Politics › Re: US Bill On Nigeria Claims Chinese Illegal Miners Pay Fulani Militias For... by Cognitivereason: 7:20am On Feb 13 |
ADAMUdaCOWBOY: You may be right but it doesn't matter, they should go ahead and check the Chinese. I am a northerner, Incase you don't know, Chinese men are in the heart of Zamfara, mining in areas where indigenes dare not go! They not only pat herdsmen for protection, they pay to perpetuate the violence so they can perpetuate their looting while our attention stays far away. The Chinese miners are likely not illegal.. if they, that is a different case. Paying levies to terrorist to protect their business is not a crime, they are not the ones who brought in terrorist. Same way, kidnap victims paying ransom to terrorist kidnappers is not a crime.. The US should go after the terrorist not the victims. Why can't the US sanction the Nigerian government who publicly pay billions in ransom to fulanis terrorist to release kidnap victims. The US want to use Nigeria as a proxy in their quest against the Chinese. |
Politics › Re: US Bill On Nigeria Claims Chinese Illegal Miners Pay Fulani Militias For... by Cognitivereason: 7:16am On Feb 13 |
Heffalump: Some of you like hiding from the truth. What exactly do you mean? Even Fulani militias and social media netizens of Fulani extraction have confirmed this allegation in the past. The Chinese are not here with clean hands. Have you seen China or Russia ever bothered about the insecurity in Nigeria and Africa as a whole? They're all benefiting from the civil unrest and terrorism. Are you serious?. Honest question Again , are you serious? .is it Chinese and Russian businesses that should be fighting the messing Nigeria? Stop being emotional.. It is not the Chinese fault Nigeria is the epic center of insecurity. Same way Nigerians will do anything to bribe the police to travel interstate trip, pay ransom to kidnappers to free victims and levies to terrorist to exempt their communities from attack. The US should equally sanction Nigerians too.. Has the US sanctioned Shell for their atrocities in Ogoni land? Why did the US not use Shell not fight Niger delta avengers. |

Sheuns: An average Chinese will do whatever it takes to secure his source of income.
Crimes they can’t commit in their country, they do here in Africa because our corrupt politicians allow them. Stop being emotional.. It is not the Chinese fault Nigeria is the epic center of insecurity. Same way Nigerians will do anything to bribe the police to travel interstate trip, pay ransom to kidnappers to free victims and levies to terrorist to exempt their communities from attack. Politics › Re: Expert Faults Appointment Of Akinbamilayo As Enugu Forest Guards’ Commander by Cognitivereason: 8:24am On Jun 25, 2025 |
Lovit: Hope you will say the same thing when an Ibo man is appointed to head Amotekun in Ondo state?
The appointment is wrong, allow qualified indigenes to head the Enugu forest guard. Tinubu and the Fulanis has been playing games with insecurity,
The FG and the Fulanis are sponsors on insecurity in Nigeria Competency does not lie in being indigenous.. Indigenes are likely to flop the whole thing in a favour of their criminal brothers who are complicit.. At best let the chief understand the local dialect..if he does plus his pedigree .he is more than qualified.. This is security..it knows no tribe .. let's stop being tribalistic.. The only excuse here is not even whether he can perform..the status quo is whether Yoruba states will do the same for an Igbo man... how is that the problem or the solution of the security crises |
Politics › Re: Expert Faults Appointment Of Akinbamilayo As Enugu Forest Guards’ Commander by Cognitivereason: 8:19am On Jun 25, 2025 |
Advancedman: Because they don't want it to work same as police, appointing stranger to deal with core indigenous issues.
Local terrain to be managed by total alien. Security issues knows no tribe... it's not a core indigenous issue.. If the man is competent so be it.. The enemies are not even Igbo neither do they speak Igbo what competitive advantage does an igbo security chief bring You are just sentimental.. If an Igbo man is appointed security chief of a city in the western world..you will not say all this nonsense..proof that you are part of the problem.. Bigotry and tribalism before common sense |

Education › Re: FG Considering Convertion Of Colleges Of Education To Universities - Minister by Cognitivereason: 4:58pm On Jan 29, 2025 |
ayo2008: Why kill colleges of Education. No wonder we have half-baked teachers.
Is unfortunate the country has not had a credible and intelligent Minister of Education for decades in this country.
Is sad Universities produce better teachers than College of education. If you run a top notch private school.. I can bet it that.. you will never go for the option of recruiting only graduates from colleges of education |
Education › Re: FG Considering Convertion Of Colleges Of Education To Universities - Minister by Cognitivereason: 4:54pm On Jan 29, 2025 |
GboyegaD: How would a university of education be different from a college of education from s name change perspective? Why are they only concerned about the number of students and not other important things such as the curriculum, academic faculty strength, etc? What proposal are they putting forth to ensure the academic faculty strength is improved? How are the institutions going to be funded considering the available universities are currently underfunded? Abeg, his justification lacks merit. Once it becomes a Uni, every features of a uni is going to be adopted.. obviously there is going to be restructuring.. You are acting like it hasn't been done before. By the way, there is a whole lot of difference between holding a degree in education compared to what ever that is awarded from college of education |
Crime › Re: EFCC Arrests 37 Suspected Internet Fraudsters In Anambra by Cognitivereason: 6:28am On Jan 23, 2025 |
Your point doesn't make any sense Because they didn't arrest fraudsters in Lagos mean they should leave the ones in the south east .. they are all criminals.. Even if they concentrate on flushing criminals in the south east that should be good news to you as it is helping to improve security in your region.. Leaving criminals to be comfortable in another region shouldn't bother you. So if it is ritualist or kidnapper which are rampant in Anambra..you will equally complain that Nigerian agencies have left Ogun state to focus on south east.. imagine your mentality Umuinyioku: Yes, shameless and one sided raid.
How many have they arrested in Lagos and other South western states where internet fraud is very prevalent. Just less than a week ago, some bunch of idiots went harassing people in Amawbia Awka at odd hours. They had no search warrant. Even though they identified themselves as EFCC operatives. In the process, one of the impostors from Sokoto lost his life in the sleaze.
Now,same EFCC is still harassing the people. Southeast is now the new hub for lawlessness.
Anyway,if southeast leaders are proactive, this nonsense from EFCC won't persist.
EFCC should stop harassing easterners. They should go round other states to validate their service.
Same EFCC couldn't arrest Yahaya Bello who stole Kogi State blind. It was later we were told they succeeded in arresting him.
EFCC needs Total overhauling in crime management. |

ribbit: no dunderhead.
That's not his job to build cell towers into communities without network. That's MTN and investment problem and lack of proper regulations which he is also fails to Do.
The likes of MTN make humongous profits every year and refuse to invest it back into their networks but instead repatriate those monies back to their countries in south Africa or India because there is no proper regulations.
The clown you are defending recently approved price raise for these same networks to make more dubious profits, without conditions to improve the networks and internet penetration. It's not entirely dubious profit .. service providers have maintained almost a constant fee for calls and data..even after T pain has raised the average price of every commodity by at least X2.. |

All these confused people insulting him...
Nigeria's internet services have been sluggish..one for the slowest speeds in the world..
Some communities still don't have cell phone towers or mast.
And you think funding isn't part of the issue..
Some people calling for his sack..like is that the problem on ground?

The only one who hasn't keyed in on Wike's developmental influence is Deaconess Mrs. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, but it's never late for him. Ugwuanyi has more projects than those two bozos in abia and benue |
