Nice move. This would help to spread federal projects. Not the normal winner takes all attitude.

Whereby the president zones projects to only areas that voted for him

Guys I have AD already. On the 20th of December. But in a wrong category I thought that the discount in my fees qualifies as a scholarship. Which is cat A under scholarship

I wouldn't like to go there pay flight, rent a hotel room then at the end after paying the visa fee I get turned back......

Should I honour the invitation or I should join the waiting crew.

I also intend to go there with request to withdraw my BA money.

I want to close the account

I won't lie the meeting would be fruitless.

There's no way a multi national task force would work, Nigeria shares no borders with Egypt, apart from that Nigerian military is corrupt, there's alot of things about book haram they are not telling us.

Urgent!!!.

Please, I need information on how to unblock my fintiba account after receiving my documents from the embassy.
Please, anyone that has successfully unblocked should help a sister.
You have to go back there with a form for them to sign

Nigerian's are really suffering o.

We are the only Africans that hardly get date.

We have the highest block account amount.

We pay the highest for visa free in Africa.

I am not happy at all.

This is Ghana embassy site. They give them options to choose both the date and the time they want. And Germany only has one embassy in Ghana catering for Ghana, Sierra Leone and Liberia.

But We that have 2 in our country to get war

But i checked the site and i can't see anywhere written that category B applicant will wait for a year
They just removed it this morning.

It seems somebody from the embassy is on Nairaland.

The question now is is it true. And they only hid it so it won't escalate as this might lead to a scandal.

Or it was never true but they just put it there

What are you going with bro cos I also want to start the refund process.
Its a funny process it requires u going to the fintiba site. Look for refunds and download a PDF file.

Funny thing is that its written in Chinese and German. When paying money they give u a doc in English but now u want to withdraw talk don change.

Goodluck

You re right, the truth is that they re trying to cut on the number of students been given visa per year. At the moment Germany economy no stable if u get anyone working here he or she will confirm it. Especially the automobile sector.

Trump and Brexit no even help matter
What I am saying is which cat B student have they given AD to since October?

What u should say is that Nigerias slot regarding AD is filled up for 2019 that's more understanding

I also blocked my account in July, please do you mind sharing the information on this new update? what does it say about Category B applicants?
I am going to the embassy next week to submit for a refund. Me it's obvious I might not go to Germany. The country just wasted my time and made me suffer a huge loss, cause u can't imagine what I had to part with to get that BA money. Yet nothing.

You have a point, the tuition is free, so on paper, there is no way the German economy would benefit from the influx of students coming in to benefit from their educational system, however the influx of foreign students would improve the buying power as the foreign students would have to buy basic amenities like food, clothing etc, students would also have to secure accommodation so this helps the German housing / real estate sector, students would pay taxes, water usage bills, electricity usage bills and so on and this also goes back into the German economy, then there's the possibility of the Germans coming across an exceptional student either in academics or athletics so the Germans could offer the student some sort of scholarship or resident permit / citizenship provided the student agrees to represent Germany in the Olympics or in the tech industry (brain drain), Also foreign students aren't refugees so they aren't entitled to welfare, so the Germans wouldn't have to worry about having another case of Syrians and Libyans exploiting their system (the blocked account and SL initiative acts as some kind of safe bet for the German authorities)

It is a tricky topic but when all has been said and done, it is safe to say the Germans would actually be gaining more than they are losing. Its one of the tricks the Germans have up their sleeves, they make it seem like they are doing you are favour but in reality it is actually the other way around......or at most a win win situation!
Influx of migrants on free education adds nothing much to there economy apart from that those students would want to work in Germany to get this moneys they spend. Apart from that German economy is at the brink of recession, plus already Germany is already the most populated country in the EU.

Maybe they think doing this will save there economy.

What does this site have to do with the waiting period. It says nothing about cat B waiting.

Just the normal thing almost all of us know about
Travel › Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Coldie: 8:46am On Dec 12, 2019
How would someone who got admission in a school wait 12months to get visa date when his resumption date is not up to 3 months.

Someone waited 9 months plus to get a AD for work visa. Anything is possible now.
People have faith and would doubt anything.

That's how they doubted the September flush of the embassy's system despite it being written boldly on the embassy site.

This is the first time I am seeing that update about waiting for 12months or more, that means it was updated of recent, they will still doubt.

Some people own better, what about some of us that have blocked accounts already, I blocked my BA since July, yet see what the embassy is saying.

That statement contradict this also

During the long waiting period for B-list appointments, many students change their plans and do not show up at their assigned appointments. Therefore we will reset the B-list registrations at the end of September and at the end of March before the beginning of the new semester and delete all at that time existing B-list entries. New registrations will be possible again from the beginning of October / April.
Germany embassy no try. And they can't even confirm all these things
