Did he actually? pocohantas: Since you got a teenager pregnant, you have lost your peace of mind. Explaining everyday and trying to recruit more. Indeed the guilty runneth when no one pursueth. All of this because some young girls said they will rather marry men in their age brackets.
But you don't need to stress it because in a 3rd world country like Nigeria, there would always be families who give out their teenage girls to men 2x her age for her university education to be guaranteed.
Sha send her to the university like you promised now she is pregnant for you. She has kept her side of the deal, please keep yours. |

Yea. Nigerian issues are uniquely different than American issues. And Yes I agree. it is quite hypocritical for one to be tribalistic and condemn a racist. I’ve never understood tribalism anyway. I mean I kinda get it, but at the same time I don’t understand why anyone in this day and age still discriminates against others for who they are, where they’re from etc etc. Which is why I could never be conservative. They’re too hung up on isms, differences and condemnation of others who aren’t like them. Most African tribalists have a conservative world view. They can’t wrap their minds around people being different from them and deserving just as much respect and consideration as they themselves do. In fact, it would be crazy to see a liberal-minded African who’s also tribalistic. Those are mutually exclusive states of mind. As far as racism towards Asians, I’ll say the lighter or more white passing you are in America, the likelihood of racism against you dropping. If for nothing , just for the sheer fact that it’s a prejudice based on skin color. For example, a racist cop can spot a very dark skinned driver from far away and proceed to stop them for no reason (happens a lot). Less likely if you are light or white from afar. Just a tiny example. So it makes sense to believe Asians might experience lesser racism than Africans. I mean it can’t be worse than chattel slavery and the sequela from that ancestral experience. anonimi: My apologies for not indicating that WE means Nigerians, since this is nairaland.
Meanwhile, is it not hypocrisy for tribalistic Nigerians to talk about racist whites? Do whites use zoning and rotation of public office to justify sharing the national cake of corruption at local, state and federal levels
https://www.nairaland.com/post/129895546
Are whites as racist to Asians as they are to blacks? If they are less racist to them, does it have to do with Asian countries ranking being much higher than that of African countries

anonimi: What useful lessons for actionable remedial plans can we draw from this I’ll give you an example from healthcare. Historically, most medical studies have been done with white patients in mind. A lot of skin diseases do not have adequate representation in black populations. Therefore, we are training doctors that can identify certain dermatological conditions on white people but can’t in black patients. We can’t blame them because that’s who they learned to treat. But we can’t let ourselves keep being disadvantaged. We have black psychiatrists that don’t understand black struggles. The stories they hear about black families don’t make sense to them and they can’t apply a black patient’s background into perspective when treating them. Black moms are 3x more likely to die in childbirth because conditions and social determinants of health that disproportionately affect us are not well understood by white healthcare providers. For this reason, a platform called “find a black doctor” where black patients can go and search for black doctors was created. It’s supposed to help black patients find healthcare providers who they feel might be more understanding of their background and specific experiences that contribute to their medical conditions. A white dermatologist is suing this “find a black doctor” platform because he feels it discriminates against him as a white provider. Bear in mind he most likely cannot differentiate between mere ashiness in a black patient versus true cyanosis as a result of oxygen deprivation. Cyanosis does not present as a bluish hue on black skin as it does on white skin. Instead the patient will appear gray. White doctors who aren’t culturally competent can’t tell the difference. Another example was when a black woman once had a psych evaluation placed on her simply because she was slapping her scalp at her doctor’s office. When asked afterwards, she said she was simply scratching her braids with the gentle slaps because she didn’t want to mess up her hair. I as a black woman will immediately recognize what that is, if a woman does it in my presence. An old white man will not. That’s why representation matters. What we need is for people to lay off the measures that have been put in place to correct these historical and presently ongoing problems. To stop calling it reverse racism because that’s not a thing. And we need under-educated black people to stop aligning with racists to undermine the efforts. |

Pretty much QR :
Trump’s $1.8B slush fund for violent white supremacists is only shocking if you ignore when US Govt paid reparations to white enslavers but never to the enslaved, gave 160M free Homestead acres to white European immigrants but none to Black people, broke every single Treaty with Indigenous people but claimed Latinos are illegal, & readily gave the GI Bill & FHA loans to white people but to no one else.
Trump is merely perpetuating USA’s long held racist traditions to protect white mediocrity. |

There’s something wrong with these people. The wanton cruelty they celebrate, and contempt they have for people in lower income classes leads to behaviors like this one. Disgraced Texas police officer Matthew Luckhurst was fired by San Antonio PD in 2016 after placing poop on bread and leaving it for a homeless man to eat.
Despite this and other misconduct issues, he has since been rehired by the Benavides Police Department, where he now serves in uniform.
He's in Benavides, about 150 miles from San Antonio, and according to Benavides Police Chief Andre Hines, the hiring “reflects the department’s commitment to honesty and accountability.”

Smh Mallori Patrice Strait, a Texas woman, was held in jail for five months after suffering a miscarriage in a fast food restaurant bathroom. She was charged with abuse of a corpse, despite the Bexar County Medical Examiner later confirming she had experienced a miscarriage and that the fetus was nonviable, dying in utero. The district attorney eventually dropped the case due to insufficient evidence, but only after Strait lost months of her life behind bars. While Strait was incarcerated, a local crisis pregnancy center took possession of her fetal remains, named the fetus, and held a public funeral. This act highlights how Texas law and anti-abortion groups have created a climate where women’s personal tragedies are politicized and used to push an agenda that criminalizes reproductive health outcomes. The emotional and psychological toll on women facing miscarriages is only intensified by these public spectacles and legal threats. Texas laws requiring burial or cremation of fetal remains, even after miscarriage, are not grounded in medical necessity and serve only to further stigmatize and traumatize women. Strait’s ordeal is a chilling reminder of how state policy and law enforcement can turn private grief into public punishment, making Texas a hostile place for anyone who can become pregnant.

The injuries are not minor things that’ll be forgotten in a few weeks. Many will never walk again, see again or be okay in the head ever again. It’s far more people wounded than the news told the public. Enough wounded, had to shut down several non-critical units of the hospital in order to accommodate the wounded. They’re illogical. Let’s face everything but the problem. Proserpina: Let me get this straight, you spend your entire time on this thread telling everyone that Nigeria is not safe for girls, from your posts the reason for your assertion is the vices of men, what men do against women/girls. Basically you don't want girls because you are afraid of what men may do to them.
In all of this you have never condemned men for their wicked acts that made women unsafe. You focus more on the fact that you wouldn't want women to exist in your lineage. Uncle you are not different from men hurting women, I think you are worse self because left to you, women won't exist. Phew!!! This victim mentality that makes people dance around problem rather than face it won't be the end of us.
How about you preach that men do better instead of praying you don't have a girl child which fortunately and unfortunately you now have.? |
Family › Re: Why Do Some Men Discriminate Against Femal Children? by cococandy(f): 8:52am On May 23 |
Like I said. Illogical Goo0dHardDick: You're being emotional.
Calm down and read with facts and understanding.
I asked you a question, why didn't the pictures of those men they all had sex with show up online? Why didn't people talk about them like they were talking about the women involved in those tapes?
The ESUT girl was widely judged and condemned, did you see any condemned the guy she did it? Till today we don't even know the guy nor have seen his pictures simply because no one cares. Even if your gender sees him, they'll want to have sex with him too because in their imagination, he is hot and good at sex.
Women are judged by their past because your value as a woman is in your body. You know exactly what I'm saying |
Foreign Affairs › Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by cococandy(f): 8:01am On May 23 |

Family › Re: Why Do Some Men Discriminate Against Femal Children? by cococandy(f): 7:59am On May 23 |
The main difference is that you people are illogical Goo0dHardDick: You still don't understand that there's a massive difference between a boy and a girl.
99.9% men will hail their sons and even support him to have sex as he wants and nothing will happen. Those involves in sex tapes videos, both the guinea man and that ESUT girl, did you see anyone bothering to know or call out the men they did with? That's because no one cares. Society do not judge men based on that. A woman's value is in her body and this is why women are judged by their past. A man's value is in his success and achievements in life.
Know the difference |

But if he has a son, I bet he won’t be worried the boy is having sex. I bet he’ll probably high five the boy and give him a pat on the back. Who’s he expecting the boy to sleep with? You people and your lack of logic Goo0dHardDick: That he is afraid of what is going to become of her because female child nowadays can do and undo, he made mention of the way women nowadays dresses, the sex and finally pregnancy that'll follow suit and that no matter how you talk or train the female child, if she wants to go and have sex, she'll still do it regardless without you knowing at all. Why is it that most men don't want female child? |
Family › Re: Why Do Some Men Discriminate Against Femal Children? by cococandy(f): 11:34pm On May 22 |
nothing to add. Nigerians and their misplaced priorities focused on how women use their bodies while their sons are literally massacring the country will never cease to amaze me. pocohantas: None of your business associate gave birth to any female child, let alone having this kind of discussion with you. Your obsession with women and whatever vices they indulge in, made you create this fake thread.
I won't start telling you of female kids who went on to be great because you guys see them, but refuse to use those ones as example or templates for your potential girl child.
The reason Nigeria is boiling is not because female kids are having sex. Yet some of you stay obsessed with our vaginas, while people are getting kidnapped and beheaded by your wonderful sons. If you and your most men like, born 1000 boys, but please raise them well. We have enough issues to deal with already .
Thank you |
