No venom involved here. Pythons are not venomous snakes, they are constrictor, that is they wrap themselves around their prey and squeeze them to death. It's so wonderful that this process might take hours because they'll never commence feeding until the prey's heart stops beating.

pythons don't have venoms.. They tend to coil round their prey and choke it to death before swallowing it whole.. Though their Is 80percent chance the dog will die from internal injuries such as broken bones, ribs and damage to the lungs.

This reminds me of the snake that swallowed a whole goat last week. There's a good chance this dog was being curious poking the snake or trying to play with it before being paralyzed by venom. It's going to die a slow and painful death if the venom isn't removed immediately.

I met this young man when i was 21 and he was 24 we dated 4 years, we were both struggling, we stayed with each other and help each other to grow.

I told him that will not be a good idea, going from Mowe to Victoria Island everyday will be terrible for me since we can afford a house in Lagos at least for now or we stay where he is staying currently, he maintained he cant change, we could not reach an agreement on that, the next thing i got a shocker, he traveled for event outside Lagos to the east, where he comes from, only to get attracted to a girl he met there and came boldly to tell me, if i cannot marry him and stay at mowe, there are so many good girls who will rush the offer and in annoyance i told him, have you found one please marry her.

To my surprise few days after i saw a photo of him and that girl he just met, less than two months all over social media, he has engaged her.

Initially i was pained, but let's face it he doesn't deserve my tears, his groups of friends started calling my line to ask when we stopped dating since we still stepped out recently to his friend birthday.

I didnt know what to say i asked them to ask him, things went that way and i started hurting, after he did official intro to the girl i knew it was over, i called him and told him i wish him happiness and best of luck with his wife to be.

He felt bad but said he knew i was a good person that he is not shocked i called, i ask him to keep me updated on wedding plans and he did and i told him i will attend he said he will be grateful.

On the wedding day, during the reception i showed up, i had gone to get a very flattering dress, i even paid for make up, i looked so beautiful i couldn't believe myself too

When i entered the room everybody went crazy, all his friends and associate knew me, some are even pained at what he did to me, i showed up all his friends rushed to greet me, it took over 30 minutes to cheek kiss all of them and hug a few, the few people who didn't know me was wondering who i was and why i am so beautiful

I went up to greet him, he almost fell down from where he was standing, i greeted his wife ( a village girl from akwa ibom lol - the way she pronounce the thanks for coming though )

I started catching fun and dancing crazy, my ex couldn't stand it anymore, he ask his wife to go inside the car only him came to greet his guys where i was seated, THEN BROKE DOWN IN TEARS

At that point he left and i continue hanging out with his friends before oping into my car to go home. He sent a touching sms yesterday.

Ladies should emulate this woman, it's not acceptable to neglect your body after getting married. If you can afford gym membership, start working out in the gym. If you cannot afford gym membership, buy a small dumbell or do crunches every morning, also do push-ups, go out and run for at least 30 minutes every other day. Don't just gain weight then get mad when your man stares are fit women.

America chose not to participate in world War 2 because it wasn't their war. They were reluctantly invited into the war when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. They formed an Alliance with the so called "alied forces" to defeat the "Axis Powers" (ie Italy, Germany and France).

You sound silly when you say America hides behind nukes. Read about the Normandy Invasion also known as " D day." The Allied forces led by the Americans invaded France and defeated them during WW2. There's a reason the U.S dollar is the global currency of trade, there's a reason why most countries store their money in the U.S, it has to do with stability and this is an image the US will defend by any means possible. Since gaining independence from Great Britain, America has never been attacked in any war, you can't say that about any other country including former USSR. When the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, America had to respond with force. When AL Qaeda agents blew up the World Trade Center in September 11 2001, America responded by taking out Sadam and years later Bin Laden. That's America for you.

They didn't give me the exact money sent...my calculation is the deducted $25 for every $400 or thereabout...besides, I was told by my bank that I could withdraw up to a maximum of $10000, not sure how true that is, but they never told me that they didn't have usd when I wanted to withdraw from my domiciliary account so I don't think that is an issue.

Wow, thanks Pretts, if they are deducting $25 for every $400 as in your case then it's almost like selling dollars to the bank at N197. I did an international bank transfer into someone's naira account when the official rate was like N150/$ so every dollar was exchanged for like 145 or so. This time I wanted to see if I can do the same thing but instead of sending into a naira account, it will be sent to a domiciliary account then the the recipient can withdraw cash and exchange in black market. I will try calling Stanbic again to get specific details. TY

Bros I wouldn't be here asking if my bank's customer care had picked up my call. I called Stanbic several times yesterday, the phone just rings and rings then hangs up. I'm not in naija and I can only rely on what they say over the phone or what I read here on NL. Besides, someone else might have the same question if not now maybe later. I don't understand that, this is money sent to them in dollars so how can they not have it available?? It's not like someone is buying dollar from them, this is money that was sent and in their account.

Yes it is possible...however, you need to get the funds transfer instruction (intermediary bank details, swift code, IBAN etc) from your bank here in Nigeria. In my case, the money was sent on a Friday night from Paris and I received it in my domiciliary account on a Tuesday afternoon late Jan, so that's about 2 working days in total. The bank did not dispense the exact amount of dollars so you may want to ask the sender to add some extras to cover deductions.

Wow thanks for the info. I can get the bank's swift code and I know they charge a small fee, plus the 2 business days wait isn't a problem. I would to know if the bank gave you the exact amount of dollars (after the deduction) sent.

Pls is it possible to receive wire transfer from a foreign bank into a domiciliary account? Will the bank dispense the exact amount of dollars transfered into your domiciliary account?
