Here mate something basic.. $con is your database connection variable Edited: I just saw that you want to compare user's database password and the one being input, right? battery low now, I will upload it later the complete code. The one below will just work for sign in |
I actually did not buy via their website, I went straight to their office in Lagos, Arena - Oshodi. Usually to purchase from any e-shop, you will need to have an account, I mean register. I could sell the kit I bought, all still intact, except the arduino board, if you want. I had deployed the board for an IOT project and I build my boards myself now |
I have and they are genuine, I bought a complete kit for 15k then and still functions well |
Hi all, I have worked with the OP before and he is not what you termed him to be, and we understand that English language is an official language for communication, perhaps the language preference is an added advantage based on the OP's requirement and note that I am not Yoruba |

Vicben:Thanks for mentioning me as I am yet to see this post. Now to the topic, Nairaland has reached its developmental stage (legacy), on many occasions, members of this forum, especially from the programming section contribute their suggestions on how to make the forum better but Seun gives little or no attention to people's suggestion why do you think I should bother myself now? I am sure nairaland codes and features has remained untouched for years and if not for Mark, Seun will continue to be in his comfort zone, while his advert system (which I believe is baised) will continue to generate money for him. Let Seun go and ask Mark for help, we are not bounty hunters as he claimed, we are professionals, he should see us as one. Thank you |

paranorman:Glad to know |
Javanian:I guess people have the same book you read and make more use of the internet these days, this forum hasn't been "moderator driven" for years, most people are getting their facts from whatsapp group these days...nice to know you are back, right? |
OP I see what you have done here but you need to make it generic. Add an Admin Panel where the school will setup classes as much as they have, fees, subjects as much as they have, result grading system such that pass or fail percentages will be set so that you also won't need users to select remarks, it would be automatically selected by the system... In order words, you don't need all those dropdown fields. Let users setup the name of school, add their logo, choose colour themes, register a web server and use cloud database (but you can allow for offline databse too), so that you don't have security issues and unwanted access to database. The cloud database is the new normal as students can check, print their results even with a scratch card (to generate continuous income for you and the school) which will be generated by your school management software through your admin panel. Keep in mind that in marketing, you either come up with a solution that will bring in profit for your client or a solution that will reduce cost or stress. If your app can't do those, then you might as well not build it |
dhtml18:I observed that there was no more fuss as it were before too...even globallink is "Interesting" |

Preboy:True |
chukstem:Chukstem pls I want to know what's happening here... I checked your link and saw your post seeking for a partner. Is this OP your proposed partner, did you work on this project together? |

Post your codes clearly, let's see the line 8 |
yunglary:Sometimes people have urge to decompile apps in order to learn one or two things, but it won't hurt if you still ask for permission, you might even get more from the owner, you can't tell. We should try to respect other people's work, they have invested, time, money, so many other resources, sacrificed a lot, some programmers even have family issues during those nights of countless minutes because they hardly have time for their wife and children, trying to make a meaning from thousands of lines of codes that seem not to work until they eventually get it right. About decompilers, yes they are useful but more useful to the software developer in case they do not have access to the source code. I personally developed my decompiler to decompile my softwares, in fact I mistakenly formatted my backup twice and all I did was to decompile "my executables" and worked with the source generated. Sometimes I get calls for update I am not prepred for but my decompiler is always with me, I decompile the app, add the update and compile again. Do you feel it is right to ask for permission? |
yunglary:I see you have taken time to read through and understand what we are saying too. Why did it take you this long to clarify yourself? I thought you were resolute on your stand point? Calling people who you probably haven't met, foolish, is never a good way to get assistance and the "only one" who you thought defended you, did nothing, get a good "lawyer" next time! As a programmer, I belong to that group of few who believes decompiling other "people's work" without express permission is not just the best way to go about these things. Anyways, who am I to tell you what is not but I tell you one thing, good work ethics pays and I wish you the best as you continue to strive to carve a niche for yourself in this troubled world. |
