Crazy market manipulation. One can't even be too careful as the candles pump and dump like flash. Ethereum was never this volatile, even Bitcoin. Everything just feels re-engineered.

I'm down over $5k since last month on liquidations. All my fault. Should have remained in spot. Finally been shaking out of the market tonight with that Eth flash dump to 3400. No more stables to buy the dip. It's bye crypto till further notice.

Sometimes I feel like holding on to what I have and just be content, but that breeds stagnation no? To grow we must forge ahead — and that's how I got here. Over and over again, we give up the bird at hand for the illusion of more; but what to do? 😄

External total sqm is 306. Assuming the tfr height is 3.3 meters.
You would need 6 drums for the external wall.
Internal wall has partitions and has more surface area. The internal shouldn't require more than 5 drums notwithstanding the measurements though.

I'm a bit confused sir. Please break it down further. That's how many total now for everything.

I only gave estimate for the inside. Actual quantity needed depends on size. Some living room and dining could require a drum and half and master bedroom a drum or even each rooms a drum each depending on the size and height of the rooms.
For standard quantity based on experience; 4 buckets for the walls inside and 3 buckets for the ceiling, 4 buckets for the external wall and if it has windowhood, parapet, pillar, artwork etc, add 1 drum extra. If there's fence depending on the plot of land it is, add 4 to 6 drums.
You may send me measurement of the place for a more accurate quantities needed.

And my Painter is saying he has used 6 buckets of Matte on just my Pop ceiling inside. And 3 buckets of Satin for just my masters, one visitor room, parlor and Ante room.

That's 9 buckets and the job isn't half done. He is estimating I will use 15 buckets.

How do you guys cope with some of these artisans. You give them a job and most of them never deliver the specs you want. There must be an error somewhere. No matter how little. Sometimes you just have to let go and make do with what they deliver else you will have no rest. 😀

From the POP guy doing very good inside and then making a mess outside with a slant job. To the frameless windows guy doing some windows that doesn't fit and hanging a few others inappropriately.😀 Then the Tiler did good jobs everywhere else but the bathroom.

They never give you a 💯% detailed job. When you complain, it sounds like you are asking for too much. To get what you want you have to be there and monitor the whole thing. Else they just do it haphazardly. Even when you ask them to redo, you will be spending extra on materials. Lose-lose situation. Sadly.

How can I forget the welder for the entrance gate. Nice simple job. Then forgot to file some welded areas. Leaving the otherwise beautiful job looking tacky.

Now, these are all very good artisans. If you see the finished job you will believe me. They have the capacity and capability to deliver the best. My question is, why shortchange? Why not give your best from the beginning to the end? We need to do better as a people, please.

Their defense is usually that I look at the tiny details and a lot of persons are not interested in that. So they get away with this everywhere else. Really? These people stressed the hell out of me.

Anyway, thank heavens we are done now. Thanks to everyone of you here who have contributed and still contributing to making this thread so invaluable. Wouldn't have done this without you all.

I bought some of these supposed turkey wooden doors at 150k each. Needed two extra for kitchen and sitting room. My furnituremaker then suggested he could make the same door quality and design for lower price.

Sitting room door: 120k
Kitchen door: 80k.

Ready made HDF Doors are similar to the ones we do at site just that they come with a specific size (standard door size), whereas the ones we do are custom made based on the spaces we have for it. So in terms of quality, once they are HDF made up, it's same.
