PhonesTecno Camon Cx Takes Long Time To Charge by comradeusmanhar(op):
Hello everyone, I am Usman Haruna, I will be very glad if I can get timely and favorable response to my question.

My Tecno Camon Cx takes forever to charge, in fact, more than 7 hours which is very unusual for big phones.

I notice the flash charge function doesn't display again... Before, when I input a charger, it displays a flash charge but not anymore.

I test/charge it with different original chargers including Tecno follow come charge and same result.

I factory reset the phone, same result.

I need help gently as at the moment, the phone don't even get fully charged again considering the number of hours it takes to a full charge.

Another reason why you should try to graduate with a good grade.

ATBU couldn't employ their graduate who built drone.

According to the varsity VC, "We have a student who graduated with a third class degree and has been able to build a drone and did his youth service with the military".

Me: We have to blame the school policy (same policy that is applicable to other institutions in the country), for giving preference to certificate/grade over intelligence.

On the other hand, while we blame Nigerian schools' policy on appointment of staff, this should go a long way in telling Nigerian undergraduates to 'make hay while the sun shines'. The time to work hard and graduate with good grades is now.

Never comfort yourself with few cases of those who got appointed with poor grades. Employment is competititive now that they use any excuse to discredit you and favour others. That's even when they want to be a little bit transparent in such employment process.

Study hard, be entrepreneurship, be creative and distinguish yourself between others in many ways, but strive to graduate with good grade, it may be the only condition that will guarantee you a job tomorrow in Nigeria.

Grades doesn't measure intelligence and age doesn't define maturity.

Shop Breaking: Graduate calls for Jungle Justice

http://www.themedia.com.ng/2017/04/shop-breaking-graduate-calls-for-jungle-justice.html

An immediate graduate of Mass Communication, Bayero University, Kano (BUK), Habeeb Olanrewaju Afolabi, has called for jungle justice for anyone caught breaking any shop in Oke-Oyi Community of Kwara State where he hails from.
The community is in recent times facing cases of shops breaking and no one has been caught, neither anyone to witness the scenario, according to him "...I call for jungle justice should anyone being caught irrespective of the frontier."

Afolabi made this known in a statement made available to www.themedia.com.ng in an article he tagged "Insecurity in Oke-Oyi: Where have we gone wrong?"

He writes...
It is yet another sad day for some people in my community. Barely a month now, there have been cases of force breaking of shops from one area to another. Sadly enough, no one has been caught, neither anyone to witness the scenario.

Many shops were broken earlier around Idisale-Ero, Garage Lanwa Rd. and Odebode Area, Ilorin East local government area of Kwara State. The incident at Odebode brought suspicion as it has never happened before.

There are traitors, there are godfathers and apparently, the menaces are part of the community.

THE LEADERS/REPRESENTATIVES
Who are they? Who are they representing? They are part of us. They represent none but themselves and their pockets. They are rogues (YES, 100%) and unconcerned.

THE PARENTS
Awon ipako oni'pako laari, enikan o'leri tie. Some are part of these 'self acclaimed' community leaders/representatives and others, they are subjects like us. They discover faults in others' children and conceal theirs. Knowing fully well that Lamidi/Sakira is no more sleeping at home. That you can only find Ramonu at Naira Bet shop and Sulia at club house.

THE HUNTERS
Kudos to these heroes. More power to their elbow and more bullets in their Sakabula (Local Riffle). These people know them. Yes, they do. But these people respect themselves, value their good names and advocate for PEACE to reign. Perhaps the hunter(s) is from A frontier and he caught a thief from B frontier, the story is ended there because if any action is taken, the story will change from the actual offence to issue of dichotomy between the two parties i.e. the hunter and the thief. You will hear something like "It is because he is from here" that you want to apprehend him?...etc.

CAUSES
The birth of Naira Bet, Sure Bet platforms caused this.
The birth of Club houses in our 'morally based' community caused this. And of course the lingering DISUNITY caused this.

Until, when the so called leaders/representatives embrace the truth and remember nothing last forever. When the sleeping parents become thoughtful and concerned. When our energetic and patriotic hunters build more courage, look beyond nepotism/favouritism and deal with any offender we shall get it right.
To this end, I call for jungle justice should anyone being caught irrespective of the frontier. >>>read more<<<http://www.themedia.com.ng/2017/04/shop-breaking-graduate-calls-for-jungle-justice.html

The National Assembly will not pass the 2017 Appropriation Bill soon as the Chairman, Senate Committee on Appropriations, Senator Danjuma Goje, told the upper chamber of the National Assembly on Wednesday that the police carted away budget documents when they raided his Abuja home recently.
Goje, while raising a point of order at the plenary, lamented the damage done to his property during the raid, saying work on the 2017 budget had been put on hold since the policemen invaded his house and took away the documents.
He said, “We were holding a meeting on the budget on Thursday (when his house was raided). So, from Thursday ((last week) till now, we have not been able to meet because some of the papers are not around. Many of us are traumatised. My house as a politician is a beehive of activities; people are coming from all over the country to sympathise with me. I have no time to sit.
“From today, we are trying to start sitting again as Appropriation Committee to see what we can do with the budget. I want to apologise to >>>http://www.themedia.com.ng/2017/04/nassembly-suspends-2017-police-carted.html

Editorial: FLAWS IN THE 2017 NIGERIAN AWARDS TENABLE IN NIGERIAN PUBLIC TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS

By: Comrade Usman Haruna, 08104772885

https://www.bukbuzz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/IMG-20170312-WA0002.jpg

SOURCE: http://www.themedia.com.ng/2017/03/editorial-flaws-in-2017-nigerian-federal-scholarship-award.html?m=0

I am pleading to all and sundry to help in the dissemination of this critique, not only that the voices of the students could again be heard by our leaders, but also because it may bring about change, especially in subsequent scholarship programmes by our government. Some may think issue of federal scholarship is not worth writing on, maybe they are unaware, check the breakdown of the budget for education sector and you will realize that it is part of our entitlement.

To begin with, the scholarship registration portal, www.government.gov.ng, is not a secured webpage, as such, any information you input on the page is not secured, and it can be hacked, modified or manipulated by intenders. As a matter of fact, this made me not to apply initially, but later decided to try my luck. The government should in future schorlaship programmes create an https (secured), webpage for registrations.

One painful thing about the programme is the eligibility criteria for Nigerian Award, which read; For all Undergraduate Scholarship applicants (Physically challenged inclusive) must be in their second year or above and have at least 4.0 Cumulative Grade Points Aggregate (CGPA) on a five (5) point grade scale or its equivalents and 3.5 CGPA for Monotechnics, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education, while applicants for Postgraduate Scholarship award should possess a minimum of first degree with Second Class Honors Upper Division.

The Government has cut out a larger percentage of her students from the award, it can be established without any need for research that students who are below 4.0 CGPA on a (5) point scale, 3.50 CGPA on a 4 point s and postgraduate students with grades less than Second Class Honors Upper Division are more than those that possess the aforementioned grades. Some people were saying they can’t bring the grade below that because of population, don’t you know how many students do seek for admission through JAMB and how many do successfully gain admission? The government should bring down the point bearable for an average student, for instance, students with 2.50 CGPA should be eligible.

Though, I am 4.0+ student, but, that does not mean I should support the cause for the federal government to require only students with 4.0+ for the awards. As opposed to opinions I received from fellow students before we write the scholarship screening at FGC, Kano State, I stood firm on my opinion that a scholarship award from the federal government must be entitled to by average students if not all. And the question that struck my mind was how many of those that set up the scholarship requirements or those that will conduct the screening exercise for us possess 4.0?

Ideally, there is not supposed to be provision

On reaching the screening center, I thought we would be treated like people who came to write examinations, the reverse was the case. We line up and write our names and verify our credentials in more than 3 different places. As solemn students, we arrived at the screening venue (Federal Government College, Kano State), before 9:00 am, but tactlessly, we wrote the exam after 5pm, while others inclusive of all postgraduate students were asked to come back the following day. Conventionally, scholarship programmes at far distances do feature compensation of transport fare, even if you fail the test, a typical example of NNPC/TOTAL Scholarship programmes.

May I confess to you that the examination was a muddle? 2 students shared a question paper at our center here, what a vexation? This is somehow witty and of course, made it known that the examination is nothing to go by for if it will be; maybe it would have been more organized and well scheduled.

We wrote the examination but we don’t know our fate, because we did not receive any text message or mail revealing our scores for us. The exams and the results are for us and not for the officials, as such, we supposed to know how performances, else, they are planning something malevolent.

If any official should remove, amend or change some data of students, to personalized accounts, no one will know for the reasons stated in the first paragraph of this article.

The scholarship programme suffers lack information, right from the time of registration, no communication no information has been passed to those that register for it, as such, students keep asking one another; how much is the scholarship sef? Have you received alert? When will alert enter? Those in other regions, have they received their awards? All these and so many others are questions people keep asking themselves.

I will employ anyone reading this to share it, so that some of the recommendations if not all may be effected. Thanks for reading, God bless you as you share.
