bettercreature: I can't understand why Amaechi and Oshiomole are worried Buhari has already won for crying out loud Only north west would swallow the whole of south east and south south Read my previous post, you will understand why. It has something to do with their political weight and relevance. They don't want APC to see them as inconsequential for failing to deliver their states or even get 25% |
Politics › Re: INEC Insists Election Held In Rivers, Say Amaechi Erred To Ask For Result Sheet by collynzo2(m): 9:06pm On Mar 29, 2015 |
Thank God the plan didn't work. collynzo2: Amaechi and Rochas aren't doing APC any good. They know that they can't deliver even the needed 25% in their states, so they resort to this in order to convince their masters that their poor performance was due to rigging. They feel that incase APC wins they might not get the relevance they desire in an APC government because of the fact that they failed to deliver 25% in their states (which is a serious dent on the political weight they claim to pull) I voted in Port Harcourt, the results were counted openly in my unit, I was also present for the counting in the next unit, monitored results in other parts of Obio akpor and Port harcourt LGA, and I can boldly tell you that APC did not secure up to 25% in any of those units. In my units, it was PDP 249 APC 38. Now if APC couldn't secure 25% in any of the Ikwerre communities, is it in the Ijaw riverine areas that the will get it? Is it in Patience Jonathan's Okrika that they will get it? I think Amaechi is more worried about their abysmal performance in the house of rep and senatorial elections too, people were just thumb printing PDP all through in other not to make mistakes. I personally voted for the APC house of rep candidate but it turned out that I was one of just 28 people who did so when the results were counted, my unit is in the man's community. APC failed woefully in Rivers. oshyno: That is one thing these Amechi and Rochas dont understand. I voted at shell RA. [/color] What she said is100% true, I was trying to encourage people to vote for a House of rep candidate who did well for the community but nobody was willing to take the risk of thumb printing APC in any of the ballot papers, the women especially would have none of it. Having those other elections the same time with Presidential worked against APC badly in Rivers and that is why they are crying. |

They are hoping that the elections will be rescheduled and people will be discouraged from coming out, it won't work. The went to gather a few of their party members to protest in other to make it look like Rivers is for APC. If all those who voted for PDP come out will that tiny road contain them? |

Jarus: To think I was on the website of these guys during the week searching for flight for Mrs Jarus on her just-returned trip to Ilorin....and had her to settle for road because the time for departure (7.00am) was too early for a nursing mother coming to Ikeja from Ajah of all places. I pray there are no casualities here..
I have always had my concerns about planes used for low-traffic routes in Nigeria (Akure, Ilorin, Yola etc). I boarded one old, rickety aircraft from Lagos to Ilorin few years ago and the sound was like that of Okada. We always hear of these kind of stories whenever there is a plane crash, it isn't necessary to be honest, people miss flights all the time. Tthat someone missed a flight which later crashed doesn't take away anything from the fact that people died. |
