Hello,

Anyone heard from Rhur Bochum or Uni kassel #summer2017.

And what are the chances of getting admission in Hochschule worms after been put on waiting list? Like on my status it was written ' admission currently impossible'

Thanks
Evidently the program you applied for has a Numerus Clausus. To be admitted with your current admission status will depend on other admitted students not taking up their admission and notifying the school on time so that it can be redistributed to other students. Infact no guarantees or sometimes you get admitted quite late will little time to process the student visa.

brethren in the house...I salute you all, anyone to help a brother out DB is being obstinate about opening a blocked account, even though I presented a bank statement of my company which was in the excess of 7m.My application was still rejected, it has been rejected twice. Advise needed urgently pls
try moving your funds to your personal account and the account opening should fly. even if you own a company the perception is that it's finances should be independent of you the owner.

Morning guys! Please a brother is in dare need of advise, guide and all necessary help.
I just got my admission letter. Someone that really cares recommended this forum to me. I am planning on using a sponsor letter to apply. What documents do my sponsor need to send across to me?
Secondly, do I still need to open a block account since am using a sponsor?
Am going on summer semester..hope am not late?
I also need an advise on documents checklist I need to take to the embassy.
Your sponsor only needs to send the sponsorship letter/document which he/she will obtain from the aliens office in their place of residence and you can help yourself as well by knowing as much as you can about your sponsor's personal life to fully establish the relationship with the above a blocked account is not needed. Ask your sponsor for a scanned copy of the sponsor letter so you can book an appointment date ASAP.
visit the link below for more information on how to book your appointment and other required documents to bring to the interview

May be you can reconfirm from them if it was a mistake, then if it's not, may be they have more questions for you or the interviewer didn't get to ask all the questions.Just may be.
thanks for your response. infact there were some questions she did not allow me to finish like naming all courses according to each semester, she stopped me wen i had named just two. asked for states but stopped again after naming just 7.

Please kindly list the documents Ecobank specifically asked you to provide to process the Form A.

I don't understand. I just gave it to the woman at the receiving room/office, she took it and said it was N200(2 papers inside the big brown envelope). She gave me stamps, I applied it and she kept it saying she would register it.
if it is NIPOST registered mail you are supposed to get a small slip containing your tracking number to track the mail but I guess it was NIPOST regular mail, I am asking because NIPOST registered mail I sent to Germany took over 3weeks to get there and I was just wondering if regular mail is faster considering the short time it took yours to arrive

@avalon316

Defnintely not just Nigerians do it. But u and I agree if there was going to be a statistics of the country with more defaulters Nigeria wouldn't be on the favourable side.

The better immigrants are even the ones that defer to a later date to eventually go to school. Some don't even go to school atall after getting into the country on a study visa.

Canada needs people YES! But they frown at insincerity and criminality.
If you want to go and study! Fine, apply for a study permit and make sure u go to school.
If you want to immigrate get into EE and immigrate.

Don't try to by pass the system by faking study intentions just to get into the country.

If the work permit is removed while you study, that way you have filtered anyone who fakes study intentions and intends to get into the country to make a living

I just think this is post Canada refusal-syndrome. You were upbeat and optimistic up until yesterday and since then you've been posting all sorts and inadvertently placing blame on other Nigerians in diaspora who are all trying to make a better life for themselves why not channel all this energy towards re-applying, as for me Yes oo I am part of that 90% @avalon316 refers to and there is nothing wrong with it as the immigration laws make provisions for it and it is an open secret that the vast majority of applicants going to Canada wish to study and immigrate. A lot of people prefer Canada because though the tuition charged to international students is not cheap but some programs have co-op to get some valuable work experience and not to mention the PGWP as well as EE, after spending much on tuition fees i think people can choose to stay back or return home to Nigeria to work and it is entirely a personal decision which should be respected as the reasons behind it will vary for each individual.

Our fellow Nigerians are the ones closing the door on genuine students and this really pains.

The rate at which Nigerians with study visa defer admission to January just to work some more is alarming and colleges have called attention of CIC to it.

Personally I fully support the removal of work permit for students while they study if that will lessen their strong stance in issuing study visa.

But I fully support the postgraduate work permit program which I feel should be upheld.
A student that have studied fully has the right to stay back and work to either get experience or make some money.
Sorry about the refusal though my response is due to you assuming the worst. I think being refused a Canadian Visa is not the end of the world. If your intention is to truly obtain a foreign degree and return to Nigeria to work and not immigrate then there a lot of countries with top class education that you can study in with your money and I know I don't have to tell you which countries and no be by force say na Canada you must go get the foreign degree na.

Each application is treated purely based on it's merits and it is your responsibility to provide documents that will show you meet their requirements, and if you do not then take your own advise and jejely call for your gcms file that is if you are still hell bent on going to Canada to know how best to tackle and re-apply instead of going on this rant which is not necessary. You will probably think Nigerian peeps deferring admission to start at a later date is bad until you hear what other nationals are doing or do you think the immigration rule changes in 2014 for students coming to Canada was because of Nigerians.

My issue is..if the embassy will use quota as an excuse to denial applicants for visa..then why sending them to have medicals in the first place? They can as well just refuse them the visa on other grounds before requesting for medical tests...which is not free o!!! Such acts will be so unfair and dodgy.
exactly and I agree with you oo but I am sure the quota crusaders will claim that the instruction on quota was received after their medicals. At this day and age a lot of people are still so gullible

Canada has never had a quota for visitors or students or was there a recent announcement to that effect. Even for a student permit, It is not everyone who applies for a study permit that gets approved.

Yes there's quota for every year , even for PR application . last year i read on news Alberta requesting for their PR quota to be increased . SO yes it apply to every application.
Yes there is quota for PR but there is none for visitors, students etc, I think @teesboy suggested that they open a case specific enquiry so that if something is wrong somewhere it can get sorted asap.

100k is equivalent to almost 600cad, anyone who is ready and willing to borrow you that amount without a specified payback date must be really nice. do you know the number of hours you need to work to earn that much? what if things do not work out as you have planned, what is gonna happen? Onyeoma3 has said it all "it's not advisable to travel to a foreign land without being prepared". I wish y'll good luck in your app, more good news in the house by God's grace.
Please I have just one question since Canada is obviously hell on earth so when do you plan to return to Nigeria?

so no one should come to Canada because it is not easy but i think Nigeria is also not easy as well? have you guys even heard of some of the ridiculous salaries that are paid to Nigerian graduates or guess you obviously did not hear of salaries not being paid to workers for months in some states in Nigeria. please i think a lot of people going to Canada already know you are not going to pick money on the streets of Canada and if some people choose to work in warehouse or wherever even though they are engineers i think it is a decision they made solely on their own so no need to worry about it. you may work in a warehouse today but who knows tomorrow you may get a better paying job. there is nothing wrong with working in a warehouse if you get paid on time and it allows you to pay all your bills without begging for alms from friends and family and you get to keep your dignity and respect as a man or woman. life is not a bed of roses you will definitely encounter challenges be it America, UK, Canada, Australia or anywhere else. if you are fortunate to come from a well to do family then thank your lucky stars because not everyone is that lucky so please allow anyone who wants to go to Canada to go and i believe the average Nigerian is very hardworking except for some who deceive themselves by thinking there is a short cut to success. it is quite funny how you guys think 200K jobs are just lying around in Nigeria and no one wants to do it.enough of the scary tales by moonlight from Canada because i do not see any of you packing your bags to leave Canada in the name of it is not easy.

I heard oh its sad. We love to look for the cheapest of the cheapest. Anyone coming abroad to study is definitely not from a hungry family. It's advisable to spend that extra coin on getting a good flight.
Ethiopia airline is messed up as well.
when it comes to flying there is absolutely nothing wrong with trying to get the best deal that fits within your budget, people across the world do it not only nigerians. All airlines will have their bad/off days but you only hope that you are not on that flight when it happens. even with the fall in oil prices the airlines are still increasing summer flight prices because it is all about profits. Using your analogy of us nigerians prefering cheap stuff are you also suggesting if one cannot buy expensive designer clothings we should all go naked instead of buying clothes that fit within our budget.
