Raymondenyi:Care to tell us why? |
I'd walk away. Simple as. |
Wow! But she shoulda seen this coming and resigned honourably. How on earth did she think Buhari would not exact his pound of flesh after all her vituperations against him and his party. I'm not going to lie,if i'm in the president's shoes i'd likely do the same |
I'm in the same boat too. My missus is a hardcore born again Christian, while i'm a hardcore Atheist. I respect and tolerate her beliefs and she has managed to armtwist me into attending some services and crusades where i stuck out like sore thumb watching them gyrating, praying endlessly and some speaking some gibberish in what they refer to as tongue speaking. The issue of our differing paths have come up severally and i've made it categorically clear i'm never returning to the faith knowing what i know now. But i've proven to her one doesn't need to be a Christian to do what is right or be principled. She often says 'you're good man,a good father with a good heart. All you need is god to complete you'. And i reply 'sorry aint gonna happen. Not in this lifetime'. |
MosquitoLaps:I'm not gay |
MosquitoLaps:Let me state for the record that i never asked anyone to make any sacrifices on my behalf. In fact, far be it from me to suggest such a wicked and diabolic act of anybody. I'm not into blood fetish. |
Number 1 & 3 are hell bound. But number 2 is on his way to heaven already because the almighty god still needs money to attract more customers to his fold. |
I'm looking forward to my onward trip to hell. I can't wait to meet people of like minds for some serious faji. Heaven must be a seriously boring place i can't even. |
Gaborone:You're free to practice your religion any way you wish. But it is also within the doctor's right and jurisdiction to save lives irrespective of your beliefs. If anyone is so convinced in the existence of some god and his healing powers, why visit the hospital at all? Why not just pray your sicknesses away and also focus on faith healings Chris Oyakilome style? The legislation if it comes to fruition will be a welcome development. As an afterthought, isn't it perplexing god had to create Atheists and scientists to solve the problems faith and prayers were supposed to solve?

Can't blame you bro |
Buhari is acting like a typical Nigerian. When you point out his failings, rather than admit he has erred he'll scream 'i know what i'm doing' 'are you trying to teach me my job?' Sir,you have no idea what you're doing. Pre election you vowed to crush boko haram within months. And bring back the Chibok girls i might add. You recanted the latter and so far close to 700 dead in your first few weeks in office without any commensurate success by the military since you assumed office. Who ever said progress was a slow process must have been talking about you. |
He was an enigma,no doubt. |
Meanwhile, the new service chiefs are still strategising. People are dying. This administration is so slow it's not even funny. Nobody wants to hit the ground running. Let's see how long it will take this new military top brass to get their act together. At this rate we'll be lucky if we start seeing result in the next month or so. Nobody seems too bothered at the moment. |
Lol..ok |
oduastates:Like you're wont to say about Tinubu,if you and your ilk have got the goods on her why not take it to the appropriate quarters? There's the EFCC, the ICPC & the courts. So do the needful and stop frothing at the mouth. Simple as. |
Hmm |
This is just a load of bs. The source is highly suspect. All these bloggers chasing traffic like mad will write anything to drive traffic to their blogs |
The irony of these folks screaming vanity upon vanity is that they attend churches where their pastors shuttle the world in private jets, drive around in a convoy with enough bodyguards to make any president go green with envy. You don't hear them screaming vanity. They immediately switch to 'my god is not a poor god'..sigh,the irony. |
Dayum..Sheik has more cars than the entire cars in some African countries..i think |
BraniacX:It's all good |
BraniacX:Erm..duh you must have me confused with someone else. I've never been in the 'change' camp. |
naijapiper:Your idiocy stems from your lineage. What if it were just one person? Is that not enough catalyst to spur the government into action? Let alone 500. Oh i get it now,Buhari is actually waiting for the body count to hit a thousand before taking action. Oh i see now..issokai |
What a relief! That security guard should be given OON for bravery |
An2elect2:I know and maybe regrettable in the long run. But i detest injustice in any shape or form. |
Nooo! See how they've turned my city to a hell hole. Back in the days we'd be crawling from West of Mines to 11:45 and down to Sharazad without any fear of harassment not to talk of a bomb going off. See how these lunatics have ruined everything. I feel for my people. |
What is really going on? |
An2elect2:All those things would be an aftertought process. My immediate inclination at the time would a spur of the moment decision which is to hit back & hit back hard. I might begin to think of the repercussions later. Male or female. Once you become violent, you lose my respect & i won't be differentiating gender. Truth is,if you let one act of indiscretion such as striking an employee across the face go unpunished. Chances are it is likely going to be a regular feature of your work routine. Hence the need to nip it in the bud there and then. |
Fourwinds:Lol..true. I'll give it some thought |
An2elect2:In saner climes,i'd be smiling to the bank because i'd sue the company for all they're worth. Not in a dysfunctional society like Nigeria where anyone with a few notes to throw around can get away with anything. No! I'll exact my pound of flesh effective immediately. |
An2elect2:I'm not a violent man & i expect others to reciprocate my gesture. Once you fail in this regard,i'll return the favour in equal measure, pressed down & shaken. Violence is not the exclusive preserve of anybody. |
Mtcheew..what's with all these epistles about APC & their woes? Are we honestly supposed to dissipate our valuable time & energy reading all that while the rest of the world passes us by? Please i've got kids to feed. |
Absolutely not! Under no circumstance should a superior smack his/her surbordinate. Anybody pulls that kind of stunt with me,even if i'm earning a million a month is definitely going to end up with some serious brain damage because the speed with which i'll return the slap would be faster than lightning. |
