The truth is that Aba is a jungle compare to Onitsha or Lagos. Onitsha is a major transportation hub in the east, so it is for you to insist on going to the major transportation companies in the city to board vehicle.

You will always go to Onitsha because the city is a major transportation hub in the entire eastern region. People from Asaba, Awka, Enugu, Owerri, etc usually troop to Onitsha to join Lagos or Abuja bus.

What happened to you is an isolated case, next time go to the major transportation companies at Upper Iweka like GUO, AGOFURO, GOD IS GOOD, ABC, CHISCO, etc. They are many.

The driver is part of them, I experienced them coming to lag from onitsha , one I got to that park , they dragged my luggage from me and put in their vehicle that the bus is going to lagos, I almost accepted but the manner in which they collected my bags and even threatened me made me decide I won't go. Thats where the problem started, on top my luggage they where fighting me , made me pay 6k in duress, even d driver collect slap join from this touts, the funny part is they put some people in the bus to look like the bus is almost filled up but all of them are touts including the lady there.

I met the driver and told him my mind is not willing to travel with them that I need to go, the driver insisted I will go with them, before I had to make a call to my brother who happens to be a soldier in onitsha, he told me to put the phone and loudspeaker and told me to collect my money from them or he will come collect it himself, to cut it short , they gave me 5k instead of 6k. I just enter bus to asaba to follow God is good. Never in my life will I go to onitsha again

Yes, I agree with that RWY 22 should be the approach/landing runway. I tried to align the excavated runway area as much as possible with the cardinal points and i think the runway numbers may be 05 - 23 (L,R) or 06 - 24 (L,R). Although when the exact placement of the runway becomes updated in satellite maps it would be much easier to see the orientation. Of course by then, the engineers would have done the on site calibration with compass to figure the exact orientation of the runway and the numbers. My prediction is that it will align most with 06 - 24 (L,R). Either way, whether the number ends up being RWY 22, 23 or 24, it makes absolute sense for that to be the approach/landing runway with the ILS systems.

BTW, I love how you guys help me learn new things everyday here! It shocked me that the runway numbers of every airport on earth matched the numbers in that chart if you can overlay the orientation of the runway perfectly on the chart pointing north!

Based on the cardinal points orientation, the Anambra International airport runway is likely to have runway numbers 04 - 22 (L,R).

I wish the ILS would be on runway 22 so that landing or departing planes will not be seen, except you go to the airport area for plane spotting. I love cities with major airports where you will never see the planes coming or leaving except you go to the airport. One of the reasons I hate London and Lagos is the noisy planes all the time.

Your inferiority complex and envy has kept betraying your emotions. Focus on your glorified state capital that's littered with mud houses. Lol, in actual sense both of them are like villages. But one looks more like a village than the other. Having lived in both cities for more than 7 years, I give the village award to PH. Even the well planned areas you're talking about does not exist, goto GRA, Woji, Garrison area, Rumokoro, Rumokurushi.

All you see are clustered small houses with old leaking roofs and poor blocked drainage systems. PH also have a problem of uneducated people, the average youth their doesn't want to goto the university, because after all NCDC and Shell give out job slots to their communities yearly so uneducated people with no degree work on rigs and earn big salaries.

Enugu have a problem of red soil and water, apart from this it's a beautiful city. Beautiful houses and structures are abundant their, the kind of houses ordinary people with low paying jobs live in Enugu, are exclusively for rich and oil workers in PH. Infact Enugu is much well planned out, enter places like independence layout, GRA, Zoo estate, you'll easily think you're out of Nigeria if not for the red soil that gives out its look.

Enugu is also cool, insecurity is far from that area. People go out like they don't have much to worry about, it's just perfect to raise a family there. I think ave said enough, and this is my opinion. Everyone is entitled to their own view
