What is up with all the bashing from citizens of other countries.  Why are you registered on this site?  I swear it says on the homepage: Home of Nigerians and Friends of Nigerians.  Na wa o! All this hating. Shake them hatas' off!

I am very annoyed at the fact that such statements as "nigerians are 419", "nigerians are too proud", etc keep surfacing.  Who amongst you is not proud to be a citizen of his/her country when it comes down to it.  And which one of any of your countries do not have "419"--thieves, cons, criminals, fraudsters--whatever you choose to call it.  Is it because we have given a unique title to our own.  I, personally, do not believe that my country is above any other country; and I am overtly proud to be a Nigerian. That's what's up.

There is a Bible passage that talks about how one cannot be judged from a standard (Christ's standard) unknown; and how Christ will not return until all have had the opportunity to hear about him and make him their Lord and Savior.

  "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."  

No, I do not think that is too much.  Each individual has his or her preference; and there is always a reason behind it.  I, for one, prefer older men to younger ones.  That is not to say if I meet a younger man that meets the criteria, I will refuse him on the basis of his years.
 
Age does not equate to the level of wisdom one possesses.  

Sorry to say, but age, really, is just a number in the domain of love.  

I believe if we stay in sync with God's plans for our lives, we can't go wrong on choosing life partners. Isn't that what it all boils down to, anyway?

my ex is 17yrs older than me. i'm 21, he's 38. we were planning on getting married after i finish medical school and he finishes law school. things just took the wrong turn in our relationship this year. but anyway, i actually have a phobia of dating guys that are around my age.  i just feel unsafe in their arms and i feel that i cannot entrust my heart to them.

i'm sorry honey, this is too funny. how did he lock you both in the house? what, you couldn't unlock the door and leave; or is the lock on the outside?
but on a more serious note, i'm sorry it ended this way for you. God will provide you with the man of your dreams but just make sure you know your worth---your price is far above rubies. Take care.
