Ramadan Fast Special Report Muslims all over the world usually engage in Ramadan fast every year as a way of attaining righteousness. However, critical questions have been raised. 1). What is the aim of Ramadan fast and why should Muslims go through rigorous discipline. 2). If the Islamic institution of fasting provides the opportunity of reassurance of Muslims through the restoration of their dignity and integrity and if the picture of Islam is in if this respect why are the Muslims not living in a Utopia? Religious experts; Reverend (Dr.) John Aniaghu (Rector S.S Peter & Paul Seminary, Ibadan; Dr. D.O.S Noibi, Mr. S. Ahmed of the University of Ibadan; Alhaji R.A. Abbas (Businessman) and others examine these critical questions and analysis with the Television Service of Oyo State (T.S.O.S) News Special Report in 1983. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n87Zgc8vtaI |
Made in Nigeria Goods - Prospect for future U.K Trained Chemical Engineer - Mr. Biodun Oshunniyi has urged Nigerians to reduce their dependents on foreign made goods and patronize locally made goods in Nigeria since goods made in Nigeria are synonymous with good quality. Engineer Oshunniyi said this in an excerpts of a T.S.O.S News documentary which was originally broadcast on the Television Station on October 5, 1984. He noted that if Nigerias' efforts at industrialization must be successful, Nigerian consumers must prefer to buy made in Nigeria goods. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlloJd-7aXU |
The Oyo State Governor, Dr. Victor Omololu Olunloyo sacked about two hundred Journalists from the Radio O-Y-O and Television Service of Oyo States (T.S.O.S) stations immediately he took over the Governorship of Oyo State. His major reason for terminating the appointments of these journalists was due to his complaint against the journalists for not covering his campaign trail properly during the 1983 Gubernatorial election. Those journalists who had their appointments terminated by Governor Olunloyo were later re-instated back to their positions when Colonel Oladapo Popoola became the Military Governor of Oyo State in a military coup of January 1984 that swept off Civilain rule. Governor Omololu Olunloyo ruled Oyo State for only three months when he was removed from power. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXXKUW_p3WE |

A refugee from Syria found a huge stash of money in a secondhand wardrobe he bought. But keeping it for himself would have been a betrayal of his religion, he said. Muhannad M. found the €150,000 shortly after he had moved into his new flat in Minden, North Rhine-Westphalia, police report. He was able to kit out his new pad thanks largely to money donated through charities, and one of the new furnishings he bought was an old wardrobe. When the 25-year-old cleaned out the wardrobe, he noticed that there was a hidden compartment inside, where two sheets of wood had been screwed together. After he pulled it apart, he was amazed to find savings books worth €100,000 plus €50,000 in cash. “They were all new €500 notes. I thought it was fake money,” he told national newspaper Bild. So he researched online how to tell real bank notes from fake ones and came to the conclusion that this was the real deal. But rather than keep the cash for himself, he informed the migration authorities, who in turn let the police know. “I am a Muslim. I’m not allowed to keep this money. My religion forbids it,” he explained. “Allah would never allow me to finance my own interests with someone else’s wealth.” This young man has acted in an exemplary way and deserves great respect,” a police spokesperson said. “It sometimes happens that smaller amounts of money are handed in. But this kind of money is the absolute exception.” Muhannad arrived in Germany in October 2015. The rest of his family are still in Syria, where a civil war has destroyed large parts of the country since it broke out in 2011. The young communications student from Homs isn’t going away completely empty handed, though. He will receive a finder’s fee of three percent of the value of the money. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/refugee-syria-germany-asylum-seeker-hands-in-money-found-in-wardrobe-a7109296.html

TWO teenage girls snatched a black two-year-old from her pram in Primark after “searching the web for how to rape an African child”. The girls, aged 13 and 14, abducted the tot from the shop in Newcastle’s busy Northumberland Street in April and led her to a park three miles away. The pair – aged 13 and 14 – left the store and headed to a nearby train station where they caught a Metro to a park three miles away as the hysterical mum raised the alarm. Police launched a massive city-wide search across Newcastle after studying CCTV footage showing the girls taking her out of the store. Cops who knew the girls told colleagues to check a park where they often hung out and they were found with the child, who was unharmed, 90 minutes later. The girls, who had earlier tried to snatch another black child, admitted kidnap when they appeared at North Tyneside youth court today. They whispered “guilty” as they also admitted stealing baby milk and a bottle from Boots and Sainsbury’s before the kidnap. An earlier hearing was told chilling details of how they had planned the kidnap by researching sexual abuse of black women and children. Prosecutor Lee Poppett said the girls had been searching for ‘rape’, ‘poor little thing getting kidnapped and raped’ and ‘African woman sexual activity’ on a tablet. He said: “There was significant planning involved. There is evidence to support that the young girls in question had been researching rape. “A tablet contained a number of particular searches for rape, people getting raped, young people getting raped, poor little thing getting kidnapped and raped and African woman sexual activity. “The young child in this case is a black child.” The little girl was found in a park in the suburb of Gosforth an hour and 45 minutes later. She was reunited with her mum after being tracked by CCTV camera operators from the city centre, on the Metro system and along Gosforth High Street and into a park. The pair had originally been charged with kidnap with the intention of committing a relevant sexual offence but this was “discontinued” at the hearing and the prosecution accepted a plea to the alternative charge of kidnap. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/1242392/girls-13-and-14-snatched-two-year-old-from-primark-store-for-sex-along-with-dummies-and-baby-milk/ |

High levels of air pollution not only cause lung disease in adults and children, but also affect unborn children; another recent study found that pregnant women exposed to smog are more likely to produce stillborn babies. Waiting in traffic and breathing the resultant air pollution can increase the risk of heart attack, according to the Lancet journal. In the United States, more than 50,000 people die each year from air pollution, but the situation is even more serious in countries like China and India. In India, air pollution kills more than half a million people annually, and accounts for 25 percent of deaths in the country. In China, around 300,000 people die yearly from heart disease and lung cancer caused by air pollution. Air pollution is estimated to cause 65 percent of all deaths in Asia. By 2050, the expected yearly number of deaths from air pollution worldwide will exceed 6 million. Air pollution is more harmful to humans than water or soil pollution, and ranks among the top ten causes of death worldwide. A recent report by the American Lung Association found that although overall air quality in the United States appears to be improving, a total of 166 million Americans live in places where ozone and particle pollution are at unhealthy levels. Good air quality starts at home Although there is only so much one can do to affect the levels of outdoor air pollution exposure, it's important to keep in mind that the air inside your home can be two to five times more polluted than outdoor air. Air pollution is a global issue, and although governments must play a large role in fighting the problem, individuals can have an impact at the local level. Start by making sure your home's air quality is good, and do your part outdoors by riding a bike or taking public transportation as often as possible. Get rid of the gas guzzler and buy a low-emission vehicle, and let your political representatives know that you care about air quality. If we all take a little more responsibility for clean air, we'll all breathe a little easier and live longer lives. Living within 3 miles of a landfill significantly increases the risk of developing lung cancer and other serious lung diseases, according to a recent study. A team of researchers in Italy conducted the study, which involved nearly 250,000 subjects living within 3 miles of landfills, whose health was monitored for five years or more. From Daily Mail: "The researchers, from the Lazio Environmental Protection Agency in Rome, tracked levels of hydrogen sulphide – a poisonous gas produced by decomposing vegetation which typically smells of rotten eggs. They predicted that hydrogen sulphide levels were representative of the levels of all pollutants produced by the rubbish dumps. "The team divided all those living within three miles of the sites into four groups, depending on how high their exposure to hydrogen sulphide was. "Those in the group with the highest exposure levels were 34 per cent more likely to die with lung cancer than people who lived more than three miles away from the sites, the researchers found. And people in that group were 30 per cent more likely to die from other respiratory diseases. They were also 5 per cent more likely to receive hospital treatment for all respiratory diseases, including 9 per cent for asthma. "Children were even more at risk, with an 11 per cent increased chance of being admitted to hospital for respiratory disease, and a 13 per cent higher risk of asthma. The Italian team tracked pollution levels to make sure they could match disease levels to exposure to toxins." Air pollution facts and figures Landfills are but one source of deadly air pollution, however. Although air quality varies greatly from one place to another, it is estimated that the average person's lifespan is shortened at least one or two years as a result of air pollution. |
Outrageous! That's what you'll say over and over again when you read how the biotechnology companies have manipulated the government, our food, and the media, and put an entire generation at risk." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSDEkoPwMfk |
blueAgent:The Scandinavian countries you mentioned are very good at having children out of wedlock. In Sweden for instance, they have a term called Sambo(cohabitation)which is very popular among them.I think only Eastern Europeans still value the marriage institution. |
OLAADEGBU:What you have in the World today is not Islamic Jihad, its a Western Covert style of Neo colonialism coated with religion(Divide and Conquer tactics),have you ever wondered why the West suddenly supports Al Qaeda? Who supplies them weapons all this while? Muslims countries are not good with modern warfare,Obama and Cameron are always dropping supplies to the Rebels. If you had been a student of International relations in Europe ,you will understand the world happenings is deeper than you think. Can i also say All Xtians men are homosexuals and pedophiles since the priests practise it and Western govts legalised it(homosexuality). There is currently a movement in Europe by some pressure group to legalize Pedophilia in d future it will be legalised by d EU law makers just like homosexuality. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTq8YN8ZtF4 |
Four minutes of eye contact brings people closer to each other better than everything else." So goes the theory of psychologist Arthur Aron. Amnesty International Poland put that theory to the test as part of its "Look Beyond Borders" project, which aims to break down barriers between refugees and native Europeans. It produced striking results. In this video, filmed in Berlin in April, people of all ages and ethnic backgrounds sit opposite each other and stare into each other's eyes for four minutes, prompting smiles, laughter, and conversation, but also tears from the participants. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_hTuGSHDV8 |
Members of anti-Islam group Pegida were outraged this week to see photos of black and Middle Eastern children on packets of Kinder chocolate bars – only to learn they were childhood photos of the national football team. They'll stop at nothing,” Pegida's branch at the Bodensee lake in Baden-Württemberg wrote on Facebook. “Can you really buy them like this?" The comment appeared next to a photo of two packages of Kinder chocolate bars featuring a black child and a child of Middle Eastern appearance. “They're trying to pass this shit off as normal, poor Germany,” one commenter responded with a crying-face emoji. “This must be a fake, no?!?!?” another person wrote. But what the commenters didn't realize was that the world-famous chocolate company had chosen to put childhood photos of the national football team on their packages to celebrate the upcoming Euro 2016 tournament in France. The two they objected to were photos of Ilkay Gündogan and Jerome Boateng – both German nationals who play for Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich respectively, as well as Die Mannschaft. Gündogan and Boateng are also two of the star talents of German football. The former is rumoured to be on the brink of a big money move to English side Manchester City, while Boateng just won the German league and cup double at the heart of Bayern's defence. Other internet users were quick to spot the anti-immigrant crowd's mess-up and launch into mockery. “Poor Germany... if you think diversity and migration are part of it. Close the borders and no exports, no migration! Then you'll get unemployment and local league [football],” one person wrote. “It's best just not to answer,” the person behind the Pegida page told their followers. “We've really dived into a wasps' nest here.” Publicity around Pegida's misdirected outrage got so bad that Kinder manufacturers Ferrero were forced to issue their own statement on Facebook. We at Ferrero would like to distance ourselves from any form of xenophobia or discrimination,” the company wrote on Tuesday in comments under a video announcing the football-themed product. http://www.20min.ch/ausland/news/story/Diese-Kinderschokolade-ist-fuer-Pegida--undeutsch--30973097?redirect=mobi&nocache=0.9931970350444317 “We don't accept or tolerate this in our Facebook communities either.”

Nina4u:Dear Nina , As i walk out of my house this morning i walk into the streets of Rosengard,Malmö .I can tell you categorically no such things happens,i know they have gang related activities fuelled by drug money supported by the Swedish underworld. These gangs and the drug peddlers often clash sometimes. If you come to Malmö ,try pay me a visit and i will take you round Rosengard area to see things for yourself.I once saw a Jewish documentary on Rosengard and i was surprised on all he said abt Rosengard was as if he was describing another city. Do you remember the lone gunman who shot immigrants in 2010,he was a Swede but majority of his victims were black(2blacks(Cameroon& Somali out of four people shot).I remembered all my black brothers and Sisters were afraid to go to club or walk out at night for fear of losing their lives. |
