Meet Governor Hope Uzodinma - the only shameless governor who invites the president to commission every kilometre of road completed.

In the end, he will spend more money to host and entertain the president and his guests than the entire amount spent on the project undecided
I thought the main aim of the invitation is for his swearing-in. Meanwhile, there are other governors present

Senegal is really entertaining us , displaying the real soccer skills. Politics has destroyed our sports in Nigeria. I'm not interested in watching any super chickens who would only cause me a needless HBP. I wish the NFF could be privatised.

Anyone who visits surulere, agege or national stadium on a Saturday will selected the best 11 that can compete with any team in the world. At NFF, Jersey is for the highest bidder .
Are you just knowing this?

There is a reason the team is made up of Foreign based players. These are players who earn in higher currencies and local player cannot compete with them to bribe their way in, unless that person has rich sponsor. It is a sad situation

Your point is useless
Population don't play sports
You are more useless with your view.
Did you even read my posting?
What point do you have?

If you have a huge population, there should be at least one sport, within your region, you'd dominate. In this situation, within the African continent.
Those countries with big populations dominate in areas their populations have passion from childhood days.

I won't waste my time educating and enlightening your ignorance and primitivenesss

Don't mention me again. You can die in your ignorance if you want

So , China or India should be winning every world cup. Population doesn't play football
It depends on which sport they prioritise. Read my earlier post

Population has nothing to do with soccer, or China would have won the World Cup 20 times.
It depends on your priority as a country. Chima have ateeas of sports they dominate, likewise the US.

Which sports does a country of 200million people dominate in their continent?
Football is what Nigerians play from childhood, like Ping Pong for the Chinese. Please do not use this excuse to console yourself from not winning country of 1.6 million.
According to FIFA ranking, Nigeria ranks higher
than Equitorial Guinea with more than 40 countries m separating the two

Zanusi- missed 2 good chances
Osimhen- missed 2 good chances
Alex iwobi- that guy does not deserve the role of a midfielder...

Best Nigerian Player on the field- Alhassan Yusuf. Na only this guy put body for this game.

Yusuf showed himself. I wish his injury is not serious.

Iwobi gets call-up maybe because he has godfather in Okocha. Was he not the one who got unnecessary red card in our last AFCON match?

The team needs commitment

The truth is that Oshimen is just an average player. There's nothing special about him.
Nigeria needed to hype him after he did well in Seria A. He is not average at club level, but for Super Eagles, he's actually average (coach should have confidence to sub him when need be)

Can NFF organise like a small tournament beteeen these foreignbased players who we see on TV and local players? Say in a group of 4. From there, the national team can be selected.
I don't think Nigeria should rely only on players who play abroad and are seen (and known) on television

Oliseh was a disciplinarian
From what Mikel said it seems there are cliques within the team. And that trend might have continued, even in the present Super Eagles.
There is a reason Musa is still invited amd made the captain. It seems he is a unifier in the team. Take him out, those with Foreign passports (Owobi, Troost, Lookman etc.) may want to lead. Those raised in Nigeria will also want to lead. Award winners may see themselves as superior, while looking down on those playing in lower leagues or Local leagues.

If Musa should not be the captain, I'd suggest Ndidi to take over. He seems calm and coordinated

Seems this his talks will expose lots of things Nigerians don't know that happen 'inside' Super Eagles

Nigerians will be waiting for who will expose how much bribes coaches and NFF collect in other to invite and feature players
