bestman09:Bro, I think you made a mistake in your calculation. If your friend was 20yrs+ in 2002. He cannot be 45yrs in 2017 |
chibike69:All of you, calling Buhari a bastard. Can you see him one on one and tell him to his face? We should not abuse the supposed anonymity of the internet. |
I think this law was hastily thought out. 7 days is too short a time. In the UK, for example, National Express, Megabus and other coaches ply the cities...so why restrict coaches/buses to the fringes of the city of Lagos. I think the problem is traffic control/crowd control and proper sanitation of the surrounding premises of the transport companies. They can be compelled to sit up by arrests, towing vehicles and hefty fines. Moving all of them to the assigned bus-stops has its own issues security viz ease of terrorist attack due to clustering and 'agbero' fight for supremacy of the mega parks, loss of identity of the brands, more traffic on Ikorodu road as more people would be moving down to the stops to board vehicles just to mention a few. Just hope the Government consulted the experts/stakeholders before coming to a hasty decision. |
Afam4eva:If they react, you would say they have started. Now they are showing restraint, you are insulting them. I really wish you can see them one on one and say this to their face. |
I really hope can finish what they started. Why go an kill Hausa people without provocation ![]() This is really a case of 'trouble dey sleep, you go wake am' Nnamdi Kanu should take the fall for all this. |
He who the gods want to kill they first make mad |
First of all, most IPOBs I have met are very bitter and full of hate. I think this beclouds their sense of logic. PMB is greater than Kanu and is Kanu's President whether he likes it or not. If Kanu's bail conditions are revoked and he is rearrested. Nothing significant would happen....just IPOB protests. Soldiers would sent to the streets and kill a dozen or so people and all this rubbish would stop. Some Igbos have an unnecessary sense of arrogance and importance. This is pissing off other ethnic groups. PMB lost a golden chance to revoke the citizenship of Kanu and deport him back to the UK. Truth be told, Kanu has committed treason and I expected him to reach out to the Igbo elites and stakeholders to galvanize support for the referendum. He really had a good case. Instead what did he do, he openly violated his bail conditions and threatened that elections would not hold in Anambra. Then the Biafra Security Service organisation. Hasn't he got a deputy. All the photo shots are about him. True he has a lot of followers but most are people without influence, clout or cash to push through his Biafra.....and he needs the elites. I feel that the Igbo elites would the ones to sabotage his Biafra dream because it seems to be all about him. He seems to be an arrogant and selfish man that seeks attention. I mean, why would you allow/command people bow for you? Are you their god? Those Okada riders and 'apprentices' would not add anything to his fight and they would probably be the ones to snitch on him. Lets see how all this plays out. |
I know that stretch of dual carriageway, tippers usually drive in the opposite direction (one way). In as much as most Peace Mass Transit bus drivers are known to be reckless, I believe the bus driver ran into the tipper driving one way...so it might not be totally his fault. I also thought the FRSC mandated speed limiters to be installed on all commercial vehicles. Perhaps the Police and FRSC can mandate personnel to apprehend trippers driving one way on that road (why is reaching alarming levels). Finally passengers should scream at the drivers if they drive recklessly. Safety is a collective decision. |
A very dedicated warden. Saw him around the Sabo/Harvey/Jibowu axis. RIP Sir. |
I was in Port Harcourt last month and I can say that the current governor has worked on most roads. He has also installed traffic lights on most junctions on Aba Road restoring some measure of orderliness. However, the drivers/driving in PH need serious sanitisation. Most drivers there are simply accidents waiting to happen. Break all rules in the driving book. The international airport does not deserve that tag. Its a shed. Compared to most parts of Lagos the roads are smoother. Finally, I don't think its fair to compare Port Harcourt (which is a local government) to Lagos (which is a state) or Abuja (Capital). |
True, got the mail from WorldRemit too. Wonder what the policy makers at CBN are thinking!!! |
BABZIENE:Whose fault is it that the budget was released late? I expect the Government to fast track the procurement process since it was released late. With the recession, we don't need these kind of excuses. The comment is even an indictment of Government. Haba!! |
Atmmachine:@Atmmachine You said he incorporated Borisa Nigeria Limited. However, the directors say otherwise http://guardian.ng/features/businessman-faces-legal-action-over-publication/ |
However, the registrar had yet to respond to the request as of the time of publishing this story.I wonder why an unnamed official of a university would make such a statement. How then did the prospective students cross the border/airport to Nigeria? Abi dem use transcripts. |
Buchukwu:Very, very sick of you to post such. |
I don't believe this. Perhaps, the person has something else to do in London. ...But lets just assume some peeps attempt that crap and are deported back to Lagos. What would they do? Anyway, whoever does that simply has no use for money and time means nothing to them. |
I hope the Buhari Government would re-introduce the death penalty for drug trafficking as a deterrent... This is really getting out of hand. |
Isn't it strange that Lagos state has less accredited voters than Kano. |
@Mosaku A.W Thanks for your response, I called the customer service number of UPS but the lady at the other said the tracking number was invalid. Btw, how long did it take to get your passport? |
Pls has anyone used UPS via VFS Global to deliver your passport. I applied for a 2 year UK visa 3 weeks ago. It is the third time I am applying (I have been granted visa twice). I have emailed the VFS office but they said my passport has been forwarded to UPS, on the 17th of July. The curious thing is that the tracking number is invalid. ...and I am yet to receive the passport two days after. Has anyone had this experience before? |
