When problems arise in a marriage, relatives are so in a hurry to take sides further dividing the couple.
Some are so quick to encourage the lady to leave him and come back to the house only to start chasing her again after six months: go back to your husband's house.

As a health care practitioner who has been involved in the management of sickle cell disease, my advice to you is: quit.
You can't imagine the trauma both psychological and otherwise of having your child in and out of the hospital almost on a daily basis. At that point my dear u will forget love and talk about hate cos your child will hate you for deliberately subjecting him/her to that condition. I can't understand why you waited for that long to know your Hb genotype.
I advise my patients who are As to do this: when a guy wants to ask u out the first question for him should be what is your genotype.

People are very quick at branding Doctors as the Devil.
You didn't tell us what she was suffering from;
Your friend was ill and you simply went to the chemist to buy drug only to go back when her case became critical.
It is unlikely that your friend at that age will take ill same day and her condition deteriorated same day.
Nigerians have the poorest health seeking behavior you can imagine. It's only after they are tired of native medicine and pastors that they remember the Doctor expecting miracles.
Doctors are not magicians. I'm pretty sure people will be singing a different song if they heard the hospital's side of the story.

By 2017 when the president form north is expected to step down, the skewed political structure and unitary govt system of Nigeria must have become so deeply entrenched that any southerner calling for political restructuring may be imprisoned for committing a crime of calling for political restructuring.

Nigeria leadership story did not start from 1999. but PDP big wigs conveniently started from 1999 to count Nigeria's leadership story. North has ruled Nigeria during 41 of the country's 57 years.

Atiku, or any other northern president, cannot convince northern leaders to restructure Nigeria politically - the only means to guarantee peace and development in Nigeria.

Nigeria needs a southern president to use stick and carrot approach to get north to agree to political restructuring of Nigeria in a democracy.
I thought Jonathan was a southern president. So y didn't he do it?

medicine is for the hard working student, not for the intelligent. Granted, your IQ need to be high but passion garnished with hard work and perseverance is all you need. let me tell u a story of the best student in my class in med school; he was so good that that lecturers feared having any academic confrontation with him but you know what? he failed our final mbbs exam simply because he couldn't demonstrate how to examine for pedal edema correctly.

If your timing is accurate then it is less likely the child is yours. If she doesn't lose the baby (naturally or artificially, if you understand what I mean) then paternity test is in order.

Had this person I called a best friend.
We've been so close that we were both taken to secondary school together by our fathers.
First of while in Sec school he surreptitiously wrote a list of noise makers (he wasn't the class captain) sent the list to the most wicked teacher in the school but guess what my name was there. I was with him all through without knowing what he was doing.

Fast forward to 20yrs later. He told me about this fine, responsible, God fearing girl he met that he thinks I should go for(he was married at the time).
I decided to give it a trial. To cut the story short, 2 years later we were married. You know what she turned out to be his secret girl friend. I stumbled into their chat which showed they even met somewhere on the eve of our wedding.
For me there is nothing like friends. Till I die I will never consider anyone a friend anymore.
