so UNIPORT it is. With a JAMB score of 280+, and a similar performance in post UTME, your admission is guaranteed to an extent, and just like someone highlighted above, there's maths in the post UTME, so prepare appropriately. I wish you the best of luck and the grace of God. May your heart desires be fulfilled. Amen. |

RuyiMedicDiary: It depends on what level you are in.
My advice is to refrain from thinking about the number of hours you're supposed to be studying because you can study for 10hours and you've studied only one page.
I'll rather advice that you focus on the number of topics that should be covered in a day.
Let your study schedule be "workload-based" and not "time-based". Make I use this one hold body Thank you Jemy |

Froshchuksswart: This DENTISTRY/MEDICINE degree is it really worth it..? This is the second person I'm seeing live failing the 2nd MB exam resit, repeat and taking jamb again, waste of 5 years wtf..! Getting to 3rd year they fail and resit, repeat(another 1 year) fail again and they still go ahead to rewrite jamb nawa ooo, this is the second person I'm seeing doing this in UNN God Abeg It's not really a matter of the MBBS/BDS degree being worth it or not. It is a matter of passion, conviction and fulfillment. |

Ruggedfighter: My guy, this is quite insensitive, don't you think?. You don't know the amount of frustration that made this guy bring it here. I believe there are graduates who still come here once in a while to check this thread. Dr Lagust.a do come here when he's mentioned, so I don't think it's a bad thing to bring it here. He may have felt he could get help here considering the calibre of men we have here. Help can come from experience too. Plus, I don't really see the difference between the advise gotten from a doctor online and the one gotten from a doctor in the hospital, so long it's the correct advise. For a man not be having erection, it's a very big deal for him and that could make him seek help anywhere.
@Ecoxix, like someone said, the main causes of erectile dysfunction among teens/youth as I have learnt are mainly from pórn addiction, masturbation and too much sugar intake. If you masturbate, stop it. Avoid porn too and cut down your sugar intake drastically. While on that, do exercises, trust me, you'll be fine. Okay Chief #Peace. |

Derasab: Please does anyone know about Eko university of medical sciences?
It seems all private universities have a lock-in policy and specific dress and lifestyle code. Eko University of medical sciences is a newly established specialized Medical university. It was recently given partial approval by the MDCN for MBBS. Yes, it seems so, almost all the Private universities I know of have a rigid dress code and strict laws. E.g some private universities don't allow students to use private cars on campus. |
