Eriokanmi: Enough said with no intention to rubbish the government or anyone. I'm aware of some of the achievements of this govt too but that doesn't mean when the truth is said, some people would take it personal, no! I didn't say no licences were issued. Go and ask the few you mentioned how they fought with their teeth, among many who had applied. The truth which many of you don't realise is, there's a lot of vested inretest in the subsidy regime. These people would never allow anything work. That's what's also killing the major refineries we had. Sadly, it's beyond buhari himself.
In the niger delta for instance, there were illegal refineries who were refining good quality diesel and selling to the market. It doesn't cost an arm and a leg to build a modular refinery but because of the reasons mentioned above, they'd never allow it work. I recall how much Edo fought for their modular refinery which is expected to commence operation before end of this year. It's not just at an advanced stage as you said. It's actually been completed. This isn't about politics but the hard fact. The Buhari's administration could have performed below expectations but in some areas, especially infrastructure, they tried.
I'd not do any copy and past here. You can Google these facts yourself and read at your convenience. read my previous mentions I do not comment based on emotions or hatred but on fact please.. petroleum product from illegal refineries ARE NOT GOOD QUALITY... I don't know why on earth you will think such.. you think the process starts and end at boiling the crude to specific temperatures for specific products... NO SIR! there are levels of purification that has to be done..even the crude oil has to be purified to get rid of unwanted elements like sulphur.. a whole lots happens to the end product after fractional distillations.. the level of purifications determines the grades... Dangote refinery for example will produce Euro V quality..that is the highest quality by international standards.. you can never compare that to what our dead refineries used to produce or the ones we import from cheap rusty refineries abroad.. why do you think NNPC rejected low quality fuel some months ago which lead to scarcity or are you not in Nigeria when people went on twitter to complain about what they bought a that time.. if port harcourt refinery starts producing today and they export to europe..europe will reject the it sharp sharp...you think fuel is something you just heat crude and viola you have fuel? I don't know why you display such infuriating gross ignorance... so you mean you can confidently use those locally refined fuel for your car? maybe you don't own a car. you saying it doesnt cost an arm and leg to build a modular refinery is just a joke.. go and ask Jimoh Ibrahim and his own refinery project.. you think say na beans... you think modular refineries are any different from standard refineries?..what makes them modular is that their components can be shipped in modular forms and assembled easily.. back to the licenses. see bro stop this |

Osinbajo tried to make it work but the power that be would never allow it happen. oga .. what is the system and how is it fustrated.. look at the rubbish you typed.. if licenses have been issued and the funds are there...what else can block an investor..stop being emotional by the way waltersmith refinery is up and running jimoh ibrahim is building his own modular refinery in delta state edo state modular refinery is in advance stages of being completed stop spready propaganda

franchasofficia: It is unfortunate that Nigeria doesn't have real daring investigative journalists and media houses ready to unravel mysteries.
I am saying this because APC is the sponsor of unknown gunmen in Southeast as a way to disenfranchise Igbos in 2023 from getting Presidency.
The group secretly funding the unknown gunmen are so scared of Obi's fast rising influence among Nigerian youths of all tribes because their initial plan was to use Biafra agitation propaganda to rig Igbo Presidential candidates out of APC race since they know Northerners are so scared and emotional about anything Biafra agitation. So they planned to box Igbo politicians one side and force them to flee to PDP where they will then use unknown gunmen to ensure election in Southeast gets low voter turnout.
Unfortunately for them, by divine precedence Obi came out from nowhere and now coasting to victory and sending fear into their camps as they no longer sing their usual songs of:
power is not given, it is taken, Igbos should stop begging Yorubas for power and work for it by grabbing it through playing politics like Yorubas are playing.
They no longer mock Igbos to go to PDP to ask for their right that PDP is an Igbo party.
Their song have changed to Obi is a liar, INEC should disqualify Obi for trying to raise campaign money from Nigerians living abroad.
God will shame you all in 2023, wait and see so APC sponsored UGM to be killing police men and the military.. just listened to what you are saying when Kanu was still hiding in the UK.. UGM were attacking checkpoints and killing security officers on a weekly basis..so your saying kanu was receiving sponsorship from APC to do that.. this is how you think when you allow hate and emotions to cloud your brain.. but when the army goes to brutalize the UGM, your type will say that the UGMs are innocent the army should be in the north |

Who in his right senses still in intact would downplay the significance of road infradtructure to economic progress? Only an animal would think otherwise.
Let me educate you, road infrastructure affects the flexibility and mobility of the workforce, which is reflected in the employment level. Should I break it down for your coconut water filled tiny head to absorb?
Moreover, do you know that the degree to which the road infrastructure is developed has an impact on several areas, such as for instance the development of tourism, influx of foreign investments, regional development,
Hater of good news! Are your brothers and sisters not also running to Lagos and Abuja because of the opportunities available there, due to how skewed your useless country is structured?
Learn to conduct yourself like human if truly you are one. Nonesense! all these doesnt change the fact that the person you quoted isnt wrong.. there are state who can't boast of the infrastructure in akwa ibom state but have better economic potentials and avenues for people to live and make money.. anambra and abia state are such examples.. as rotten as Abia ..that state is more industrialized than Akwa ibom.
the governor while building this and airlines that 0.5% of akwa ibom will never fly.. let him build a sea port...
akwa ibom state budget is around 600 billion(2nd highest in Nigeria)...this can fund a deep sea port..if Udom wants it... the money he used to buy 6 jets for the fruitless airline can fund a port in the state and a free trade zone..
Akwa ibom just like Rivers state are like Lagos even if you vote in a mad man to govern these states will still perform because the revenues are there |

It's basically an upgrade from the old narrow gauge to the new Standard gauge. Stop making indirect and baseless comparative reference just to score dubious political points. Kindly stop this nonsense. lies
the Lagos Kano line was never initiated by GEJ but by Obasanjo.. he initiated it but never laid a single block.
GEJ started the first line from Abuja to kaduna..that is the first phase..and Buhari was the one who fully completed that line and commissioned it.
Buhari started and completed the second phase from lagos to ibadan
YOU WILL NOT DIE IF YOU GIVE CREDIT TO BUHARI for this onethere is no such thing as upgrade.. the narrow guage line still exist.. |

onyerhuku: If only u can stop reasoning from your anus before u talk, it will be appreciated, cattle rearing is a private business just like poultry, piggery, snail farming etc, most herders don't contribute any tax to govt but u want it to become govt duty to build ranches where herders can do their private biz, is that how u use your private biz to affect those around u? Those cattle they sell, who benefits from the proceeds? In a sane society, we won't even be talking about this farmers-herders clashes becos both are private businesses, if i want to open a poultry, i have to bear the cost, herders should build their ranches and rear their cattles in peace, its not govt duty to do it. the bolded alone is proof that you have no clue about what is causing the farmer herder clash and the realities of the situation anyways... india did the same thing years ago.. today India is the world largest exporter of beef and milk in the world..yes i said world largest..they battled with cows roaming abouts and farmer-herder clashes.. inshort indians had religious superstitions about cows ...their government independently handled the construction of large ranches at the early stage..today india supplies the highest amount of beef and milk in the world.. i guess they reasoned through their anus.. if ranches were private business why did their government step.. understand the dynamics of every business before you talk... this is not just me blabbing ..I am making references to other countries who suffered the same issues and solved it using the same methods..
