am typing this here because my fone did not have any disscussion thread. last week while an engineer was trying to open my fone the man mistakingly cut the flex of the volume key,and my fone is now brick,without the volume key i can't load the recovery mode.
My question is can carlcare help me to replace the volume key.
2nd question is there any method to get to recovery mode.
I own a laptop incase the method need pc

yea download and install android sdk.. after installing it.. ( download from this link: http://dl.google.com/android/android-sdk_r23.0.2-windows.zip )
go to the /platform-tools folder on your computer (it’s a sub-folder inside your
Android SDK). There, press Shift and right click with
the mouse, then select “Open Command Windows here”
In the window that opens, type the following:
"adb reboot recovery" (without quotes) and your phone will automatically boot to recovery ( if usb debugging was enabled before your phone got bricked ).. *if you don't understand what i posted wait till tomorrow i will send you step by step screenshot on how to do it (no light now) or just google search "boot to recovery mode using android sdk"

Even before now, read messages were double marked the only diff now is the blue color. So to me o, once I see the double mark( wether blue, black or green)I know the person has read my message. When the person doesnt read it its just a single mark.

false.. when it shows a single mark it means the message has been sent but not delivered.. double mark means the message has been delivered but that doesn't mean the person has read it, this is where the blue colour comes in.. if the double mark is blue it means the message has been read...

he can use 'B1 free archiver' to zip it..
i don't really know but after i zipped a 2gb file yesterday the compressed file became 700mb
