Nigerians are so homophobic it's frightening. They create all sorts of scary scenarios. They say it's the end of the world, they say America wants to turn everyone to gays and lesbians, they say America might drop the bomb on any country that refuses to legalise gay marriage and so on and so forth. The demagoguery is on another level. |
So many people can't bear to think along those lines. Some have, but quickly banished the thoughts, others are still thinking it and ruminating the thought in their head. As a matter of fact, some are thinking it right now. Personally,i struggled with the thought for a very long time, did some indepth research, posed questions to a lot of erudite scholars, pastors, evangelists etc with very little success. I was told some things are way beyond my scope and should be left alone. That wasn't good enough for me so i took the matter up with god himself. God in his characteristic imaginary self failed to turn up for the debate. That was when i realised i had been talking to myself for so many years. And to think i was such a prayer warrior..sigh |
First off, what's the black man's obssession with this man?
|
Oh my! |
Sad |
Lemon12: But this name has a nice ring to it though. Although i don't see myself using it anytime sooon |
Mamaflex:Very... |
donholy28:True..sad as it may seem, that's what they signed up for. |
omenka:Tired noise son..soured grapes. Like i said earlier, you and your ilk will definitely come up with some feeble defence to explain away your absence without leave. I was spot on! No need trying so hard kid,i see through your shenanigans. You'll have to do better than throwing tantrums like a toddler who had his candy taken away |
Funny how omenka, passingshot and gbawe, the three musketeers leading the APC charge on NL have suddenly fizzled out like a candle that has run out of wax since the Nass crisis broke out. It is at a time like this you'll read retorts like 'listen,i have a life outside nairaland' or some other feeble defence they can muster..sigh |
IbnSultaan:Enough of the rhetorics. We'll be the judge of that |
These idíots are at it again. They struggled for power without knowing what to do with it. Funny how they're all acting confused and mesmerised from the top to the bottom, the same scenario is playing out. |
Feranmicharles:Exactly! So the question now is what is god still waiting for? |
Ok we're watching |
Hmmm..another session of photo shoot..issokai |
Pray tell, how is this a sensible move? Who comes up with these ideas anyways? Granted, some inmates may deserve amnesty but this should be viewed on a case by case basis. To suggest that all the prison gates be flung open and tell all inmates to go home is purely nonsensical. |
Now more than ever, states should find ways of improving their IGR. The federal government has to take the issue of diversifying the economy very seriously. How can the entire country just get stuck on crude trickling from a tiny region in the country? Haba! This is totally unacceptable and unsustainable. |
Ibime:Yeah these guys go ways back. Long before most of these names mentioned signed up on NL. Hence they didn't get the recognition they deserve. 'Okoro feeling funky, you're nothing but a monkey'. Epic line from the Krayola v Sauron battle. |
Good job |
The cheek of this man. He's still talking. You borrowed 24 billion with little or nothing to show for it and you want to borrow more. You think the banks will just continue to 'dash' you money to fritter away on your frivolous projects. They're well aware you have no means to service your debts thus, can't afford to risk their capital base |
Hmm..this is getting ugly by the day |
Oh my this is so sad. I don't understand why Nigerians don't take health and safety seriously. For instance, you go to a building site and you see the workers working barefooted,no hard hats,no boots and no safety clothing. That is just a disaster waiting to happen. |
Mtcheew ![]() |
This is laudable. Next, government should hands off pilgrimages. If you can't afford to go,stay back home and save up for the next pilgrimage. Government has no business sponsoring religious activities. The distinction between religion and state should be clearly defined |
Lol..god loves sex. They're just glorifying him |
It's apparent some group of persons are desperately itching to send this thread to the gutters. And to think some of them are either going or returning from church where they have gone to praise their god..smh |
johnydon22:The Lord works in mysterious ways bro. His thinking is not our thinking, his ways are not our ways, you cannot question god,god has a purpose for everything. It's all part of his divine plan. So there,i think i've pretty much covered all the bases. |
johnydon22:Lol..can you blame him? A god that seems so messed up in the head it's not even funny. |
It's on threads like these you'll witness the best form of mental gymnastics. They'll tell you why god kept them in order to fulfill his promises. Why the remission of sins must include the sacrifice of his son and all the shenanigans that go with it. These guys are pretty good at defending god's actions or lack of it. They must be highly paid. |
That's because Christians are probably the most notorious hypocrites known to man. If they practiced half of what they preached, this world would be a much better place but who takes any of those words seriously? Whenever i raise issues like these,i get quips like 'those are not true Christians'. So where are these true Christians? Then again i can't really blame them, even god can't be bothered since he surrendered control of the earth to his sibling the devil. Now it looks like the world is going to hell in a basket..sigh |
oluwadanie1:Ahahahaha..so true. That elevator bit really cracked me up because i've had first hand experience. And to they were still going down..smh. Someone can't even say if he or she is not feeling too well even when it is obvious they're very sick and need help. You hear stuff like 'i am well in Jesus name'. Truly Nigerians are so notoriously religious it's not even funny Pavore9:You would be amazed at the number of Nigerians who still tie being light skinned to the occultic realm. The number is mind boggling. |
For the cherrypicking christians. Rather than struggling so hard to defend your god which in any event you're all doing a very terrible job of. I've made your jobs a lot easier. I've taken out the verses you all hate to read and left all the feel good messages that'll put your god in good light.
