Igangan residents allege Wakili’s son, lieutenants still terrorise community By Rotimi Agboluaje, Ibadan 24 March 2021 | 3:53 am The Guardian Nigeria National Igangan residents allege Wakili’s son, lieutenants still terrorise community By Rotimi Agboluaje, Ibadan 24 March 2021 | 3:53 am Natives and residents of Igangan in Ibarapa North Local Council of Oyo State have cried out that Abu, son of the arrested dreaded Fulani herdsmen warlord, Iskilu Wakili and his lieutenants still terrorise the community. The residents, therefore, called for the arrest of Abu Wakili. The Convener of Igangan Development Advocate (IDA), Oladiran Oladokun, who spoke with The Guardian, said Abu and a group of terrorists trained by Wakili still terrorised the area. Oladokun said: “Wakili is breeding a group of kidnappers and terrorists. The terrorists are still in our area. Abu, who is his son, is still terrorising the area. We want him arrested. That is why we cannot allow those who are bent on thwarting the efforts of installing peace in the axis. We cannot afford the continuation of the victimisation in the zone.” https://m.guardian.ng/news/igangan-residents-allege-wakilis-son-lieutenants-still-terrorise-community/ |
And as usual innocent Igbo youths pay the price.

The useless link to your site doesn't even work, awon fake news Brigade |
okigbojihad:Not surprising if they are, I have some Ijebu friends who have assertively made it clear they are not Yaribas... I believe their Awujale even insisted they came from Sudan. |
Christistruth00:This isn't 1967, the biggest mistake (probably of the entire war from a Biafran perspective) that Ojukwu made was to give the command of the Midwest and Lagos invasion to a mere Yoruba man whose treachery inevitably ruined the momentum of speed and surprise the attack was premised upon. But the Igbos of this generation have corrected that mistake, but this time not true war or needless wasting of lives... but by a wilful, strategic, methodical and determined plan to dominate the socioeconomic fabrics of Lagos before its final conquest. Then after that has been accomplished and the political stranglehold of Yaribas (who are not even indigenous Lagosians) over Eko has been neutralized and the migrant Yaribas rendered politically and socio-economically irrelevant, then the ownership of Lagos will be up for grabs, but this time Igbos will negotiate with the marginalized Awori people who have been unwillingly yorubanized amd then the Benin over the partition of Lagos for the real owners to emerge the stakeholders of a new Lagos. |
This is just to warn the Yaribas that if they are drawing their oduduwa map, they had better not include Lagos, parts of Ondo state (Akoko Edo), parts of Kwara, and Kogi into their map...otherwise they will be asking for serious trouble. The Eguns, Awori's, Ijebu's are not even pure yorubas so they shouldn't be forced into any ewedu Republic. |
Lagos historically was first occupied by the Bini people who established their military outposts in some parts of Lagos where they traded with the early European arrivals to the ports who happened to be Portuguese, they actually coined the name "Lagos". The etymology Eko has no meaning in Yoruba language (I dare any Yoruba to tell me the meaning of Eko in Yoruba translation). Some parts of Lagos are owned by the Awori's( the real indigenes of Eko who are not yoruba by the way)... Yaribas just like every other Nigerians in Lagos today were among the early migrants to Lagos... They have the British to thank for handing Lagos over to them since they somehow outnumbered the other tribes that migrated to Lagos... so historically aside from the Awori's who are the true aboriginals of Eko, and to some extent the Bini who were the first migrants to establish trading routes in Lagos with the Portuguese traders... no tribe actually has a legitimate claim to Lagos... for now Yaribas control the power structure but that won't last for long because they are fast losing their influence in the socioeconomic aspects of control in the affairs of Lagos as Igbos are taking over almost everything (real estate, markets, businesses, civil service, landed properties etc). I see a major power shift happening in less than 10 years when an Igbo man will DEFINITELY emerge as governor of Lagos state, and the Bini people are now fully aware that they have as much rights to the true ownership of Lagos as the Yoruba MIGRANTS... truly Lagos is no man's land. |

God bless that man that courageously confronted the Fulani bastard despite been unarmed. |
And people wonder why unknown gunmen are spraying those dirty uniformed animals with some special anointing across the East. God bless unknown gunmen jare. |
Relax there's a method to the madness,we're not barbaric unintelligent animals like the Fulani who spread terror even among their own people for the most idiotic reasons... the whole objective is to instill fear in the minds of the heavily biased forces of occupation who call themselves soldiers and their useless cohorts in uniform, enough to get them out the way before ESN move in for the final kill on the Fulani savages left in our space with all these logistics accumulated so far. It's a win/win either way, next time the bastards in uniform want to do anyhow in the East, they will think twice knowing it's no longer deja vu for them... you do anyhow then unknown gunmen will pay you a visit as usual. If we have to enforce change in the East and stop living like conquered people because some bastards in uniform think they can oppress us with their guns, then we must be ready to roll our sleeves and get down to the dirty work. |
rexwalters:Your incoherence alone can trigger brain aneurysms, WTF are you even rambling about? |
rexwalters:Who is this empty-headed dunce lol, go and tell your daft tales to the unknown gunmen who are using your cowardly security personnels to test microphone. |
QuotasSystem:I very much doubt the madness going on in the East will come anywhere close to the North, the North is already finished as a region and there's absolutely no hope in sight. Also the average Igbo man is not fanatical to the point of breeding highly dangerous terrorist groups like is obtainable in the North, if ESN begins to tow the path of unbridled violence especially against the people, then it's the people that will rise up against them and curb their excesses before it gets out of hand... we love to live life down here in the South, make money and throw parties every weekend than behead people in the name of Allah. This whole "unknown gunmen" noise will die a natural death and normalcy will be restored. Fundamentally, as long as they stay focused in flushing out Fulani subhumans from our space, then they are good to go. |
Yes he was an Ijaw man, you can have him... Zik was never useful to the Igbos anyway. |
We all know DEEP DOWN within us who these "unknown gunmen" are, even the sponsors, enablers and supporters of these "UGM" haven't hidden their solidarity and support for their activities in the East... we know why these unknown gunmen are killing security personnels, sacking police stations, checkpoints and carting away weapons which they are stockpiling. Now the motives for these attacks are two fold:- (1) Revenge for the hundreds of young Igbo youths and unarmed Ipob members that have been brutally killed by the Nigerian security forces over the past few years, we all remember the Emene incident where the DSS invaded and killed defenceless Igbo youths simply because they identified with an ideology, we all remember the Aba massacre back in 2015 I believe where soldiers attacked and opened fire with live bullets on an evangelical team of IPOB members whose only offence was that they were bearing Biafran flags and insignias... we remember Obigbo, we remember operation python dance in Abia state and countless other incidents of sadistic and needles killings of Biafrans... It was a typical pattern all these years to see soldiers armed with machine guns and combat gears to confront IPOB members carrying sticks, stones and Biafran flags (complete mismatch) and the resultant clash will of course be more Igbo youths dropped... So yeah these unknown gunmen are back for REVENGE, and we're seeing the results now across the SE. (2) ESN are stockpiling weapons to face the Fulani menace: logistics in terms of arms and ammunition was always going to be difficult to acquire in the East because of the nature of our terrain which doesn't allow for easy smuggling or access to sophisticated weapons. Unlike the Niger Delta where they have the numerous creek outlets where weapons can easily be smuggled in, or the vast sahel plains of the North where bandits can receive weapons from war-torn areas like Chad, Niger republic, Mali, Libya and other neighbouring countries where the proliferation of weapons won't be a problem... the South East unfortunately is blessed with the geography or nature of crisis to acquire all these sophisticated military assault weapons to take the fight to well armed Fulani terrorist elements in our forests... so how else can ESN get these weapons? by attacking security personnels and seizing their weapons. So these unknown gunmen are not Fulani herdsmen or government planted moles as some wanna-be CIA agents here are claiming... we know who these unknown gunmen are. |
ChimaAdeoye:Wow you're so smart, why don't you work with the CIA with this your sophisticated level of intelligence gathering? Mumu ![]() |
Any idiot who thinks these attacks are by Fulani herdsmen needs to have his head examined, fulani no get mind to try all this audacious attacks against security personnels anywhere in the East... Fulani madness begins and ends in the remote villages and farms. I also doubt these attacks are been done by ESN... something just doesn't add up here, but one thing that is for sure is that the East has been infiltrated by a very deadly criminal force bent on bringing war to our people. |
Monogamy:Why are Yeebos and Afonja's so good at football ![]() |
Putinofrussia:Lol you're now denying your people? the highlighted part of your post is the biggest bullsh*t ever concocted, and you know it deep down. I know it's shameful, hurtful and stigmatizing to your ego to know your people are refugees in Benin Republic so it's very tough for you to accept reality. But the Red cross society that have visited those refugee camps in Benin Republic have publicly confirmed that the people they met there are NIGERIANS and from interviews conducted have also confirmed they are INDIGENES of the displaced Yewa communities... for avoidance of doubt I can even post a video of the refugees speaking clear yoruba and telling their tales of woes after confirming they were chased away from their ancestral lands by the Fulani herdsmen who have killed so many people already. Except you're certain beyond every reasonable doubt that Fulanis and Igbos now answer yoruba names and speak pure yoruba in Yewa dialects, you may need to come up with a better face-saving lie. |
He was an epitome of greatness!

No be by Wikipedia rants my brother, any half-wit can edit and add whatever distortions he/she wants on wiki... if e sure for Benin people say na dem own Onitsha, then let them cross the river Niger and come lay claim to Onitsha. Igbos made it clear Lagos is no man's land, and they walked the talk by actually taking over the economic threshold of Lagos by buying up lands, owning major businesses, properties etc now lazy and jobless Yoruba youths now queue up every day in Ladipo, Alaba, ASPANDA, computer village, Ajah etc to beg their Igbo masters for small change to buy loud to smoke and Iya Bukayo's ewa agoyin/agege bread to eat . |
