But I was a fear monger when I said this would happen .

Now they’re all silent attempting to distract us with egg prices

shey I have told you people that the administration today is executing a play book similar to nigeria and other third world countries. Which is shameful..

What Trump is doing is no different from what Tinubu would do, Bubari had done, and other past despot leaders.

America may have been set on a path of no return. This is how values and standards are eroded in a country.. thats how nigeria ended up the way it is..it takes on person to change it.. the Supreme court in the US today is no different from the nigerian Supreme court..

Is it the republican US congress? Completely partisan and no different from Akpabio led nigerian senate.

Sycophancy has taken over the US.

Never expected that bad leadership would become gold standard to a lot of folks..

America

Tiyin ti ta pau. Shame on all of you that voted for this government. There is a reason why these agencies are Non-partisan. To let the government know where they are not doing good.

But Hey,Mr Dictator wants a YESMAN all the time.

Shior
Big stinking shame on them.

Oh they absolutely will.
At first they’ll say you’re lying for insinuating he wants to do such. They already did that to me

Then when it happens they’ll pretend they never said otherwise in the first place. As soon as their cult leader releases a statement on what they’re supposed to say, they all run with it. No originality in thought or evidence of ability deductive ability.

And when all fails, they resort to their ghoulish mockery and trolling. That’s why I blocked them. No point in engaging them.

bayelsaowei:
if trump decides to run for a third term (if ever it happens) don't be surprised that our fellow nigerians would support it.

The folks i see in this forum would support Trump..they'll find some kind of explanation to justify it.

They'll worship Trump more than God in the heavens..

Trump cant do wrong. He is all knowing and all good..

And the mumu Supreme court may just find a way around it too.. cheesy cheesy...

Why would the Smithsonian even do this?
Apparently they plan to restore it after he leaves office.
They’re still naive enough to believe he won’t try to remain in office indefinitely or do a Nigerian style godfatherism maneuver to have one his bootlickers in place after him.

Did you watch Kamala’s episode on Colbert’s show?

The part where she says that Trump’s behavior is not a surprise but the number of people capitulating to him is the shocker, resonated with me.

People really do in the face of discomfort throw away any morals or values they claimed to have in the first place. If I go a few months back on this thread, I can pull up pro election vituperations of those claiming he’s of God. He has family values. He’s a Christian. Bla bla bla

Fast forward a few months, when they can no longer lie to the edi.ots who listen to them about who Trump is, suddenly a good character is no longer necessary for presidency.

It’s the slimey shifty inconsistency for me.

The most dangerous administration to date!

White House announces they are constructing a $200M golden ballroom after cutting child cancer research.

People that supported the firing of govt workers, defunding of healthcare research for women and children, pls get in line and tell us how this is not waste.

Racist, a Ok
Crook/Corrup, a Ok.
Because he won't lie, rape, be racist to or be a crook and fraudster to the things/people that matter to me.
Such a sad stance from a supposed parent.

I have kids. I’d never get behind kid diddlers because of party loyalty . Even the thought of it . Yikes

We will all be watching this dashboard together.

I see net export in the negative.. GDP increased by 3%.

Lets keep our eyes on this dashboard.
When you ruin the economy and then get pressured to roll back some of the disastrous policies you put out, any bounce back the economy does from you changing the stupid decisions you made in the first place is not growth. It’s regression. Classic Trump play.

Because instead of growing from where we were, you set us back and now we have to recover from the avoidable set back you cause. That recovery is not growth. We would’ve been better off if it didn’t happen in the first place.

It’s like setting the house on fire and wanting praise for calling the fire department.

Ford donated a million dollars and a fleet of cars to Trump’s campaign.

Now his tariffs have wiped out their profits. They just reported a net negative -29 million dollars last quarter compared to their 1.8 billion dollars net positive last year.

Now they’re begging trump to reduce his tariffs on aluminum and steel. Manufacturing in America and losing money because your raw materials are being taxed highly doesn’t seem like such a sensible deal after all.

FAFO corporate edition.

Oh yea I saw that. They can’t propagandize their way out of this one. They’ve resorted to distraction.

I’d say let Trump keep talking. That’s all that’s needed. All anyone ever needs to judge him are his own words. Even while his supporters scramble to assign new meaning to the words out of his mouth.

What I want now are for those women who supported them because they care about “protecting” children to show their faces now.

Trump all but admitted he was recruiting victims for Epstein. Or more accurately they were recruiting for each other. Passing 15 year old girls between them. Wonder what the 4725 wire transfers between them was for.

Due to the Trump administration’s assault on democratic norms and global cooperation, CIVICUS has added the United States of America (USA) to its Watchlist of countries with faltering civic freedoms.

A spate of arbitrary executive orders has resulted in mass firings of federal government employees coupled with the takeover of key positions in the administration including the Justice Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation by Trump loyalists. They are likely to severely impact constitutional freedoms of peaceful assembly, expression, and association.

“This is an unparalleled attack on the rule of law in the United States, not seen since the days of McCarthyism in the twentieth century. Restrictive executive orders, unjustifiable institutional cutbacks, and intimidation tactics through threatening pronouncements by senior officials in the administration are creating an atmosphere to chill democratic dissent, a cherished American ideal.

“The Trump administration seems hellbent on dismantling the system of checks and balances which are the pillars of a democratic society,” said Mandeep Tiwana, Interim Co-Secretary General of CIVICUS.

United States, once a global champion of democracy and human rights, joins the first 2025 watchlist along with Democratic Republic of Congo, Italy, Pakistan, and Serbia

America now rated “narrowed” on the civic freedom index alongside countries like Pakistan and Serbia.
