I couldn't save a dime while I was serving & I am not prodigal or foodie. I gave out more than I spent sef - friends, family, church, students & to my host community. And I got employed the same month I finished serving, I had the letter in hand even before my POP. I'm only earning 5 digits salary though, I finished serving last year & my bank account never lacks monthly alerts right from NYSC till today.

I'm not a saying it's not good to save but we need to cultivate the habit of giving from the little we have to the needy around us. I would rather have my account emptied than watch a fellow human suffer or die of petty things. God doesn't owe a man,,, just make sure you do it cheerfully. I do challenge God with my giving nature - If I lack any good things, there might be no one to put a smile on the faces of the needy around me & HE has been faithful to that.
