We as Africans keep blaming our european colonial masters for african underdevelopment and backwardness many years after the colonial masters have handed over to africans and gone to their own countries. I do not agree with this.

Much of africas problems result from serious endemic corruption, bad governance, disunity and weak insitutions.

I want to start with the problem of corruption which is the biggest problem confronting african states. The problem usually starts from within the political party in power and spreads to other sectors of the country. I want us to list or nominate political parties in africa based on their level of corruption.

I want to nominate the Peoples Democratic Party, a Nigerian political party and one of the largest parties in africa as the most corrupt political party in Africa.

My reasons are:
1. The PDP was in power in Nigeria for fifteen years (1999 to 2015) but there was very little development due to bad governance and massive stealing of public funds.

2. During this period PDP Politicians indulged in careless. Mindless. Massive looting of public funds. (Some people estimate that around $50,000,000,000 was stolen from the country during this period)

3. PDP politicians stole billions of dollars of Oil subsidy funds meant to protect poor people from the effect of rising global oil prices. They became so rich that they bought fleets of private jets for themselves, and large fleets of ships and exotic cars like limousines. They builth massive hotels and organised parties where they gave private jets, ships and exotic cars as gifts to their friends, family, cronies and concubines.

All these were happening while the nation was gradually going broke. Schools were shutdown because the government could no longer pay teachers. Public hospitals had no drugs and doctors ran away to foreign countries and millions of sick people died. Many public universities were crippled by strikes by hungry and angry lecturers.

4 PDP politicians stole billions of dollars of fertilizer subsidy funds and other agriculturer inputs meant to ensure that enough food is produced to feed the nation. The end result was an astronomical increase in the price of food that left the people hungry and angry.

5. PDP politicians colluded with soldiers and police men to steal billions of dollars of funds meant to buy weapons for fighting terrorists organisations such as boko haram.

They colluded with foreigners to defraud the country. They overpaid for fighter jets that were never supplied and paid multiple times. They overpaid for ammunition that were never supplied. They stole soldiers salaries and allowances meant to pay soldiers on the war front who were fighting boko haram. The result was that Nigeria soldiers failed to contain the terrorists. Boko haram killed thousands of people and raped thousands of women. Boko haram caused terrible destruction.

6. They stole the entire pension fund for civil servants including the police pension fund for retired policemen and military men.

7. PDP politicians awarded heavily inflated contracts that often end up as abandoned projects. The result was that national infrastructure deteriorated completely. Bad roads, and collapsing bridges every where.

8. PDP politicians colluded with Workers in the national oil company NNPC to steal billions of naira meant for the maintenance of the refineries and pipelines that carry crude oil.

They used private jets to ferry these stolen monies in billions of dollars and other foreign currencies to bank accounts in foreign countries such as south africa, swazilland, ghana, india, china, russia, dubai etc.

Some people claim that APC is worse than PDP but that is a BIG LIE. The facts are very clear. Corruption in the PDP was so huge that the country fell into a serious financial crisis. It was the APC under Buhari that saved Nigeria from total destruction. in state owned organisations. The mafia extorts money from applicants for teaching jobs in the states

and the Federal owned secondary and primary schools. The mafia extorts money from applicants in the

Petroleum Industry. The mafia extorts money from applicants for hospital jobs such as Nurses and

Doctors. The mafia extorts money from applicants for university jobs such as Lecturers and Security men.
The cult has recruited tens of thousands of young people willing to lie, steal, commit any type of fraud

or defraud the government for the mafia from the nations universities and tertiary institutions.

7. SALARY FRAUD:

There are many types of Salary fraud going on including the use of ghost workers and making illegal

deductions from workers salaries. For example workers that are supposed to earn N28,000 a month the

mafia will deduct N10,000 leaving the worker with N18,000. The mafia therefore makes N100,000,000

monthly by deducting N10,000 from the salary of 10,000 workers. In a year the mafia makes N1.2 Billion.

The mafia can also make N100,000,000 monthly by inserting 4,000 ghost workers each earning N25,000 into

the records of the Nigerian Civil service. To make this possible the syndicate established many fake

accounting and auditing institutions around Nigeria and employed the fake accountants and auditors into

the Nigerian civil service. Using this method the mafia inserted more than 20,000 fake and unqualified

teachers into the workers records of Kaduna state. The mafia used these 20,000 ghost workers to steal

more than N2.4 billion yearly from The Kaduna State Government. The mafia inserted more than 54,000

ghost workers into the workers records of the National Civil Service for the whole country. The mafia

used these 54,000 ghost workers to steal more than N1.5 billion monthly from Nigeria Government.

Presently, the Kaduna Mafia is plotting to hijack the EMPOWER Program of the Buhari government. To make

this possible more than 30,000 mafia members have crossed over from the PDP into the APC. The mafia

plans to instigate organised labour (through bribery of some labour leaders) to raise the minimum wage

to between N54,000 and N30,000 then the mafia will use its members in the civil service to recruit

unqualified teachers and pay them just N20,000 a month and the mafia will make more than N10,000 per

month per teacher employed. Already top ranking mafia members have projected that they can use it to

Northeners are backward for the following reasons:

(1). Unproductivty and Laziness:
Northerners are generally less productive than Southerners, westerners and Eaterners. Iin the West and East people labour from morning till late in the night but in the north its common in the north to find large numbers of able young men lazing around doing nothing. A typical Easterner will labour for years building a business and nourish it to success while the average norther will seek government jobs where he can earn a fat salary for doing nothing and still steal billions of government money.

(2). Poor and Run-down Educational System:
The Northern elites are deliberately destroying the educational system in the north by stealing government fund meant for financing education. Exam malpractice is so rampant in the north that most students graduate with high grades even when they know next to nothing.

(3). Wrong Ideology:
Religious extemism, corruption, and cultism is very common in the North. Northeners are violent and uncivil by nature. They have a tendency towards violence..

Most of the schemes designed to steal public fund start in the north among northerners before they recruit people from other regions.

Northern elites lie to their youths while at the same time looting the money for the countries development. Many northern youths are told that western education is evil. But the elites themselves send their children overseas to study in foreign universities.

(4) Bad Leadership:
Leadership is supposed to be a service to the people. A leader is supposed to be a servant to the people and work to improve their lives. But the Norterners still believe in the primitive nortion that leaders are to be worshipped. Northern elites see leadership as a means of accumulating tremendous wealth at the expense of the people. They take everything from their people and leave them poor and impoverished. The notion of democracy and selfless service is not well accepted and practised in the north.

In the Nigerian private sector anything goes. Slavery is the norm not the exception. Employers in Nigeria are particularly notorious for maltreating their employees. Though there are laws that are intended to protect workers few companies obey them. Even in cases where there is a signed contract between employer and employee the employer can still go ahead and violate every provision in the contract with impunity. If the employee tries to seek justice the judiciary and police will be bribed and they will conspire with the employer to frustrate the employee and the employee may end up in jail. Nigerian Employers may owe employees months or even years of salaries and bluntly refuse to pay and still continue insisting the employees must continue working and must not leave. Some companies in Nigeria have become nothing but a large slave yard where citizens labour with no guarantee that they are going to get paid for the work they are doing. Even when companies pay they may pay below the minimum wage stipulated by law and workers are forced to accept it. Some companies make deductions from workers pay on behalf of the government but then fail to remit the deducted money to the government. The federal government is just as unfair in its treatment of its employees. In some companies employers have stripped the employees of all human rights including right to liberty, right to freedom of expression, freedom of association and religious freedom. Some employers force their employees to become members of the church they attend. Some employers force their employees to support and vote for particular political parties. Some employers force some of their employees to marry the relatives of the employer. Some employers prevent their employees from talking to their fellow employees when at work and at home.

Please be aware that criminals can disguise themselves as men of God. Criminals now know that the church system is unregulated and anything goes. Therefore the chruch system is being used by criminals to launder money from drugs trafficking, treasury looting, ponzi schemes, armed robbery and others.
