I love Tiwa down. They can’t tell me nothing about her. pocohantas: They almost had me fooled too because I was never her fan, same with Tiwa. I had to start observing them and they are always cheerful. Serious girls girls and sometimes she said things that shocked me and gave "pick-me" vibes. If her exhusband never left her, Toke would never have left him. I followed the story that year. She was on a show (you know she is an OAP), when the news of him impregnating his sidechick broke the internet. The SC was a woman she always knew was in his life and endured.
If you don't join them in hating yourself and hating your fellow woman, then you hate men. Like who gives a fck? Annie their virtuous woman of earlier years, did a single one of them speak up for her? You can endure all they want you to and they will still throw you under the bus. Abeg, they better take their validation to women who live for it.
I am happy for Toke. She will deliver safely and the baby would grow right before our eyes . |

pocohantas: Hating men = living her life and progressing after a divorce they thought would have ended her. Right. She didn’t disappear. She didn’t reduce herself to a doormat and send them to beg the man that was mistreating her. Therefore she must hate men. I’m not necessarily a Toke fan since I didn’t follow her journey from the beginning. So, I always felt like I didn’t have enough information to paint her in any sort of light based solely on my opinion, but she never gave man hater. If anything, in all her clips that came across my timeline, she seems like a cheerful person who cares about her close community. This world really hates women and then they turn around and try to convince us that if you don’t join them in hating yourself, you must be a man hater. Because what did she ever do to these internet trolls except leave a bad marriage? |

Bad belle people. We know what you hate most is to see women who have their own personalities/voices prospering and living life on their own terms. That is the man hate you’re talking about. Let me tell you something, for a woman like me, telling me you perceive me as a man hater is very HIGH compliment. You just made my day. It means that years and decades later, I’ve never and will never come across as someone who cares what internet incels think of me. You flatter me. 🥰😘 If I ever start coming across as a pick me, pls have me tested for Alzheimer’s dementia. nwirinedu: Birds of the same feather flock together. authority2006: You never told anyone that you hate men but somehow, we know |

Now they’ll be too “manly” to care about the cost of food. But when they were being insanely disingenuous before the election, the cost of eggs was all they cared about. IjeBos: The cost of the plantains I've been buying is a good measure of inflation.
Last year I could buy them for 3/$1(green or ripe) at my local Shaws. The raised them to 2/$1. At the local international market they were selling them for 5/$1 for the green ones. So, I started buying them from there. I would buy 2 dozen every 2 weeks or so for my mom so there are always some in various stages of ripeness for dish she makes. They increased them to 4/$1 in Feb. Two weeks ago they increased them to 3/$1 This week they were now 2/$1. The local Shaws used to be 75c for one. Will check what they are when I go shopping this week.
I guess it doesn't affect all the "manly" men in this thread because they only eat meat anyways. #notwinning |

OP blocked fallopian tubes can be treated surgically and fibroids can be removed. It’s good that the cause is known and the treatment is possible. Some people have infertility issues but don’t even know why which makes their case even more difficult.
You know the cause and the cause is treatable. So start planning on how to actualize it. |

pocohantas: Highly enlightening. Medical practitioners are trying. If I were in that field, I would be a radiographer. Hope that one won't take more than 4yrs? 😂😂 Not it’s four years or less (2-3 typically). One year for prerequisites and 2 years for the main program. People do get bachelor’s in that field sometimes which is four years. But just like nursing, it’s one of those careers that you don’t need a full bachelor’s degree to do. The real clinical knowledge is imparted in 2-3 years. The extra 1-2 years for bachelors just helps you be a more rounded clinician because you learn things like leadership, understanding research, statistics, sociology and politics etc. All great if you want to advance in the field but not necessary in order to understand the science of what you are doing. Are you coming? 🤩 Say yes pls. |

OP make your way to California on your travel route. After 3 consecutive contracts, most facilities will be willing to help you stay permanently. New inexperienced grads start at around $75/hr. With a few years of experience, you’ll be at over $100/hr plus all the benefits, mandated ratios and breaks. All those 25 year olds you’re working with who have 5 years of experience and only an ADN are all making around $200k annually without overtime and they don’t have to leave their homes to go travel. It doesn’t get better than that.
Most of our travelers don’t leave. Or they do bicoastal nursing by keeping their tax home of record (usually in Texas or Florida) and block their shifts so they can go back and forth while working in CA indefinitely. Sutter, Kaiser and Stanford is where you have to look for those high numbers. Dignity is okay too but they start newer grads around $60/hr. Not terrible but kinda low compared to the others.
You might be discouraged by people telling you CA is super expensive. That’s because they’re only thinking of San Diego, San Francisco or LA. You don’t have to live inside those cities. Outside those major cities, cost of living (especially rent/mortgage) is similar to what you’d find in other so called low cost of living states. And employers will pay you the same as those who are in SF because the unions mandate them to.
Good luck in your travels. Following your journey. |

Oh here I come with more “fear mongering“ Except when it actually happens the ones who called or that will quietly pretend they never said so. What happened to being a party of small government? BREAKING: Donald Trump's fascism hits a shocking new level as a leak reveals that he's evaluating the creation of a “Domestic Civil Disturbance Quick Reaction Force” of hundreds of National Guard troops to crack down on American cities at a moment's notice.
We can hear the jackboots already and it gets so much worse...
According to The Washington Post which reviewed internal Pentagon documents, the new military force would be "tasked with rapidly deploying into American cities facing protests or other unrest."
As we have already seen from Trump's deployment of troops in Los Angeles and now Washington, D.C., there doesn't need to be actual unrest for him to act. He will lie, pretend that there's a crisis, and then send in soldiers so that he can look strong to his supporters and crack down on his political enemies.
The deeply authoritarian plan would place 600 troops on "standby at all tines" which would allow them to deploy in as quickly as one hour when given the order. There would be two groups of 300, stationed at military bases in Alabama and Arizona.
The estimated costs could reach hundreds of millions of dollars, burning through tax dollars to pay for keeping military aircraft and aircrews ready 24 hours a day.
The documents contain elements that have time stamps from as recent as late July and early August, indicating that the idea is still under active consideration. The earliest that they could be implemented is fiscal year 2027 if the program is created through the usual budgetary process, but given Trump's penchant for lawbreaking and disrespect for norms, it's possible that he may ultimately try to accomplish it through nontraditional means.
If we let this force be created, there will be no putting the genie back in the bottle. Trump will have a highly trained, heavily armed military force that he won't hesitate to deploy whenever he needs a distraction from his failed presidency. We'll be subjected to brutal authoritarianism to cover up stunning incompetence. |

bayelsaowei: Make I drop this one..
I think i will blame Biden for this and the Democrats..
They are solely responsible for these debts..
Trumps admin must not be blamed. The BBB and Tarrifs should resolve this in a jiffy and not adding even a dollar to the debt. Trump alone is personally responsible for 20% of America’s national debt. By the time his terrible BBB is done, he will be responsible for 33% of America’s total debt. Just one person. When I look at the people supporting him because he’s “a good businessman”, I just have to SMH at the sheer ignorance and outright insincerity. |
