I have no faves. I cherish a disciplined team with players that are of high repute and can stand their own against star players. CIV exposed him at the last AFCON and he has not been exceptional even with seeming help from our defenders. Goalkeepers do help club avoid relegation status(that is the current state of Chippa United) however that is not the subject even though I have ample evidences.

The night might be long in Cremona. Will the freekick goal he conceded be the only goal he would concede, will he make decent contributions to keep his team in line for a draw or victory?

Nice one but I feel strongly that OSAYI will not start(His progression forward is not great as well as his defensive abilities lately) and may not make the invite. Aniagboso is making a good case for himself with his stellar performances so far so Adeleye should watch it.. Every other person earns their call-up. Shockingly Onuachu might make the team on the basis of his seeming club consistency so far this season in Turkey.

Noted. I will rather introduce Lookman and Moses as subs in the game against Gabon assuming the needed result is not achieved on time. This for me should be the era of getting 3 or more goals before the 60th minute that is not to berate our opponents but from the last 2 games I think it is achievable. Chukwueze will start for me barring injuries and a Fred Onyeka will do well physically to give cover for Ekong and Bassey.

I see big clubs like Pyramids, Al Ahly, Esperance, Zamalek etc needing a competent goalkeepers why are they not going for him. Once upon a time a certain Willy Okpara left the shores of Nigeria to become the Number One man at Orlando Pirates and was instrumental in the Club and by extension South African Club first African Triumph. A goalkeeper can make 4 or more saves consistently in matches and still end up CONCEDING 2 flimsy goals in that and other matches.

You that confirms his performance is above par(and maybe you watched all his games so far for his club) should be magnanimous to post three or four CLUBSIDE videos. That's a sounder way to be convincing.

At the 1994 qualifiers for the World cup despite not CONCEDING a goal against SouthAfrica and Congo where Alloy Agu and Peter Rufai held sway and scoring 7, Westerhof and Bonfrere had to invite Agbonavbare for the next set of qualifiers what did you think could have been their reasons in retrospect? For me it was the likelihood of Agu faltering on the bigger podium while that of Rufai not featuring against Cote D'Ivoire and Algeria I cannot decipher.

In case you don't know and correct me if I am wrong Only Ejuke and Okoye did not partake in getting to this point. It is similar to kicking against the presence of Akor Adams in the Lesotho game.
Fisayo scored 2 important goals in his appearances for the Super Eagles and barring injury is a better option as a supporting midfielder. For me it is Ejuke ahead of Iwobi for the Gabon Match. Mind you , the NFF and Coaching crew have the final say.

If Lookman fails to heed to the advice, pull him out after the first 45minutes and push Iwobi to the left and introduce Bashiru.

Again this conversation is needless as this isn't even the crux of the argument, but I'll indulge you anyways.

The Italian and Turkish leagues were in the top 10. For want of time I would have unearthed other transfers as you specified top 10leagues which for me is a restriction designed to promote your point(nice effort though) but same cannot be applied in determining who you call up to the National team at that said time.
The crux of the argument was the matter of talent pool which I have already stated that we had and still do have but we don't have the right coaches to unearth them.
Take the 2005 U20 and the 2008 and 2016 U203as case studies. Samson Siasia especially in 2016 took his time touring the country and scouting for players and it showed in their playing style in the u23 AFCON 2015 which they won as well as the 2016 Olympic Bronze. The problem in the aftermath of the 2016 Bronze was seeming lack of continuity. You need a good coach who knows his onions to go round and unearth players for the National team. Etebo, Seth Sincere, and Azubuike Okechukwu were discovered from here.

Iwobi is not a central midfielder and he lacks traits of an AMF.

It's been long I followed our players abroad because of the way people want to dominate the team through the back door despite not adding anything to the team.


However, since I watched Chelsea matches, rI will recommend Chukwumeka who is better Central midfielder and AMF than what we have currently.

I will begin to scout from henceforth. We must go world cup but we can't play playoff with Ndidi and Iwobi. Ndidi not good like before again.
