I don't mean to resurrect a forgotten thread but I wanted to ask if you can still get a U.S bank account via payoneer which can be used to open a U.S paypal. thanks |
What is there to honour in this woman please? Indecency has become a norm. |
Oh ok, thanks man AleAirHub: |
Hey AleAirHub, I'm new to importing from china, all I know is importing from the U.S. I will be in Guangzhou next month for the Canton Fair and this will be my first time visiting China... I was wondering if you can share any tips and also arrange to meet with u over there, thanks. |
Do whatever you can to stay as healthy as you can because the health care system in Nigeria is nothing but a death trap. A country where you have to buy fuel to power the generators for your newly born infant in need of 24hrs incubators. Just terrible. |
Anything to promote a movie. |
arbitrage:Pls what is a Till? Also, do u know the moneygram limits for sending money to the U.S? Someone tried to send me money viaoney gram today and Stanbic bank said they no longer send money out of the country. This person went to about 3 other money gram branches and they all said they don't send money, she finally went to an access bank money gram branch and was told she can only send $1000 every 3 months. But when I checked the money gram website it said the limit is $10,000. However when I called their 1800 number I was told the limit is $1,000 a day. I'm just tired of the different misinformation. |

Seems like your child is a kleptomaniac. You can give him the world and he would still pilfer from others. He needs rehab. |

He has nothing to worry about, his pot belly will keep him afloat. |
proudceramic:You will be limited by the $300 daily ATM withdrawal limit plus you might pay a small ATM fee. |
No Statute of Limitation for murder, even 80yrs from now you can still be arrested and charged. |
Smart guy, I guess he left before Buhari could sack him. Most custom officers are corrupt anyway. |
These criminals don't like being served a dose of their own medicine. They use charms for defense and cry foul when the authorities use it against them. Heck even the U.S law enforcement use psychics during hideous murder crimes to talk to the dead in gathering the details of their killers. Fact. |
Where are the Sahara Reporters when you need them? |
Lord save our youth, nobody wants to work for anything anymore, everyone wants fast money. |
Ymodulus:I saw this pic from one of your posts. Still slightly cheaper than using bank wire transfer if you are only sending less than $5,000 at once. Anything over $5,000 is worth sending via bank wire transfer, but that also depends on the bank's rates Or you can just send the amounts in pieces, just do your math. Pls can we also provide updates for western union and money gram so we have different options to pick and compare. I searched on money gram's website and it says N199.9/$ but Ymodulus said they charged N203/$. I don't know if this depends on the branch or if the online exchange rate is slightly lower, pls daily real life updates on WU & MG will be highly appreciated. God will bless our hustle.

bukahands:Western Union Exchange rate as of today, 1USD = 197.3NGN. I just called First bank and they broke down the Western Union charges. The call center lady spoke too fast when giving the different charges based on the amount to be sent. But I remember her saying they charge N16,000 for N150,000 to maybe 300,000(not sure about this one). And the limit is $5,000 per day, however you cannot send cash due to the restrictions but you can send from your bank account. So I guess you just have to deposit the money into your account and send it. But is this exchange fair? So lets say you want to send/buy $1000, it will cost you ($1000 X N197.3) + N16,000 = N213,300. When you divide it by 1000, its like you bought dollar at the exchange rate of 213.3/$. I guess its slightly cheaper than using Using Stanbic to send via paypal. If you were to send $1000 via paypal linked to stanbic account at the current rate of N214/$ it will cost you $1000 X 5% X N214 = N224,700 or N224.7/$. This whole dollar naira dilemma has made some of us become mathematicians. Pls correct my calculations if you see errors cuz i'm not very good in maths. |

USAutoBuy:Obviously you don't see the sarcasm in my post so let me spell it out for you. You expect someone to deposit U.S dollars into your account while you pay in Naira. Like I said in my previous post, what assurance is there that you would deposit the naira equivalent into the person's account? Oh you expect total strangers to entrust you with their hard earned money because you are what? Oh maybe you will tell us how you've been a member of nairaland for the past 9yrs and so what?? When did becoming a faceless member of any site equate to authenticity or credibility? I viewed your topic because I was curious and was thinking you offer a service I would use since I remit money frequently to Nigeria only for it to turn out to be a very risky proposition. Now the same thing can be said about the seller, what makes you sure he or she would not run off with your money? You said you will give the money to a banker blah blah blah, I don't know any American bankers who would subscribe to this as they wouldn't want to be held responsible. Now if you listed your addresses both in the U.S and Nigeria or assured us that you will meet in person for a face to face transaction in real time, then I will take you serious. But you want someone to blindly send you money and hope you do the same in good faith, imagine someone sending you a total stranger a wire transfer for $10,000 into your bank of America account knowing very well most wire transfers are nonrefundable and hoping you reciprocate. You know what, I want to sell $10,000 at the price of N220/$ which will be deposited to my GTB account only on one condition, you send me the naira equivalent first. |
USAutoBuy:You want the person to wait in the bank after depositing the money into your account for what? Can it be reversed after being deposited into your account? If so, what if the person decides to reverse it anyway after u've deposited into their Nigerian account, I don't get this control mechanism. If u guys are serious, u both deposit into my accounts, the person in Nigeria can deposit into my Nigerian account while the person in the U.s can deposit into my U.S account; I will serve as an Escrow and charge u two just 3% of total funds transferred. Will then transfer the funds to your accounts. |
mavinc4u:Pls can you confirm this? Have u been able to link ur Nigerian bank account to U.S PayPal? |
