My grand daughter was foisted upon me for an all night omugwo stay(we usually do 7am to 7pm), and I nearly ran away o. She was just exploding atomic and nuclear bombs even while asleep. She did poo once, normal and nothing out of place but I'm worried about the farts. I'm waiting for her mom to come pick her so I'll confirm if this is a one off thing. She's 3M

Its normal ma, it relieves them of trapped gas, especially if the mother eats beans, moinmoin, egg, dairy products. It also relieves them of colic whenever they fart. So, its part of the parkage ma. Enjoy it while it last. She should outgrowt it before 6 months. Based on logistics, na the mama diet cause am.

Thank you so much. So I'm back. The doctor on duty was a house doctor. He prescribed eye drop but for the ears, he said no cause for alarm. I wasnt satisfied with his opinion as he was not confident about his answer. He sha said i bring the baby if there is fever or difficulty with breathing. I wish I met those experienced doctors or the consultants. I put everything in God's hands and pray everything goes well.

eye drop for the ear? though, there are some eye and ear drop combination sha.

From my experience, if your baby just had cold ( cough and cattarh) just of recent, I mean chronic one, it can leads to ear Infection which need urgent treatment with antibiotics.

Also, if you have been lying down breastfeeding your baby wrongly and you don't clean the ear, the breastmilk sometimes goes Into the ear and can cause Infection, the clot breastmilk will be coming out as pus ( bacteria) ( google this for more understanding). I no be science student.

The baby will be crying profusely. I'm talking from experience.

Antibiotics was recommended by a Dr.

Do you mean 4 diaper changes all through the 24hours of a day? (Meaning he wears each for not less than 6hours or thereabout atimes).
If yes, then I don't think you should rule out diaper rash just yet.
Or do you air his bum some of the times or practice other diapering strategies?
He's only 3weeks old and from what I know, newborns should use a lot of diapers in those initial periods, like almost 10-15 a day (way beyond 4 diapers).
So wait other mamas will soon come & contribute.

shuu!! 10-15/day ke? I never go beyond 4 during the day and change only once at night, no record of rashes till date. just make sure you change the diaper immediately your baby poo. That's all.

Don't mind me! I was just thinking aloud. Oluwa bless my pocket o. Some children can poo for Africa sha, and some poo follow each bomb thrown. So, your estimation is possible.

Its very possible for 3mths old to be teething. My son's teeth came out at 3mths without stooling. Someone recommended yoruba black soap when he was 2months old that it makes teething less stressful for u and the baby. so I used it to bath him religiously and he didnt stool.

Pls, what type of black soap? is it the normal dudu osun or the mixed one from those herbal market women?

Make sure you drink water from time to time, Do away with your phone for few hours everyday, avoid television for some hours daily, rest and don't stress your self, that was how I overcame mine when it became unbearable. Nothing like headache again, try all these. you will surely get better.

Anyways, may you not experience work without pay for several months, so you won't know how it feels to spend your money on transportation and working free of charge. I'm in peril right now...
My ex boss has taken all the joy and happiness in my life...

I recently got a job in a small law firm as a secretary with a small amount of salary for startup..
Just 2weeks ago, I noticed that my boss started growing cold towards me...
I searched myself several times to know if I had offended him in any way.... I was always punctual in my place of work, courteous to visitors, and always polite....
He went away on a trip, and sent a letter for me through mail that my services won't be needed any more that I shouldn't bother to come back...

I was shocked perplexed and everything bad thing you can think of...

I am so sad... He hasn't paid me my 2months salary and he has said he won't be able to pay because of recent downturn in revenue in the office.. The first month he said this I continued working because I felt he will eventually pay... Now he has retrenched me, I'm hopeless....
I have borrowed things on credit hoping to pay when he pays me... Now I'm severely stranded...
I am so vexed right now....
I know I can't afford a lawyer to sue him but Karma is surely my strengthhold...
I'm really tempted to expose the firm.. But you will never know when it could come back to haunt you...

In this life I will surely make it against all odds... Nevertheless all enemies of progress like my former boss and plenty more that are coming

Hmm, almost same thing my former boss did to me, though he was paying me before, all of a sudden, he refused paying me when I was pregnant with my son then till I went for leave, he didn't bother to make up till I put to bed. My son is now almost two years, and he didn't bother to pay my several months salary till now. Anyways I leave him to God, and I know that his children will suffer same thing, cos he denied me from buying things for my son. and that aspect really pained me.

To even say, he is a Muslim o. I have called severally, begged him as if he is to loan me, still nothing is done. Some fellows are just born to be wicked. I have moved on and I know my God will fight for me because its my sweat. Considering the distance of my location to the office then. God dey sha!

Am I the only one who keeps having all these weird dreams? On an almost every day basis

Last night, I dreamt that I gave birth to twins, two cute girls though I want a boy. I started breastfeeding them immediately, and my boobies was rushing like tap
I was now saying, "Ah, thank God o, some mamas have difficulty producing milk almost immediately, and see me here rushing o That means, I can do my EBF as planned... But one hitch. There are two girls. Can I exclusively breastfeed twins?"

The funny thing was, the more I kept breastfeeding, the more the babies kept increasing in size almost instantly
I could even begin to go out with them almost immediately

Abeg what does this dream mean o abi na hyperactive mind dey cause am?

Ofada rice in the north here is the normal local rice while the one for tuwo chinkafa is the pure white rice, I think both are nutritious.

@jazzyjazz abt d interview thing, I also went for one when my baby was barely 3months old, it was hurrible as I have never failed an interview bf..It was like the interviews done at Shell. Although am still applying cos I need to practice what I studied.

Lil advice, in case d issue of y u want to leave your baby and work. Tell them u need to put your brain into use and u never like been idle. Let them c u as a hard-working person... Never mention state of d economy. And y u left your former place, tell them it's cos u needed to do something more challenging, that u were no longer learning anything new so u needed job change and also for greener pasture.

For some years?? When did Molfix Pamper fully entered into Nigeria? Was it not last year. I could remember when they were begging me to help them sell their products in my shop which I vehemently refused.(around March 2016)


And I could still remember when I was begging them to supplied me goods which was very hard to come by.(somewhere around, November last year)


It hasn't been long they entered Nigeria. And please stop painting a bad image of the product. It could be that there was some kind of factory errors which could also happen to any other product.


So far, Molfix remains the best selling and the most trusted baby diapers I know. Particularly here where I sell.

Molfix entered Nigeria around late 2013/early 2014. not 2016 o.

Though, I my boy has not been reacting to it since 2015 that we have been on it, but one thing I discovered lately about them is the gel just scattered anyhow unlike before. Why people patronised it more than others is because it has been glorified, I hardly see a baby without using molfix diaper but truth be told, the standard/originality has dropped/fallen/reduced. So, she knew what she talking about.

The size 5 is even scarce now, may be my area sha.

Also, I think peak 123 is good also cos I know of mothers giving their babies and no complain. Just take note of any reaction while he is on it, then if you are not comfortable, change it.

Though I read it here sometimes ago that the sugar in peak 123 is much.

Hello mamas and papas. Please I need urgent assistance. I had to change my 18month old baby's diapers to Huggies dat has an Asian baby on it(size 5) as I could not find d Huggies we were using previously here. Each morning he is drenched in urine despite my aunt's claim dat she changes him 3-4 times b4 morning. I tot she was lying until I confirmed ds morning dat a diaper changed by 5am cud not hold urine past 7:30am!! Even if he pees 10x which is not possible for such a short time. I previously told her to look for molfix size 5 but she cudnt find any too, kept seeing size4. Please can someone help give me a name of any functional diaper please.

Seems this size 5 is scarce everywhere,.

How old is ur son? We were once told here that any child above 1 year can take normal adult milk, but full cream milk.
