stuffs4me:rest...this was not committed by church members but by Muslims of Ebira possibly fulani or hausa tribe under the sponsorship of ISWAP |
stuffs4me:dont be f00lish either why will a church member, a catholic mastermind such to what gain? that incident couldnt have been carried out by none other than terrorist who are largely muslim.. |
it best they release their faces and parade them... names are not enough |
stuffs4me:just keep quiet or say You want to see fulani names not kogi |
lexy2014:you asked such question because you doubt it.. in infrastructural projects ..Buhari outclass any administration between 1999 and 2015..the only administration that comes close is that of Ibrahim babangida and Abacha.. if want an argument (which you want) mention all the flagship projects done by OBJ, yar adua and GEJ...then I will mention all the projects completed and will be completed under Bubu's tenure |
luluosas:lol..so that is all a whole OBJ can do..even the federal road that leads to obasanjo's farm in ota and his home is under construction by this same administration then what about yar adua and GEJ combined they also spent 8 years in office.. the only road they built is the enugu- bamenda highway which they didnt even complete...and the enugu-onitsha highway which they did not even 50%of the total length..anambra state government built some parts including the iconic flyovers... buhari started and completed the lagos ibadan railline (over N600 billion /$1.6bn) and extended it to the apapa port which is still ongoing.. the Lagos - ibadan expressway that obasanjo claimed he built and GEJ claimed he is building(N300bn+) apapa - oworonshoki-ojota (10 lane concrete highway for N97 billion), 2nd niger bridge that GEJ started on paper(N414 billion naira), 2nd ikom bridge(N9 billion), bodo-bonny bridge (N120 billion)..ikorodu-sagamu (N30 billion).. 376km abuja-kaduna-kano highway(N779 billion naira), 222km abuja-keffi-akwanga-lafia-makurdi expressway with the rehabilitation of the benue river bridge, porthacourt-aba(10 lanes),lagos abeokuta highway ... there is no administration that has invested this much into infrastructural projects compared to Buhari..the only administration that comes close that of ibrahim babangida and Abacha... funny enough some of these projects have been commissioned..most are over 80% completion and will be commissioned before his tenure...the only project that can never be completed within this administration's tenure is kaduna -kano railline, lagos-abeokuta and abuja-kaduna-kano highway |
jimcaddy:first of all...let be honest this government has more capital projects than the entire 16 years of presidents who ruled under the opposition..you cannot deny that fact..otherwise mention one project you can remeber obasanjo for ,GEJ or even yar adua...but there are projects that no matter how you anyone hates Buhari...he/she will will always know he is responsible for there is no realistic way of cutting government expenditure to save something significant...except you want to cut the salaries of federal government workers(from the military, para military to all civil servant)...and cut from the insufficient cost of delivery some services to the country....the only thing you want government to do is to cut from their own salaries especially that of the national assembly because it is only their salaries and allowances that are unjustifiable compared to the presidents... this year NASS budgeted N134bn...if that money is reduced by half(which is impossible because no senator will approve it)...N62bn isnt what is sufficient to match growth and development...plus you should know that the reduction is more in the hands of NASS than in the president some of you dont know that the development of the country doesnt rest in the hands of buhari alone...states, LGA has shares in it.. even if Peter Obi wins...he cant push this country faf if he was to depend currently on what Nigeria earns as a country..otherwise he will end up borrowing loans |
lexy2014:it not in the wrong direction either...if that is what is needed to generate more revenue to service debts, subsidies etc... assuming you were not cynical... why will 5% charges on airtime and data push operators to double their prices instead of only increasing it by 5% only...that should be your concern instead of the taxes.. you think we will ever get better if we continue to depend on Oil revenues only..even Obi knows this and his being cunny about it..if the country should get any better...fuel subsidies will have to end..we should begin to begin to see toll plazas for better roads..power sector will have to be deregulated so that those who bought part of the sector will see their profit and be willing to invest in it... when VAT was increased from 5% to 7.5%.. services from banking, utilities like electricity etc..only increased by an extra 2.5%..how can we have gdp of $410bn+ and only 6% tax to gdp ratio...mention one developed or developing country you will find such.. |
Olurondo:And where do you expect the government to get Financing for all this?.. Isn't through taxes . Hope you know that most of the spendings by state and LGA comes from federal allocations.. federal allocations are generated mostly from custom duties and taxes... |
bukatyne:. It N1.4bn.. |
bukatyne:Nigeria has benefited a lot from grants as well...we have received more than N30 billion in one day from a single country in aids and grants..those countries were in the heat of covid at that time..sending N1.4 to another is no biggy..but that contract is filled with a fireball of corruption who buys 10 vehicles for a billion plus |

emmy9500:they will not point a gun at you if you do not resist an arrest |
Uzosaint:Didnt you read the part from Oseni's tweet where he said he wanted to pay but they didnt want his money |
VeeVeeMyLuv:Zambia rededominated their currency in 2012 by removing 3 extra zeros their actual conversion should be $100 = 1,634,880 Zambian Kwacha where as $100 = 71,100 Nigerian naira many african countries love redenominating in order to hide how almost worthless their currency is or to hide the rate at which it has been devalued numerically |
The witch forgot to include the fact that their currency was redenominated in 2012 by removing the 3 extra zeros nonsense same way Ghana is claiming better currency than Nigeria when they also redenominated theirs in 2007 https://african.business/2012/03/economy/zambia-redenominates-the-kwacha/ if emiefele should come and introduce that dirty policy of removing two zeros from naira same thing Soludo wanted to do when he was in office.. this will mean that $1 = N7.17 instead of N717 does it change the fact that the value is still down..bunch of clowns still doesnt change the fact that Tinubu and Atiku have expired |

fear who no fear Ogun state |
Mrtaye:it is not...we currently have atleast 12 drones...but this figures makes it unreliable..in the sense that ..some group of soilders provide security to a school cant just other one to come to their aid immediately |
richiepolymer:lol... what is needed here are not ur DJI kind of drones.. this drones cost billions to purchase just one...not ur 500k kind of drone we are talking of wingloong , predator type of drones operated by airforce.. these are thick bushes not highways.. even an armed helicopter can never spot them..except they have sensor balls/ electro optical targeting system with thermal imagery...this sensor balls are damn expensive and also require diplomatic approach to acquire
|
The army did well on this one....What the need to be equipped with is hand held or portable drones with infra red or thermal imagery to give them clear visuals on what overhead.. some asking why there insufficientre not drones..How many ISR and armed drones does the airforce have into total ..not more than 12.. that is grossly insufficient. there is also not enough synergy between the army and airforce...most times this is normal..this is why many countries try to bridge this gap by creating an Army aviation corp.. the Nigerian army has newly already created one ..but lacks aircrafts |
onuman:you are not even aware of the issue..just spilling nonsense out of ignorance....the state that have adopted sharia laws..are bandit and boko boys not operating? all u IPIG people sef |
Everlastingson:the first bolded is necessary as you guys who claim educated and obidient do not understand basic economic principles and the realities that obstruct Nigeria's progress no government looted more than in abacha tenure...you claim that this government looted more is solely based on emotions and hatred for this government rather than proven facts you need to understand that stealing of public funds is not directly the cause of economic disasters or high rate of currency devaluation..Abacha alone stole money in USD that can cater for some geopolitical zones for 2 years..money that we are still fighting to recover from foreign banks..yet foreign reserves increased from around 400 million USD to over 9bn USD before he died...He fought inflation from 54% where he met it after he dethroned Shonekan to 8.5% when he died..let me not even go into the oil revenues...and the same guy looted over 2bn USD...(N1.4 trillion in todays money) go and read history b4 u argue blindly..Abacha made all this achievement due to the Oil booms..the same oil booms that made saudi arabia and UAE what they are today because they used theirs better.. your claim that there were no lootings in Obi time is total falacy..you want to tell me all the monies disbursed to house of assembly memebers were utilized judiciously including those all allocated to his cabinet and even LGA...please mention one main project done in anambra in Peter Obi's glory.. Obiano is the best governor of anambra especially in infrastrucuture..you think he continued in the trend of savings anambra will be what he is today?..have you heard of the pandora papers..inshort let me stop here between 1993 and 2016 $6.06bn was spent on TAM..pls was buhari in power in any of these years..aside 2016 where the money spent was coming from approvals done and being disbursed by GEJ..by 2016..PMB terminated any contract and for that period ..not a single penny was approved for TAM ... if you have any one for that billions wasted for TAM..question OBJ,GEJ,yar adua, abdulsalami...etc.. moving on NNPC and the finance minister at that time (kemi Adeosun) were instructed to devise another may of getting that refinery to work without the money from from FG accounts..Kemi and the NNPC boss at that time brought in the orginal builders of the refineries and asked them to carry out an accessment of what they built..after all negotiations and agreement done ..PMB approved their request of $1.5bn to start PH refinery..the funds comes from Private investors in form of loans to fix the refinery..today PH refinery is under complete overhaul ..we see the out come of the different approach by PMB next year compared to the last 4 administrations who siphoned public funds in the name of TAM...according to the orginal builders PH refinery will process 60,000bpd ..it at the end it does work..then you can now call Buhari a thief.. https://guardian.ng/saturday-magazine/cover/refineries-endless-tam-as-money-guzzling-scheme/ Obi manifesto is to transform Nigeria from consuming to producing economy..the question is how..is it by producing cars and phones or what exactly..if his aim is not to bring back our refineries to cut fuel imports then he will fail woefully...we import fuel and petrochemicals more than any bloody item you can think of..yall think producing economy is when we start empowering aba people to make more shoes and clothes or producing our own cars,..your joking...all of these things will eventually prove to be useless if we do not produce fuel and the necessary petrochemical products.. FYI fuel and petrochemical imports swallows more than 30% of our reserves..any body who is looking at producing something else other than this is wasting his time..Emiefele and PMB believed this is what we need to save our economy and naira not saving money or reducing any cost of governance..this is why PMB instructed CBN to pump billions of forex to Dangote in CBN exchange rate to quicken it construction.he terminated TAM and brought a new approach to fix the Fg owned refineries ..There is now a huge market for gas..PMB borrowed loans to finance pipelines to europe through AKK project... anyone who will abandon any of this laudable progress to save money and produce unnessary items will fail... |
twentyfivekobo:you must realise that it is impossible to make a switch from Oil as a major export to something else..especially when there are no investments into sectors that can make that switch..that is why this government is investing in Gas by building pipelines that wil eventually connect to europe..that is viable resource that can increase the complexity of the economy..no government invested in it ..this government is investing in it as the necessary requirement to make a switch.. as for number 3, I wonder if you live in Nigeria..do you think Government doesnt know it is truly a wasted venture subsidizing fuel..when diesel was deregulated as wells as LPG and those in the business are allowed to determine the pricing..were Nigerians smiling ? now you want the same for PMS? even when we still import it? ![]() most people are measuring economic growth y the strength of the currency..naira value is losing on the black market..this isnt as a result of any policy from CBN or the finance minister...in short no policy can ever counteract the fact that naira value will continue to go down.. This is why we need to start cutting imports starting with the ones that eat up our foreign reserves the most..which is fuel..other government failed in this...this government supported Dangote to start his refinery early enough...something should have happened way early if not because we had daft leaders like Yar adua who ignored him and wicked state governors at that time who didnt want to sell lands.. trust me the only way to reduce the rate of naira devaluation is to ban fuel import leave manufacturing of tech items and machineries for now no government tenure has ever withness three global economic shocks caused by 2014 Oil slump, 2020 covid 19, 2022 russia and ukraine which affected diesel prices and pushed inflation further.. if you give this same country with the same realities to GEJ to manage..it will much worse...same with Peter Obi that thinks the solution is saving money and ignoring loans..I really want Obi to become president so that when he gets to that seat and see the realities he will tell Nigerians his talks were all for deceit and campaign |
JIBO4REAL:if they ban import of basic and major food items like wheat , maize and rice...where are will going to get them from..Nigeria doesnt produce enough to meet quarter of our needs.. if we ban petroleum imports today...where do we get fuel to use .all the FG refineries are dead, Dangote is yet to complete his own, many modular refineries are still under construction ![]() |
Blackdisciple:na you know how the market works ..oshey |
okeysoninv:is shell a Nigerian company to begin with..what makes you think they will give to CBN all their dollars and take naira to the US their home country.. look dear....Forex earnings is not the matter of plus and minus.. no financial body has never reported excess of 70bn USD of forex earned through exports ..and they have never reported that figure is what we should earn by mere adding and subtracting... |
okeysoninv:first, there is no figure there for me to see second, your screenshot doesnt contain anything referring to the earning of crude oil and gas companies. third, you are confused as I have never mentioned anything related to government revenue neither do my links lead to anything related to revenues but foreign exchange earnings through exports forth, Nigeria has never recorded 200bn USD worth of export earnings... if you think so show me proof where it was clearing stated Nigeria earned 200bn USD forex through exports otherwise go to sleep my friend. |
okeysoninv:no body asked you to screenshot what we produce and it quantity as well as price.. exports and imports are not straightforward arithmetics of adding and multiplying otherwise that your figure is what will be globally reported... show me screenshot of any renowned auditing firm that reports $150bn forex gains annual.. you are free to post any year ..in short go as far as fetching data from Obasanjo and GEJ tenure, when Soludo, Sanusi were CBN governors, fetch the data as at when Okonjo Iweala was serving finance minister since you think the problem is Buhari and Emiefele... there were even years during GEJ were Oil hit $100/ba and we produced 1.8 million barrels per day at some point 2.2 million...fetch me any evidence that analyst just punched casio calculated the multiplied it to give you over $150bn including gas exports just prove to me that any renowned business and economic analyst, newspaper or firms including Bloomberg, world trade organisation, Reuters, OEC, Statista, NBS..etc report Nigeria's export in excess of 70bn USD in any year I will take you seriously when you show me proof I am waiting |
