And i think that we should expect to concede at least two goals.

I agree with Sir Mujtahida on this one. You defend too much, sooner or later that brick wall will crumble (not just fall).

If we can concede against Congo, we sure as hell will concede against Croatia and Argentina. Even Iceland will score.

This is world cup and prolly Lionel Messi's last. He sure as hell will morph into a beast. Can we keep the likes of Modric, Rakitic, Kovacic, Mandzukic at bay for 90 mins?

Do you think other coaches aren't noting our very predictable tactics and our counter-attacking play?

Okay, say we get a chance from a counter-attack, are our strikers clinical or consistent enough to finish off?

If our opponents decide to "Ramos" Mikel and Matuidi" Moses, won't our game-plan be undone?

Are we not tired of exiting group stages or second rounds?

What I know is that should these guys surprise us in Russia and perform beyond expectations, i will be the first persons to shout and declare in my house. But should they exit group stage, Rohr would definitely resign or be sacked and 90% of our players wouldn''t smeel the GWG again
Make we hear word. This Croatia team is no way near the Spanish team of 98. But what happened after 90mins.
Believe it or not, there are elements that work together in any football match, if they re against you, bro you are finished. Ask Argentina in 1990, vs Cmr, Ask Spain in 98 vs Ngr, Ask France 2002 vs Senegal.
Stars don't win games, its team work.

I am confused. undecided sad
Have been sounding like a broken kettle.
Kayode is not in the team & will never be there. You are not d coach, please can we have some peace. Nepotism here bribery there. U no dey tire!!! These ur ranting will never change anything. Owobikiri was a better player than Yekini, but he never made it in SE heaven didn't fall.
U can as well pray for the team to fail OK.

Some optimistic view point.

Nigeria progressed from group stage in 1994 and 1998 respectively,

Nigeria once again progressed from group stage in 2014....so, we will most likely progress to the KO Rounds again in 2018.

94-14, 98-18

See as I dey give myself hope grin grin
History has a way of repeating itself.

But apart from V moses the other crafty winger in d team is S moses. Musa doesn't possess that craft of wriggling out from tight spaces. Unfortunately, his like for like, Samuel Kalu or Onyekuru were not invited. But that's world cup for you. Freak injuries happening here & there. 98 was Jero shakokpe & Ike shorunmu and just like that

FIFA should allow Nigeria to go with 30 players. Nigeria should be allowed to field 12 men against Croatia and Argentina but that wont stop the massacre that will happen.

Can Mikel and any of those wack midfielders match Modric and Rakitic in the midfield? Can your full backs stop Perisic? Can your central defenders stop Manzukic?

Nigeria dont know what awaits them in Russia. You people have been mouthing off against England. On 2nd of june, you arrogant ignoramuses will be shut up.

Rashford, Sterling and Kane will eat you for dinner.
SE is my team, Nigeria is my country for now. I will not wish bad to my team. But calm down bro. The same scenario has happened in 98. Spain came with 32 matches without a loss. But Nigeria silenced the whole world in the 1st game.
When all d elements work in ur favour, things do happen.
I will personally not judge the team with England friendly. If i were to b the coach, ill deplete the MF to see how d defence will cope under pressure They should play safe for me & keep the best for last.
16th no far again.

ROHRS 25 MAN LIST IS OUT.
TRIVIA QUESTION?
1) Like to like, who do you think should not be in the list & mention who the replacement should be with verifiable facts.
Note: it doesn't matter if the person was in the initial 30 man list or not.

Time starts now.

There is nothing wrong with him consulting with them.. But questions need to be asked when there are questionable events. Nigeria has not changed overnight, and I'm not expecting that to happen.. But we still have to say it as it is.

I already asked the question, on the back of what performance was K. Nwakali included in the 35 man list? He is a great player no doubt
2 or more similar players to every position right. Question is, who is closest to Mikel & let me say iwobi in terms of ball movement, positioning, passing range etc.
I really don't think that anyone will lay a claim that he has truly watched Kelechi 90 mins week in week out in his club. Apart from oh he is not making the team story. We really don't know why he was not making the team. Mikel was on the bench for half a season in Chelsea, but was he a bad player, hell no. In comparison also in d mix is Ajagun. I have watched him play, he is not different to iwobi, one touch passing, but he doesn't know the dark art of drawing fouls to calm d game.
Truth still remains that its 23 players, and every country has the same problem. From France to England to Germany and Argentina. This is our team, let's support them.

I have no comment, they are actually the lowest in the ranking. I know some will say Ajiboy is better than this person or that person by sticking their finger in the air.
Truth, in GWG he is ranked lowest.
After World cup. Akpeyi will quit the scene, that will be his opportunity to stake his claim, but ha, Alampasu, Osigwe, Okoye, & Akpan Udoh are all waiting on d wings.

Ebuehi is quicker off d blocks. It gives him a very big advantage over quick wingers. Shehu doesn't have it, more so shehus positioning is always suspect. Sorry people will attack me, but its d truth. I pray he plays against England. Then we will have a clearer view.

Gradually its tilting to kick & follow. It used to be English pattern of football those days. No skill, no dribbling, just trap & pass to the next man. Only heaven knows, before then I must have switched my hobby to rugby.

Defence was not part of their strategy. They just believed they will outscore every team.

He is in camp already, maybe when he ends up in Russia, then and then will some of us understand why the coach keeps calling him. the coaching crew are the closest to these players, they know what they want and will decide. I only assumed just as some of us have done here so what i say or what some of us say here remains our opinions.

He can play in a 3 man defense is an assumption from me and an opinion.

Except you're saying the coaching crew are all fools for always inviting Echiejile and even used him all through the qualifiers except the last match, they must be seeing what they want in him.
Dunno!! Echiejile this, echiejile that. For real, how many goals did we conceed thru his position throughout the qualifiershuh How many. We re so glued on echiejile issue. But the real problem is RB Shehu, simple reason, he is not quick & most times positions wrongly when defending. Let's keep masturbating on echiejile issue. It was like oh bassagog will eat echiejile raw. Last last he didn't see his period against elderson. Echiejile is a big game player, you can take it to the bank & he will be on the plane to Russia.
