Manchester City has announced the travel roster for its U.S. tour that includes a friendly against Sporting KC and the International Champions Cup. The news comes hours after Manchester United announced its squad for a similar summer tour. The reigning MLS Cup and English Premier League champions will face off at Sporting Park on July 23rd at 9 p.m. on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes. Among the names traveling with City are Samir Nasri, Jesus Navas, and Alvaro Negredo. Four days after the friendly, Manchester City will face off against AC Milan in Pittsburgh in its Champions Cup opener.
