All SE needs to do is play for each other, play simple passes, avoid ball watching & always monitor the runners. I just watched our match against Czech rep. Our wing backs especially Shehu has a PHD in ball watching & not reacting to the runners. My coach used to say they are more dangerous than the man with the ball. Cos the man with the ball will draw the defence out & play a killer pass. If SE avoids these errors, they are good to go.
All the goals SE scored Argentina were just from simple give & take passes @ the right time. It would have even be 5 if not for unnecessary dribble from Iheanacho while Iwobi was free begging for the ball.

There are always tthree lapses which African teams always show every time.
1)Ball watching. They are always fixated at the ball without looking out for runners.
2) Impatient. Most times the attackers don't cool down once close to the post. They go with power when brain would have done the job. Thereby wasting a lot of chances.
3) They don't play for each other. This ranks the no 1. When a simple pass will open d opposition, they will want to dribble their way through sea of bodies. Once African teams grow beyond these, they will overcome many oppositions @ the mundial.
My observations tho.

The friendlies are over. No injury to any SE player. Thank God for that.

The fans are confused.
Opposition is confused.
In other words. Both fans and opponents doesn't know what to expect. Which personnel they will play against. Confusion everywhere.

Shehu's problem is playing against quick players. He is slow off d block, and his positioning is always suspect. Sometimes bumbling into the attacker.
He needs a good DM who covers a lot of ground to play alongside him. Ndidi fits the bill. Then he needs to work on his positioning.
