wills: Rankings are controvarsial issues especially higher education rankings. What are the parameters used for these ranking and what authorities validate these rankings? These are questions to ask rather than worry about UNN or UNILORIN being ranked this or that. In times past we have seen some other Nigerian based rankings that uses the prestige of name and age to rank 1st generation University as top ranking regardless of the rot being experienced in some of this institutions. Presently there are a few Universities in Nigeria that can compete favourably with top notch Uni in the Africa but yet get no mention in rankings simply because they are young Universities,Privately run Uni or state owned Uni. To me this just makes nonesense of the entire ranking system and I would advice would be students to use more than just these ranking to make there choice of where to learn and gain a qualificationu are very correct not all universities who live on past glory are anything to write home about today o.most of their graduates sef are unemployed and afraid |
sammie one: Can someone confirm what happens to student in 200 level, 300 and 400 level.its a lie o u must attend lectures in lasu as lasu lecturers are strict with class attendance o maybe this ur friend is a fake student of lasu she is not in school. |
ambrosini593: This issue is becoming alarming. All most all the higher institutions lecturers in Nigeria are collecting money from undergraduate students for final year project (dissertation) submission. After when their parents has spent so much in training them from first year to final year. Some lecturers will frustrate you if you fail to pay the required money. even if you are writing the correct thing, they will still make sure you pay the money. Some lecturers chose or give you their own project topics so as to demand money from you in exchange for the writing materials. And failure to do so means you will come back for extra year. Thousands of final year students out there as we speak are facing these problems. Some lectures also demands in kind (sex) from female students leaving the male ones to suffer. The money they collect are so huge ranging from N50,000 to N100,000 respectively. I think this issue need to be addressed because our lecturers are becoming canker worms militating against students graduating in schools.report them if its true |

Nigeria played well at the final and the goal keeper onyema was fabulous they all did a great job? But on the issue of keshi resigning still bowls down to the unappreciative nature of nigerians, nigerians kept insulting the coach all through the match.he has tried. |

Everything about lasu is now online.go online n check up ur results payments and profile.LASU is organised.the system runs a transparent administration.don't follow another person to say LASU is delaying results, its a lie.this student may not have completed registeration or paid school fees or even have carry overs.face ur self and get ur things done properly don't blame it on LASU. |
i fully and completely SUPPORT the shutting down of satellite campuses, they should go to the main campus and do their studies there............... As a graduate of Lagos state University, i would tell you the truth, LASU is not as bad a s it seems, with the present vc- and the state governor, they have engaged in on going reforms and restructuring of the entire lasu, infact if you happen to go to ojo, you will understand better, they are really developing lasu seriously, new roads, new senate building, faculty of law is in continious development, faculty buses everywhere, they have really gone far. then on the issue of late release of results, that issue is one of their top priorities, and thats why they encourage students to register courses fast online so that they can collate results early.i wont support the fact that the lecturers are incompetent,in my time we had excellent and intellectual sound professors, who were exposed and they really lectured us very well.the LASUMBA is outstanding as lectures are conducted with research.LASU has the best faculty of Law. currently,LASU has changed and is reaching new frontiers. |
