My people, thank God for me ohh. I was admitted yesterday. It started like play like play, i broke my fast at 12pm then slept because i didnt go to work so that i can monitor my baby who was ill two days ago. When i woke up i started feeling uneasy so i had to puke myself to vomit. After the vomitting i started feeling shivering and my hands and legs became dried like cat fish. I was crying and rolling on the floor and my DD was crying too being the only one at home. I called DH via whatsapp video, called my mum and they advised that i should call my driver to carry me to hospital. When i got to hospital, i was wheeled into the emergency, took my blood samples,urine,stool and all and at the same time on drip, all these happened from 5pm-11:30pm yesterday evening. After the drip, i felt better and the result came back as urinary tract infection and that was how i was discharged. If i am telling someone in my office that i was admitted yesterday, do you know that they cant believe me because i am feeling much better now. This is a testimony that my God liveth. People in the house, help me thank God ohh!!! We shall not cry over any of us in jesus name.

I went to the super store where I buy my baby's cereal. I asked for any other cereal I can give my boy they gave me NUTRIBEN, omo the thing scatter my baby's skin he had big rash from his neck to his hands. As soon as I stopped it fresh once stopped coming then it dried up. So I decided to stick to my Gerber alone no more experimenting.

My son has a cracked voice I took him to see his pediatrician. He look into his throat and said he tonsils where large and it might be due to bacterial infection from fighting allergen. He gave me antibiotics now Dh doesn't want me to give ds antibiotics. Pls what should I do?

Thanks to everyone that advised me concerning traveling with my 7mths for my very good friend's wedding. Hubby decided to go with us and my younger sister came from sch to join us so it was fun and also very easy handling my son.
Then the groom sister decided to toast my DH ( she saw fine ajebo boy) she had the gusts to ask him if he is taken Dh said he is taken she kept insisting even when she can see wedding band and the baby he is carrying looks like him. The chief bridesmaid was steering at him seriously. Chai lagos girls are bad sha.

Yes o, it won't hurt.

By the way, its good to introduce them to different taste as early as possible, it helps them to eat well when the time comes.

I started giving him ewedu soup at 5 months.
When I eventually introduced solid food fully, he grabbed it gidigan, I never experienced any difficulty in feeding him. Whatever u give him na chop and swallow, even till now. He can eat for Africa. I never for once fed him with formula, i only add to his cereal, from breast to solid. But I Breastfeed him for like 18 months.

Dapotemi, it also helps to put drops of eucalyptus oil on her pillow or blankie or on Harrison face towel and place it beside her so she can inhale it, it keeps the nostrils clear.

Tell mom to use Vapour Rub,works better that Mentholatum or Robb or Aboniki sef and it's gentle too but babies below 3 years can't use it.
Mom should also up her intake of food with Vit C content so baby can take it up.
Don't wrap her up too much just make sure her head is covered with a light cap and if she's really hairy, then let her be.
Also wear mittens for her and socks,rub Mentholatum on her hand and feet before wearing them.
AC and fan might have to be used sparingly.
Do the steam bath Hunniesuzie described above.
It's good mama is sucking the goo out.
You might also not want to lay her flat on her back, like slant a really big pillow and let her lie on it with her head elevated (the whole body will be on the slanted pillow), that way the runny nose obeys gravity and slides down instead of getting stuck.

its just the settled water in the bowl. But I make sure I didn't buy the ones that has been cut, we buy in whole and cut it by myself, then I drain the water and use drop to give him. He will be 2 years next month, no hitch at all.

At 8 months my first was eating watermelon never tried eko . If your kid likes it and no adverse reactions you are good to go.

Eko is just another way of making pap in a solid way. I don't think there should be any reaction. But, the only Advice i will give is that, make it yourself.

As per water melon, we started since 3 months self.

Sore throat sometimes is just a sign that the person want to have cough. Also, try throat lozenges like vickys sweet ( baba blue and the lemon type). It will cure it, and avoid cold water for now.

There is this woman that had a four months son who became sick . The sickness was so terrible that d boy was at d point of death. The woman being so rich brought out money to save the life of her dear son. At d hospital where d boy was admitted, she persuaded the doctor to invite some other medical experts as to assist in saving d life of her dear son. Not less than six medical experts where invited and God so kind, within a short period of time d little boy became Ok. I need not say d amount that was spent to save d little boy's life.

Now d ill side of this story is that this little boy only grew up to became abnormal till date. The mum's regret now was spending so huge of money to save d boy's life. She prefer to having lost d baby as a kid than suffering what she is suffering today. She sometimes wish him dead than being alive but nay mr death is not interested in dis guys life . The guy is in his early twenties now. The woman always locks him up in a room so that visitors will not know but the kind of moaning & groaning he will be making in that room will always draw the attention of visitors to ask questions.

So my dear just relax for God will make u to smile in a shortest while. So sorry for ur loss. Affliction shall not rise again second time. My prayers are with u.

God knows the best for us! But we as mere mortal see somethings that happen as a loss.

LO is grown now free time is spent wrestling with him, phone has become a toy to use to stone wall, etc. And the books us Abuja mummies bought and shared has yielded fruit, LO walks to his bookshelf, picks books and brings so i read for him.
