kenlash: I served in taraba, I'd advice u guys to leave on monday. Its a long journey from osha like 12-14 hrsThere are direct buses from onitsha to jalingo, luxury buses. I boarded one of dem when I served there. |
uniqueoge: Plz how far is Taraba state from onitsha in Anambra state,12 hrs (max) I served in taraba 2008/09 batch a. Make sure u av enof money for food. Their food at d camp is notdependable. If u re yoruba, u don't av any problem regarding food because "mama ijesha" is @ mammy market. Ibo food sellers were there too, but I didn't really explore them. Another thing is that there is no good toilet @ the camp. Be prepared for "shot put". In all, be extremely vigilant n safety conscious, and pls don't forget to take with u mosquito net. |
She had discussed with her boyfriend, as suggested. She feels like ending the relationship, but her boyfriend will not hear of that. He has even reported her to her pastor. Though the guy confessed that he is also tired of the relationship (due to frequent quarrels) but he felt it could still work. He felt the relationship could still lead to marriage. I am of the opinion that the girl should move on, since she is tired of the relationship, but I don't want to tell her that until I sample other people's opinion. I believe marriage should be a thing of mutual responsibility. Some people even say that it is better to marry a guy that loves a girl (even if the girl doesn't like him) rather than marrying a guy that does not like her as much as she liked him. My friend is in a dilemma, I need you to help me to help her. Thanks. |
Aqva: Where is the good news? Can u list 10 good things that happened to the nation this year?Number 1 goodnews: GEJ condemn boko haram bombings. Number 2 goodnews: Danbaba suntai has been flown out of the country for medical treatment Number 3: Dame PEJ is back Number 4: david mark supports the creation of ijebu state And I can go on and on Good things are happening oooo ![]() |
bukason1: Lol!Yeah!Deal. I will definitely let you in on it. |
Thanks all for your comments, though I would love to have more. I've told her to discuss with her bf, like u said, and she should let me know how she feels afterwards. Until she comes back to me after the discussion, let's keep our fingers crossed. |
I'm speaking the mind of one of my friends here, she doesn't love her boyfriend anymore, and she's not seeing anyone else. She's been dating this guy for 8months now, introduced him to her parents, met his parents, and all of a sudden, she's beginning to resent him. She's not feeling the spark anymore, and the guy is talking about marriage to occur in a year's time. She told me her mind, thay she's not even feeling like settling down yet. She's 26yrs now, working class. What should she do? Her fear is that if she let's the guy leave her, she doesn't know if she will find someone else. Honestly, when she told me her story, I didn't know what to tell her. I only told her that I will think about it and get back to her. Please I need your comments. |
ayandee: What empathy would i show for a thiefing governor? I served in Taraba state and i can confirm to you that it's a very poor state. The level of poverty there is startling. The roads are terrible. You can imagine driving nine hours within a state on a trip that shouldn't take 4hrs cos of bad road. Only 3 local govt areas had electricity- Takum, some parts of Donga and Jalingo. The rest had no poles meaning no hope of electricity in sight. No portable drinking water except for sachet water 'imported' from neighbouring states. We would wake up at 4am and walk miles to get water for laundry. The few schools available lacked teachers. Even Jalingo the capital has no infrastructure except for the bank buildings adorning it. I can go on and on.You are absolutely right. I served in taraba too 2008 batch a, and I can tell you that the guy has been doing skeletal projects, never reaching completion. |
The state of security in this nation is appalling. May God help us. |
