Nicolea:Evidently the program you applied for has a Numerus Clausus. To be admitted with your current admission status will depend on other admitted students not taking up their admission and notifying the school on time so that it can be redistributed to other students. Infact no guarantees or sometimes you get admitted quite late will little time to process the student visa. |

Ifeco35:Your sponsor only needs to send the sponsorship letter/document which he/she will obtain from the aliens office in their place of residence and you can help yourself as well by knowing as much as you can about your sponsor's personal life to fully establish the relationship with the above a blocked account is not needed. Ask your sponsor for a scanned copy of the sponsor letter so you can book an appointment date ASAP. visit the link below for more information on how to book your appointment and other required documents to bring to the interview http://www.nigeria.diplo.de/Vertretung/nigeria/en/04-1_20Visa/Long_20term_20visa/Visa_20-_20Long_20term.html 2 Likes |

chrisley024:if it is NIPOST registered mail you are supposed to get a small slip containing your tracking number to track the mail but I guess it was NIPOST regular mail, I am asking because NIPOST registered mail I sent to Germany took over 3weeks to get there and I was just wondering if regular mail is faster considering the short time it took yours to arrive |

hayqinsbFX:I just think this is post Canada refusal-syndrome. You were upbeat and optimistic up until yesterday and since then you've been posting all sorts and inadvertently placing blame on other Nigerians in diaspora who are all trying to make a better life for themselves why not channel all this energy towards re-applying, as for me Yes oo I am part of that 90% @avalon316 refers to and there is nothing wrong with it as the immigration laws make provisions for it and it is an open secret that the vast majority of applicants going to Canada wish to study and immigrate. A lot of people prefer Canada because though the tuition charged to international students is not cheap but some programs have co-op to get some valuable work experience and not to mention the PGWP as well as EE, after spending much on tuition fees i think people can choose to stay back or return home to Nigeria to work and it is entirely a personal decision which should be respected as the reasons behind it will vary for each individual. 18 Likes |

hayqinsbFX:Sorry about the refusal though my response is due to you assuming the worst. I think being refused a Canadian Visa is not the end of the world. If your intention is to truly obtain a foreign degree and return to Nigeria to work and not immigrate then there a lot of countries with top class education that you can study in with your money and I know I don't have to tell you which countries and no be by force say na Canada you must go get the foreign degree na. Each application is treated purely based on it's merits and it is your responsibility to provide documents that will show you meet their requirements, and if you do not then take your own advise and jejely call for your gcms file that is if you are still hell bent on going to Canada to know how best to tackle and re-apply instead of going on this rant which is not necessary. You will probably think Nigerian peeps deferring admission to start at a later date is bad until you hear what other nationals are doing or do you think the immigration rule changes in 2014 for students coming to Canada was because of Nigerians. 8 Likes |

Rolatims:Canada has never had a quota for visitors or students or was there a recent announcement to that effect. Even for a student permit, It is not everyone who applies for a study permit that gets approved. 1 Like |

so no one should come to Canada because it is not easy but i think Nigeria is also not easy as well? have you guys even heard of some of the ridiculous salaries that are paid to Nigerian graduates or guess you obviously did not hear of salaries not being paid to workers for months in some states in Nigeria. please i think a lot of people going to Canada already know you are not going to pick money on the streets of Canada and if some people choose to work in warehouse or wherever even though they are engineers i think it is a decision they made solely on their own so no need to worry about it. you may work in a warehouse today but who knows tomorrow you may get a better paying job. there is nothing wrong with working in a warehouse if you get paid on time and it allows you to pay all your bills without begging for alms from friends and family and you get to keep your dignity and respect as a man or woman. life is not a bed of roses you will definitely encounter challenges be it America, UK, Canada, Australia or anywhere else. if you are fortunate to come from a well to do family then thank your lucky stars because not everyone is that lucky so please allow anyone who wants to go to Canada to go and i believe the average Nigerian is very hardworking except for some who deceive themselves by thinking there is a short cut to success. it is quite funny how you guys think 200K jobs are just lying around in Nigeria and no one wants to do it.enough of the scary tales by moonlight from Canada because i do not see any of you packing your bags to leave Canada in the name of it is not easy. 22 Likes |

mevisbleek:when it comes to flying there is absolutely nothing wrong with trying to get the best deal that fits within your budget, people across the world do it not only nigerians. All airlines will have their bad/off days but you only hope that you are not on that flight when it happens. even with the fall in oil prices the airlines are still increasing summer flight prices because it is all about profits. Using your analogy of us nigerians prefering cheap stuff are you also suggesting if one cannot buy expensive designer clothings we should all go naked instead of buying clothes that fit within our budget. 7 Likes 2 Shares |
