@lady Guinivere Please i need guide on how to properly present my case during my interview I got an iv from my brother in law And im currently a full time university student here in nigeria. 1. Do i present my student status as a tie(azin izit strong enough) 2. Is it an advantage or disadvantage for my brother in law who invited me to be footing the whole travel bills 3. Do i need to have any other purpose of travel aside visitation eg. Like student's conference/work shop. 4. I know i'll get the visa but what is the possible length of approved stay if i use my student status as a tie. One love. |

Amefrica: HotNaijaBabe.. Statement of purpose: U will simply write on ur educational goals, why the school, ur course and some personal stuff..is that one also required during vis interview? |
imperiouxx: imperiouxx at yahoo dot comoga imperiouxx you gat mail |
peepz my interview is 7days today in Abuja. I need all of una prayers and well wishes. Infact if you fit help me do fasting, make you start asap, cos no jonsing this time around. Mek God begin they tidy all them chinko ladies and gentlemen handling the interview on that day. Infact SUCCESS IS MINE. I CLAIM IT!! AMEN. |
djunit1: If asked, and you reply "my grand mother is an alumna of bla bla bla" That can almost guarantee you your visaThanks. Nice tip |
bigfrancis21: Yes. The reason is plausible enough. Put it this way, 'my paternal/maternal grandfather is a distinguished alumnus of the school who studied B.Sc/MS in xxxx(say his course). He's of the class of 1970(the year he graduated) and he told me a lot about the school'.well noted. Thanks boss. |
bigfrancis21: Replied you. We're now connected.thanks. My man, I wan ask this questione mek others learn too....... My grandfather attended the same school where am heading to for his masters. Though he is retired now here in Nigeria. When asked how did i get to know my school, is it bad to say: "actually, my grandfather attended the school so thats how i got to know about the school?" |
bigfrancis21: @Bolded...Kunle that is your greatest undoing. Adults from 25 and over going for undergraduate study are a big no-no for the VOs let alone someone of 30+ years. How do you intend to catch up when you left high school over 14 years ago?mr Biggs(bigfrancis) I sent you a mail pls reply so i can fully hala you on my status. My interview is next week. Thanks |
Ricky Rozay: Thanks bro... Just try to be Bold and Confident on that day despite any difficulties you might encounter on that dayAMEN !!! |
congrats my guy. I hope to get mine soon too. 2nd is my day. Once again congrats. ![]() Ricky Rozay: Visa Approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't shout ooooooooooooo.. I will be back with the Full Gist.......congrats my guy. I hope to get mine soon too. 2nd is my day. Once again congrats. |
topzy2000: My Interview was just about 3 minutes. Nice and jovial looking VO. She doesn't really type anything on her system, probably cos have been there before. It went like this...congrats topzy.... I cant wait to go get mine too. |
vivysparkles: If I remember correctly, during ur last interview, u failed to properly explain to the VO what uve been doing from ur graduation till now. Ur response was ' working in the church for 5yrs' . I hope uve found a better response than that now. Also ur sponsor affidavit/letter dint have a specific amount on it. Hope uve made dt correction too. Also find a compelling reason for why your employer is the one sponsoring ur studiesthanks my main man. I have worked on all those possible flaws and you know what? Am getting my visa this time. I couldnt change that appointment venue before i got a date so, am still heading back to abuja. Well,, i believe what is mine is mine no matter where i happen to go looking for it....just wish me all the best and kip on praying for your boy. 2nd august is my day. One love..bro...kip da fire burning.... |
pals......dates are avialable now...for abuja and for lagos....abuja is from 2nd august...while lagos has dates ranging from 5th to 8th of august. Pls everybody looking for a date should try and grab one among these before theyre filled up.....one love.....kip da fire burning peepz |
yeah bro. But i already filled my ds160 for abuja. Can it be changed? bigfrancis21: If I remember, you were denied initially at Abuja, right? Why don't you try Lagos this time? Abuja has been having an awfully low approval rate this season and Lagos a higher approval rate. Try Lagos this time. You surely do not want to come back to this thread bemoaning again. |
guys i just completed my ds160 today but cant find any dates for appointment in abuja. Please anyone who sees any date sharperly sharperly just beep your guy. You fit flash me i go call you on 08136751746. Or beta still call me. Thanks one love.....kip da fire burning!! |
gurus abeg i wan fill my ds160 now but the thing dey reject my 5 X 5 passport. Is it compulsory to fill the ds 160 with a passport? If i just ignore that passport thing and fill my ds160 like that, will it affect my interview?....please mek una reply |

[quote author=justwise].....i no fit laugh |
coachee1: on how tinz be eehhh, as i reach house |
bigfrancis21: Actually, the Abuja VOs tend to be more relaxed than Lagos VOs because they don't tend to experience the huge constant swathe of visa applicants that Lagos receives daily. Because of this, they tend to give you more time to explain your case.on how tinz be eehhh, as i reach house i come reason am wela come see am say en fit be because of no strong ties to my country mek d oyibo man deny me visa. Now i wan mek una join me do dis my calculation to see if en go work dis time. I wan provide all diz documents: *high court affidavit by my sponsor (company) *letter of trainee employment (as stated in my former ds-160 ie employed as a trainee) stating my employment date, field, and salary scale *letter of education leave from sponsor (who is also my employer)for 4 yrs, with leave/educational allowance(pocket moni) *letter of sponsorship/commitment from my sponsor/employer addressed to consular general usa embassy *official document of affirmation/ agreement from high court swearing that i would come back to work for my sponsor after my education. Pls neccessary corrections and calculations are highly welcomed. |
GboyegaD: Why would you want to work with hear says knowing that the interview is unique to each individual? Follow your mind and leave the rest to God.on how tinz be eehhh, as i reach house i come reason am wela come see am say en fit be because of no strong ties to my country mek d oyibo man deny me visa. bigfrancis21: Yap. You'll meet whites there too. To avoid meeting the same man again, I think you should apply this time to the Lagos embassy.I heard that lagos interview is tougher than that of abuja and that there are slimmer chances of getting a visa in lagos than in abuja. Is that true? Also will my previous visa denial affect my current visa decision? |
